Martial Arts, the Little Master of the Ancient Tomb, Becomes Stronger When You Drink

66: Chapter 66 Those near the water get the moon first; good things shouldn’t go to outsiders.A wave of intense heat washed over her, and Lin Chaoying’s mind instantly went blank.

Coming to her senses, Lin Chaoying instinctively wanted to struggle, but her body couldn’t muster even a bit of strength.

Su Xuan’s arms bound her like two iron hoops.

It would have been fine if she hadn’t struggled, but with a slight movement, her foot stepped on something unknown.

The two of them fell straight backward just like that.

Su Xuan’s hand instinctively protected the back of Lin Chaoying’s head, but the heat still didn’t stop.

If Gongsun Lüe were here, she would surely cry out, ”Heavens! Master is actually pinning Grandmaster to the ground and devouring her!”

From initial resistance to later struggling, Lin Chaoying finally found she couldn’t break free and complied...

As time passed second by second, Su Xuan showed no intention of stopping.

Suddenly, Lin Chaoying’s beautiful eyes widened. Summoning strength from who knows where, she kicked Su Xuan away.

The situation was too sudden; Su Xuan ’didn’t react in time’ and slammed hard onto the ground nearby.

Lin Chaoying rose from the ground in disarray, smoothing her slightly messy dress. She looked at Su Xuan with shame and anger, ”Rebellious Disciple, do you know what you are doing?!”

Su Xuan rubbed his arm that had hit the ground and stood up, saying quite casually, ”Isn’t it just a kiss? When I was little, Master used to kiss her disciple! Is such a heavy kick really necessary?”

Seeing that Su Xuan didn’t take it seriously at all, Lin Chaoying’s chest heaved with rage. ”That was when you were little! You’re so grown up now; how can you still do something so out of line? We are Master and disciple!”

Hearing this, Su Xuan didn’t want to pretend anymore. He brushed the dirt off his clothes and met Lin Chaoying’s beautiful eyes. ”What about being Master and disciple? I like you, so I’m going to kiss you!”

Hearing the Rebellious Disciple’s blunt words, Lin Chaoying was both ashamed and angry. Avoiding Su Xuan’s direct gaze, she scolded, ”Your brain is truly broken!”

”My brain isn’t broken!” Su Xuan took a step forward and said quite boldly, ”With such a beautiful woman like you swaying in front of my eyes every day, I’d be the one with a problem if I didn’t fall for you.”

”They say the pavilion closest to the water enjoys the moonlight first, and rich water should not flow into others’ fields. Why can’t a disciple be with his Master?”

Su Xuan took another step forward, closing the distance between him and Lin Chaoying. ”Today, your disciple is laying it out! I, your disciple Su Xuan, like you, Lin Chaoying! In this lifetime, you must marry me!”

Watching Su Xuan approach her step by step, Lin Chaoying used her jade-like hand to draw her Peach Wood Sword into her grasp and pointed it at him. ”Rebellious Disciple, don’t you dare come any closer!”

Looking at the trembling tip of the Peach Wood Sword and the panicked eyes of his Precious Master, Su Xuan smiled. ”Master won’t hurt me, so why hold a sword?”

Su Xuan grabbed the tip of the Peach Wood Sword, snatched it from Lin Chaoying’s hand, and threw it aside.

Then, ignoring Lin Chaoying’s panicked look, he lunged forward and pulled her into his embrace.

Lin Chaoying wanted to struggle, but she couldn’t muster any strength, her beautiful eyes already half-veiled with tears.

Su Xuan leaned into Lin Chaoying’s ear and whispered, ”Does Master truly not like her disciple even a little bit?”

Lin Chaoying’s delicate body trembled violently. Her heart was in a flurry, and she was speechless. ”I... I...”

Lin Chaoying stammered, unable to say a single word.

Su Xuan let go of Lin Chaoying with feigned regret and turned his back to her, his figure looking lonely and desolate. He sighed, ”Forget it! Master, let’s just pretend today’s events never happened!”

As the Rebellious Disciple left her embrace, Lin Chaoying suddenly felt an emptiness in her heart.

