Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 1203: Uninvited Guest

Two Days Later...

The mountain shooting scene finally came to an end. Almost all the scenes that were required in the mountain were shot.

The number of costume changes and waiting for daytime and nighttime were what delayed the shooting process the most.

After all, not every shoot was meant for daytime and vice versa.

”Hah, finally no more mountain shoots!” Xu Feng stretched his body. He was a little regretful of bragging about his strength and energy.

”That Carmen is one little devil!”

Ever since she realized braggart-like behavior, she actually added action scenes for him.

And it wasn’t just some simple action scenes, but intense ones.

”Who’s a devil?”

Unaware of her presence behind, Xu Feng’s body jolted slightly.

”What the?” He turned around and looked at her in shock. ”When did you get here?”

”I was here all along.” Carmen shrugged. ”As the director, my eyes are everywhere.”

Nodding, he couldn’t refute that argument.

What sort of director would she be if she remained clueless and unaware of the set?

”I bet you’re happy that you’re about to get steamy scenes.” Carmen suddenly mused. ”With the mountain scene over. It’ll soon be the cities and your wedding scene with Li Sheng Xuan’s character Sheng Xuan as your wife.”

”You damn right I am.” Xu Feng chuckled and admitted. He had kissed Chen Kexin and Ding Xiao Ying already. It was just Li Sheng Xuan left.

Besides, he realized being passive would only encourage these women from acting overboard. He might as well be bold to overwhelm them.

He wasn’t afraid of losing anything.

”Heh, finally showing your true colors.” Carmen shook her head and knew he was definitely enjoying the situation.

What kind of man wouldn’t enjoy being embraced by three beauties?

Xu Feng shrugged in response. There were two reasons he didn’t go overboard or attempt to do anything to them.

One, they were going to be long-term actresses under his company. He cannot afford to make them have any thoughts about leaving.

Second, he respected them and had no intention of doing anything harmful.

”Anyway, you should take a break. We have been shooting for more than 12 hours already. The crew and actors are exhausted.” Xu Feng suggested.

Normally, 12 hours of shooting in a short drama was enough to complete the production. But granted that everything in the set demanded a high standard, they were only about 20-30% done.

”I’ve already ordered the rest to pack things up and enjoy a hearty meal at the hotel. They are probably celebrating right now as we’re talking.” Carmen said, having been one step ahead of him already.

”I see. You can celebrate with them. I’m a bit exhausted, so I’ll return to the suite first to rest.” He said and was prepared to leave.

But before he took another step, Carmen suddenly wrapped her arms around his.

Confused, Xu Feng glanced at her with a questionable look.

”I also spent the whole time directing the past 2 days and am mentally exhausted.”

”Understandable.”

Sometime later, the two of them returned to the suite.

Xu Feng took off his clothes and was about to tell her she could shower first, until Carmen suddenly planted a kiss on his cheek.

”What was that for?” He was startled and alarmed by her behavior.

”I just wanted to have a taste of Tang Sanzang as well.” She mused and retreated to the bathroom.

Meanwhile, Xu Feng touched the cheek that was kissed with a dazed expression.

’Seriously... this is why I prefer playing in the Divine World.’ Not being able to play there had already caused him to have so many femme fatales.

While Xu Feng wanted to forget about the kiss, back in the bathroom, Carmen slumped to the ground.

Her face was flushed with redness.

’Ugh, why did I do that?’ She covered her face and regretted her action. It was a good thing she fled fast enough; otherwise, the atmosphere would have turned awkward.

’He definitely knew about my feelings.’ She pursed her lips.

For someone clever and shrewd like Xu Feng. How could it be possible that he was ignorant of other feelings toward him?

Just the fact that Xu Feng continued to pretend to be a fool meant that he didn’t want to be in a relationship yet.

However, that didn’t mean he was disinterested in her. With his skills alone, he could easily dodge and even avoid her entirely.

Shaking her head, Carmen decided to take a cold shower to cool off.

As she started showering, outside the living room, Xu Feng lay on the bed with a complicated expression.

’This is bad.’ Xu Feng didn’t expect the short drama arc to cause such a complicated relationship to expand.

The three actresses might initially have been teasing him, but he could tell that they were genuinely trying to get him after the shootings.

Then there was Evelyn, who remained deathly silent but oozed out a murderous intent consistently.

Lastly, their provocation actions had inadvertently caused even Carmen to start acting boldly and wanting to establish territory.

Just when he wanted to close his eyes to sleep and forget all the problems, his phone suddenly rang.

”What’s the matter, Xing?” Xu Feng asked in a somewhat annoyed tone. Wei Xing should have known better than to disturb him this late.

”Ah, there’s a person who wishes to meet with you.” Wei Xing replied and continued, ”They are from Green Life Corp.”

”Green Life Corp?” Now that was a company Xu Feng hadn’t heard of for a while after his last visit to Lumora City.

”Who is it and what do they want?” He questioned. What was this uninvited guest trying to do?

”It’s a woman named Tess, and I verified the information. She’s currently in charge of Green Life Corp and hopes to have a proper discussion with you.”

Xu Feng’s mood quickly turned sour.

He had given them face last time and warned them severely. Yet they ignored it and even chose to go against him!

”They want a discussion, and I should go? Who does she think she is?”
