Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2793: Chapter 2791: Being Pretty Doesn’t Mean You Can Cook

Only after figuring out her intentions can she know what steps to take next.

It’s not about what she wants to say; it’s about what Su Han plans to do.

”How could I be displeased? I haven’t tasted your cooking in so many years. You have no idea how much I want to eat your food again, and I want you to teach me so that he won’t be so long in despair because of you,” Su Han thought about things, unconsciously speaking her heart upon hearing Qin Xue’s words.

Only Qin Xue, who was closer to her, heard this, and she had an idea; she recognized her, but not the original person.

So who exactly is she? Coming here without acknowledging her and instead doing things that create misunderstandings, is this truly not a problem?

Qin Xue is not saying that what she did was bad; on the contrary, it is because of this that she is even more unsure of what to say.

Things are getting more complicated, and what does she mean by this? Who is unhappy because of her?

”Ms. Su, what did you say?” Qin Xue pretended not to have heard her and asked.

”It’s nothing. You are so good-looking, your cooking must be delicious; I’m already a little excited,” Su Han’s heart skipped a beat; did she say it out loud? Did she hear what she said?

Thinking of this, Su Han looked at Qin Xue, hoping to read something in her expression, only to be disappointed. She couldn’t see anything; she looked as usual, smiling warmly, without any unusual expression. Could it be she was overthinking?

”You’re wrong there—not every good-looking person is good at cooking. Who told you that being good-looking means the food is delicious?” Qin Xue laughed. In modern days, so many people can’t cook. If you want good food, how is it possible?

She can cook because her grandma told her she needed a life skill; she shouldn’t starve just because she can’t cook.

So her grandma wanted her to learn cooking, but she also said that learning to cook was just to feed herself, not to cook for others. Later on, she could cook if she wanted to, or not if she didn’t, but she should know how.

Because Qin Xue also liked listening to good eating, she learned it.

Who thought that once she started learning, she became quite skillful? Later, she even went for culinary training, and the meals she prepared were comparable to a chef’s.

But her ability doesn’t mean others have it too; that’s why it’s said not every pretty person cooks delicious food, because don’t forget—even those who cause disasters in the kitchen exist in the world.

Some people can’t cook; when they go into the kitchen, they either break dishes or burn the kitchen—and among these are plenty of good-looking ones.

On the contrary, many handsome men can make good food, like Chu Molin. Although he only cooks noodles, the taste is truly good.

But she doesn’t need to tell Su Han this; just pretend she doesn’t know.

”I just feel you can cook, so thinking you are so pretty, you must cook deliciously; no one told me anything,” Su Han nearly buried herself with her own words.

In her past life, because she could cook, Qin Xue just slightly guided her, taught her some skills, and her culinary skills progressed rapidly. Who would’ve thought she nearly dug herself into a hole.

Fortunately, this hole can still be patched up; otherwise, she really wouldn’t want to live anymore—so embarrassing. Mainly, she feared the little trust she had gained would be lost, and that would truly make her cry.

If things developed like that, she’d feel like dying. Don’t be fooled by Qin Xue’s smiling demeanor; she is like that only towards people she recognizes. For those she resists, it’s a blessing not to be completely crushed by her, let alone expect kindness from her.
