Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2912: Chapter 2910: You Can Help Me Find Something to Do, Right?

Qin Xue’s words made Ji Yan realize that no matter what the outcome was, as long as it was good, it was what he wanted.

”Qin Xue, you mentioned at the start that you could help me find work, right?” Ji Yan felt hopeful once he heard he had nothing pressing.

For his sister’s sake, he had to work diligently. If he wanted her to live better, it would surely require a lot of money. Given their family’s current situation, it wasn’t easy to think positively.

Therefore, a good start and opportunity are important, everything else can wait.

Responding to Ji Yan’s words, Qin Xue simply looked at him, considered for a moment, then nodded: ”Yes, as long as you heal your injury well, I will help you find work later, including room and board. You won’t have to spend much money, but the premise is that you have to heal properly without any other issues. Can you do that?”

”I can.” Ji Yan heard the condition and thought it’s nothing, as long as he follows instructions.

At first, he thought it would be difficult, but hearing this, he found it quite easy.

So without much thought, he agreed. Since it’s something he can do, why not agree, right?

”Qin Xue, how is my brother doing?” After finishing her meal, Ji Yu approached them, asking Qin Xue.

”He’s fine, just needs some more time to recover.” Qin Xue didn’t say much else; there wasn’t much of an issue, just need recovery, no need to do anything extra.

”That’s good. I kept telling him to rest more, but he never listens. Now that he’s heard Qin Xue, let’s see if he’ll rest.” Ji Yu looked at her brother, wondering why he wouldn’t listen to her. If he had, he might be better by now.

But he wouldn’t listen, always doing chores when she wasn’t home, not resting well, and moving around, which affected his wound, making it hard to recover.

It’s like constantly picking at a wound that’s about to scab over.

This kind of situation is common, but with her own brother, she wanted him to listen, because that’s the quickest way to heal.

Otherwise, worsening the injury, they don’t have money for doctors, so Ji Yu didn’t want her brother to overwork.

Just hoping he could recover properly at once.

Only when this is done well, she wouldn’t have to worry so much.

And they wouldn’t have more debt, but her brother seems afraid she’ll get tired, always helping her, leaving her helpless.

In these moments, no matter how much she says, it doesn’t help. So, hearing Qin Xue, she was glad. Now he should listen to the doctor’s advice, not hide and work.

”I know, such a young age worrying about so much, be careful not to turn into a little old lady.” Ji Yan saw his sister young, doing so much every day, made his heart ache, always wanting to help lighten her load. But when she knows, she scolds him. Yet he had to do it.

Feeling discomfort himself is better than his sister struggling. He knows once he recovers, his sister will have it easier, but people are contradictory creatures.

Knowing is one thing, but watching and doing nothing, he couldn’t get past that emotionally. Thus, he both heals and helps his sister.

The result is now like this, so Ji Yu being mad actually makes sense, but he just doesn’t want her to overthink.