Su Xuan’s figure was desolate as he hung his head in loneliness, walking back step by step in the direction he had come from.

One step, two steps, three steps...

The crisp sound of footsteps continuously reached Lin Chaoying’s ears.

A faint, sharp pain instinctively arose in Lin Chaoying’s heart.

”Wait!”

Hearing these words, Su Xuan’s figure paused. Out of Lin Chaoying’s sight, the corners of his mouth curled up slightly, yet he still spoke with feigned dejection, ”Master, what else do you want to say?”

Su Xuan’s downcast voice continuously stung Lin Chaoying’s heart.

Indeed! Did she really not like her little disciple at all?

If she said that, she probably wouldn’t even believe it herself.

To be honest, just now she really had a slight impulse to be with her little disciple.

However, it was quickly swallowed by the complexity within her heart.

Looking at her little disciple’s desolate back, a faint blush rose to Lin Chaoying’s cheeks. She turned her pretty face away and bit her lip, saying, ”I... can give you a chance!”

Hearing this, Su Xuan suddenly turned around. Though his face appeared somewhat calm, his heart was already blossoming with joy. ”Master, is that true?”

”It’s true!” Lin Chaoying nodded shyly. Seeing her little disciple about to approach, she was startled and took two steps back. ”Don’t be in such a hurry! I haven’t finished speaking yet!”

Su Xuan pridefully stopped his advance.

Seeing that her little disciple was no longer pressing her step by step, Lin Chaoying breathed a sigh of relief. ”I can give you a chance, but you must give me some time to consider it.”

The little disciple’s sudden move had caught Lin Chaoying off guard, and her heart was now in utter turmoil.

She needed some time to calm down, no matter what.

After speaking, Lin Chaoying peeked at her little disciple out of the corner of her eye.

To her surprise, Su Xuan immediately became unhappy upon hearing this. ”Then Master, give me a timeframe. One day, two days, or a month? Without a definite word, what if Master goes back on her promise?”

”How... how could I go back on my word?”

”Regardless, I don’t care. If Master doesn’t give a definite word, then when we go back later, I’ll have Mother send betrothal gifts to Master!” Su Xuan acted like a complete rogue, as if he would go to any lengths if she didn’t agree.

”Rebellious Disciple, you...” Hearing this, Lin Chaoying was truly startled, her beautiful eyes filled with panic.

After a short while, Lin Chaoying finally made up her mind. She bit her lip and said tentatively, ”Then, when your martial arts surpass mine, I will agree to your request. How about that?”

Hearing this, Su Xuan’s head instantly slumped. ”Master~ You are in the Heavenly Human Realm~”

Lin Chaoying turned her back, forcing herself to remain calm. ”That is your business; I don’t care. Regardless, if you can’t beat me, I won’t agree to it.”

”Fine~”

Lin Chaoying’s beautiful eyes flickered. ”Also, before your martial arts surpass mine, you are not allowed to mention this matter again. Between us, Master and disciple, everything must remain as it was before, without the slightest change. Otherwise, I still won’t agree!”

Su Xuan nodded with a face full of reluctance.

You can say what you want, but what happens then will be up to him.

Seeing her little disciple agree, Lin Chaoying finally breathed a sigh of relief, unable to help but sigh in her heart, ”A Rebellious Disciple is hard to guard against...”

After saying that, Lin Chaoying felt uncomfortable staying here for even another second.

Immediately, her jade-like feet tapped lightly as she flew off in the direction of the Ancient Tomb.

By the time Su Xuan snapped out of it, Lin Chaoying’s figure had long since vanished without a trace.

Only then did a triumphant smile appear at the corners of Su Xuan’s mouth.

Schemes are necessary; if things were done conventionally as usual...

Given Master’s temperament, there’s no telling when—if ever—there would be a result between them.

Goal achieved. Now, time to go buy a hen and stew some soup for Long’er.

Su Xuan raised his Wine Gourd, took a large gulp, and then headed down the mountain.

Inside the Ancient Tomb.

Gongsun Lüe’s small face was flushed red, her teeth clenched, and her slender little arms trembled slightly. ”Why isn’t Master back yet? Eer really can’t hold this up anymore...”
