Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 515: Ruinous Annihilation

While almost everyone thought Xu Feng was going to meet his demise here and then, only one person believed him.

”I bet the Raid Leader is trying to create tension and drama again.” Carmen, who had finished dealing with the Elite Enemies, was nonchalant in the crisis that Xu Feng was in.

Fool her once, shame on Xu Feng!

Fool her twice, then shame on herself!

Since Xu Feng was the one who brought the Sentinel over there and stopped all of a sudden, Carmen was positive that he had another shrewd plan cooking up.

It was just that she couldnʼt comprehend or ever know what kind of shrewd plan he was doing until it had been revealed to him.

Shaking her head, Carmen didnʼt want to rack her brain to understand and simply decided to rest for the time being. Since she was warned beforehand by Xu Feng to conserve mana when the raid was nearly finished, she might as well start resting now.

After all, she remained at the top in terms of Raid Points, and she highly doubted anyone could surpass her at the moment.

ʼThe Boss is probably going to end up being killed by the Raid Leader. Heʼs not the type to let others kill steal and snatch the top position from me.ʼ She thought to herself.

Sure enough, the moment she thought of that, she witnessed Xu Fengʼs pet, Flint, had isolated and barricaded the rest from advancing forward.

Although the scene could still be seen on a higher platform, which OneManMedia had already positioned himself in, the others could no longer assist or even interrupt the battle between Xu Feng and the Sentinel.

”Our Raid Leader is now barricaded with the Sentinel. This is an unbelievable moment.”

OneManMedia began commentating on the scene for the viewers. The truth was though, he was anxious and afraid of what was going to occur next. Thus, he decided to do commentary in hopes of distracting himself from worrying too much.

So far, the raid had been going completely awry, with no one being able to predict the outcome anymore.

Was Xu Feng going to meet his demise?

Normally, the people would have agreed and said yes already.

However, after witnessing Xu Feng remain unscathed despite the bombardment of the Sentinelʼs attack, they could no longer be sure anymore.

If Xu Feng could escape and remain unscathed once, then what was stopping him from doing it again?

Hence, many people stopped commenting and refrained from making a fool of themselves. This was especially true for the malicious viewers, who were forced to stop commenting when nearly every neutral or those with goodwill stopped commenting to watch the scene.

With the comment section not being swarmed, these malicious viewers dared not comment, lest they be caught instantly by OneManMedia for being the troublemaker.

While everyone was holding their breath, wondering how Xu Feng was going to deal with the crisis, the Sentinel didnʼt think much of the barricade behind.

In fact, it seemed pleased that they were barricaded, given that Xu Feng should no longer have any escape path. Without an escape path, the Sentinel could finally end Xu Fengʼs life once and for all.

With a menacing grin, the Sentinel dashed ahead, not believing Xu Feng could have any more cards in his sleeve.

And he would be right.

Xu Feng truly had nothing that could stop the ultimate attack from Sentinel, but he didnʼt plan to stop from the start.

ʼFinally, this Sentinel had used Ruinous Annihilation.ʼ He thought to himself, witnessing the Sentinelʼs attack.

The Sentinelʼs ultimate attack, known as ”Ruinous Annihilation,” was one of the most feared abilities in its arsenal—a devastating move that could not be interrupted or paused once initiated.

As the Sentinel reached a suitable distance and commenced this attack, it slammed both of its massive stone arms into the ground, creating an intense gravitational force that forcefully pulled Xu Feng toward its center.

The entire battlefield trembled as jagged stone pillars erupted from the ground, forming a circular arena that trapped everyone inside.

A dark red glow began to emit from cracks across the Sentinelʼs body, and with every pulse of energy, the area became more chaotic.

The walls of the arena started closing in slowly, and anyone who touched them would take massive damage.

As the gravitational pull grew stronger, Xu Feng remained calm and collected.

He showed zero signs of trying to avoid being sucked toward the center.

ʼWell, itʼs a risky plan, but one death is nothing.ʼ Xu Feng willingly allowed himself to be sucked by the gravitational pull.

Without letting the Sentinel believe it had successfully caught him, the plan wouldnʼt succeed.

Thus, he still feigned an act to deceive the Sentinel, struggling and trying to flee.

Roaring in a joyous tone, the Sentinel raised both its arms high above its head, gathering colossal energy into its fists, forming a ball of destructive power between them. Without a doubt, it wanted to overkill Xu Feng.

Once the ball was charged, the Sentinel brought its fists down with immense force, creating a shockwave that flattened everything within the arena, annihilating anyone caught too close to the center.

There was no way to survive the ultimate attack.

You canʼt even use any evasive maneuvers, or attempt to stay on the outer edge of the collapsing arena to avoid the stone pillars that kept erupting, all while battling the relentless gravitational pull.

As the Sentinel was about to complete his final attack, Xu Feng also signaled for Flint to begin.

Instantaneously, Flint stomped on the ground, just seconds before the Sentinel smashed Xu Feng into bits.

As Xu Feng died from the Ruinous Annihilation, the Sentinel didnʼt even get to enjoy its moment of victory when it noticed the ground beneath him was showing signs of cracking.

It sensed something was amiss and was about to leave to a safety position, only to realize the earlier barricade had actually formed into a durable defensive wall.

A brief seconds later, its eyes noticed Flint, the annoying pest in their mind flying straight to the ceiling and shattering a precipice.

Startled, the Sentinel watched as the precipice dropped down, unable to comprehend the situation.
