Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2596: Chapter 2590: We All Resigned

Facing everyone’s curious gazes, the family finally entered the private room. Such things were quite common for them, so they didn’t say much more.

”Boss, sister-in-law, you’re here, sit down. I told Rong’er not to go out to greet you, but she insisted.” Ding Xi called Li Rong ’Rong’er’ because Chu Molin also called Qin Xue this way, so he called his wife the same.

”There was no need to go out to greet us. We’re quite familiar with this place now. If we can’t find which room, we’ll just ask.” Qin Xue and the others have been here several times, and it’s Feng who manages the place now. With him here, would they not find it? So indeed, Li Rong didn’t really need to go out to greet them.

Moreover, at such times, they had just arrived and weren’t familiar with the place but could find Yuxuan Restaurant; it’s obvious why. It seems Yingying’s business is doing very well.

However, under these circumstances, it’s not easy for them to do anything. They need to get familiar for a while before unfolding their plans.

Even here, Qin Xue herself isn’t familiar with the whole city. Her activity range isn’t broad, something that needs changing in the future.

”Boss, why were you on the street today?” Ding Xi asked Chu Molin when everyone was seated.

”I retired, just completed the handover and returned. Couldn’t imagine running into you. How did you end up coming to the Imperial Capital? Weren’t things good in the province?” He genuinely didn’t know how they planned these things.

”Deng Kai and I both retired. A batch of new people came in, all fresh out of university. The country needs fresh blood. We discussed it and awaited the decision from above, then collectively retired. You know how we got there; of course, we can’t compare with college graduates. Not wanting to hinder their work, we resigned voluntarily. Though it affects our lives a bit, we shouldn’t hold back the country.” Ding Xi and Deng Kai retired together; others are still at their positions.

”What are you planning to do?” Chu Molin didn’t expect not only himself to retire but his two old friends as well. To him, it was a normal thing, but for them, it was their livelihood.

But he couldn’t have imagined they would retire just like that. Is such a decision really good?

But Ding Xi wasn’t wrong. He knew why they entered the research institute. Precisely because of this, Ding Xi said when they retired, he felt it was a pity.

Previously made sacrifices for the country, then joined the research institute, responsible for fieldwork, now directly retired and not on the job anymore. Isn’t it a pity?

Yet regarding this, Chu Molin didn’t say they did wrong. On the contrary, he admired them. For others’ future, they gave up their own, which is rare.

Their retirement is a loss to the country, but he didn’t understand why, given Mr. Xie’s style, such a thing would be approved.

However, Chu Molin didn’t ask Ding Xi too deeply but thought that now with two more friends, they could start a business together, thus ensuring some income. Just uncertain whether they are willing?

According to Xue’er, this is high-risk. If it doesn’t earn, there’s a risk of losing money.
