Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 1218: Personal Chef

Serena’s sudden action of kneeling and pleading to become his disciple caused the atmosphere to turn awkward.

”She can’t be a scammer, right?” Ding Xiao Ying muttered. She thought that she must have been a poor woman who decided to use this kind of tactic to avoid paying for the food.

After all, food in the Divine World wasn’t cheap, especially food that granted huge buffs.

Naturally, Xu Feng held a different mindset. Rather than thinking she was a scammer, he believed she was trying to make fun of him.

”There’s no need to humiliate me in such a manner.” Xu Feng knew his cooking wasn’t up to par in front of this famous chef.

As if he would be a buffoon and believe she was sincere in becoming his disciple.

It should be more accurate to say that she was jeering at him for daring to cook such a meal and serve others.

”Humiliate you?” Serena furrowed her brows.

”How could I humiliate a chef of your caliber?” She raised her voice slightly in alarm. What she despised the most was people disrespecting chefs.

How could she possibly humiliate Xu Feng when his cooking was superior to hers?

”The food you cooked is beyond my level, so I hope that you can teach me how to cook it.” She kissed her forehead to the ground, having mistakenly believed her sincerity was lacking. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have called her out for humiliating him.

For a chef of his caliber, it was only natural that becoming his disciple would be no easy feat.

”I think she’s being serious, Brother Feng.” Ding Xiao Ying swallowed a mouthful of saliva. She couldn’t fathom her over-exaggeration.

”The food is good, but not that good, though. Why would she want me as Master?” Xu Feng scratched his head in confusion.

He knew his capability and dared not boast in front of Serena—someone who had a huge influence in the past timeline.

So many blank checks were offered to her in exchange for her services or becoming their personal chef, whether it was in the real world or the Divine World.

Back then, Xu Feng himself was also tempted and wanted to taste her cooking, only to end up being rejected.

It was only a fortunate event that he managed to hug someone’s fame to finally get a chance to taste her food, even if it was just a little bit.

However, that little bit was enough to change his outlook on the culinary profession in the Divine World.

Who wouldn’t want an amazing buff combined with great flavor?

When Serena realized Xu Feng was hesitant and even skeptical of her intention, she was filled with bitterness.

The first time she wanted to acknowledge someone as Master, she was actually treated as someone joking around.

”If you don’t want to take me as a disciple, then can you at least teach me your cooking skills?” She inquired.

”I don’t feel like it.” Xu Feng flatly rejected her request. He barely had the time to manage his own schedule.

Where could he find the time to teach Serena about cooking?

Not to mention, he doubted his knowledge would be superior to hers. Since that was the case, he might as well reject her on the spot and avoid embarrassing himself.

One must know one’s limit!

He wasn’t an all-rounder type who knew everything.

Sighing in disappointment, Serena realized this must have been the feeling of being rejected. It truly ached one’s heart.

’Cool Wind... the rumors didn’t seem to be exaggerated in the slightest.’ She thought to herself.

There were many rumors surrounding Cool Wind, but the majority of them were all positive. Only the jealousy type would express their negativity. Still, these jealousy types would soon be swarmed by Cool Wind’s diehard fans and end up vanishing or apologizing.

”How about this, Cool Wind? I’ve heard that you have recently been busy filming a short drama. I can head over there and be a personal chef to cook for your actors. In exchange, you’ll impart the skills you learned in the Divine World.” Serena suggested.

”I—”

Before Xu Feng could even respond, Ding Xiao Ying intervened.

”Aish, just accept her. She’s being a nuisance. Impart her knowledge so she’ll leave us alone.” She exclaimed, feeling annoyed by Serena. This was supposed to be her alone time with Xu Feng to increase their intimacy.

Yet this Serena was constantly being a light bulb and disturbing her time.

She was truly infuriated.

”Huh, you can make the decision?” Serena glanced at her in surprise.

”Add me as a friend. I’ll send you the address, and Cool Wind will impart the knowledge once you arrive at the shooting location.”

”Okay!”

In the blink of an eye, the two of them exchanged contact. Serena then logged out to book the earliest flight ticket to Avalon City.

Meanwhile, Xu Feng was flabbergasted by the whole ordeal.

”Are you the boss of me or am I the boss?” He turned to her and asked. He was the one who hired her as an actor, so how did it seem like he was the one being hired?

”Aiya, she’s the pestering type.” Ding Xiao Ying pouted and wrapped her arms around his. ”If you are mad at me, then punish me. I’ll gladly log out and let you do whatever you want with me on the bed. I promise I won’t resist and will cooperate with you.”

”...”

Speechless, Xu Feng truly couldn’t understand what she and the other two were thinking.

He wasn’t Tang Sanzong!

Not to mention, he had no great trait to be desired whatsoever.

”Stop with the tease, Xiao Ying.” Xu Feng warned sternly. ”I’m a man at the end of the day. There’s a time when I won’t be able to control my emotions and actions if you keep teasing in such a way.”

Seriously... these three were killing him!

Constantly showing their seductive black pantyhose legs and touching him everywhere.

Did they seriously think he was some eunuch?

There was a limit to his endurance!

Once broken through, they would be crying in sorrow!
