Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2758: Chapter 2756: Time to Close Up and Rest

”Now that I’ve got some free time after coming back, I’m thinking of processing some wine first, so we can finish sooner.” Qin Xue explained her thoughts to her mother because she was worried she might be concerned.

”Are you going to be okay with this?” Nangong Shulan asked, looking a bit worriedly at Qin Xue.

”It’s fine, mom. You should close up and get some rest; there are no customers, so what’s the point of staying open? It’s not good to stay up late.” Qin Xue didn’t want to stay open too late, especially since there were no customers, which would just be wasting her mother’s rest time.

”Alright, I get it. You guys should hurry up and wash up and rest. Honestly, I thought you were resting, but turns out you’ve been working until now.” Nangong Shulan said, feeling a bit helpless.

”Mom, you know that since both of us are back, we’ve left the kids with someone. If we don’t finish things here quickly, we won’t feel comfortable heading back to the Imperial Capital, right? So after we’re done, we’ll spend a few days with you guys before going back. Isn’t that nice?” Qin Xue walked over and took her mother’s arm, not taking her mother’s words to heart.

”Better not. You guys should finish your things and go back soon. It’s not good to always leave the kids with someone else; it’s better to take care of them yourselves.” Nangong Shulan didn’t dare to keep them; the kids are the most important, and the elderly couple doesn’t need them to worry about them.

If they had brought the kids along, she wouldn’t have had any problems; she would have surely kept them around longer. But they didn’t bring the little ones from home.

So Nangong Shulan wouldn’t let them delay too long here no matter what.

This is where being a mom makes you think differently from others; moms always keep the piece of flesh that came from them close to their hearts, making it hard to enjoy yourself.

Ever since she had children, she hasn’t been away from them for long—she hasn’t been separated from them, so she doesn’t want her daughter to be apart from her kids for too long either.

In the past, when they had things to do, she’d help take care of the kids. She took care of them then, so she wasn’t worried. But now things are different, and she can’t help but worry.

”Got it, mom. We’ll head back to our room now, and you should rest early, or dad will wake up later and won’t find you.” Qin Xue let go of her mother’s hand, saying goodbye to her mom, and went back to the room with Chu Molin.

Regarding this, she didn’t say much and could only wait for her mother to rest on her own.

Otherwise, no matter how much she said, it wouldn’t be useful, right?

After Qin Xue and Chu Molin returned to their room, they went directly into the space, as they couldn’t break their promise to their son.

”Yu Chen, haven’t you washed up yet?” Qin Xue saw her little son playing with water without changing clothes; why doesn’t this child listen?

It’s not that Qin Xue doesn’t let him play with water, but he’s too young, and playing with water is dangerous; it’s unsettling.

Qin Xue felt reassured with Xue Ling around but worried about what might happen if no one was watching and he fell into the water.

So this is what Qin Xue was displeased with. This child loves water so much, it’s like she’s lost count of how many times she’s talked to him; she doesn’t know what to do. Should Chu Molin teach him to swim? Otherwise, at the rate he’s going, she really can’t relax.

Thinking about this, she turned to look at Chu Molin beside her.

”What’s up?” Chu Molin noticed Qin Xue’s expression and asked her.

”Can you teach these two kids to swim? Otherwise, I’m worried when they play with water like this.” Qin Xue looked at the kids, really loving water, like fish seeing water. How can this be okay? It’s better to have a skill to rely on.

Qin Xue believes that only when the kids are well, she can be at ease.
