Martial Arts, the Little Master of the Ancient Tomb, Becomes Stronger When You Drink

62: Chapter 62 Reunion of Master and DiscipleWatching Little Dragon Maiden’s departing figure, Su Xuan’s outstretched hand was helplessly withdrawn, and he shook his head with a wry smile.

He then strode towards the secret chamber where he usually cultivated.

I wonder what Master is doing now?

Before long, Su Xuan arrived outside the cultivation chamber.

He pressed the mechanism, and the stone door opened.

Su Xuan peered inside with a gaze full of curiosity and longing.

His eyes swept the room and finally settled on the bed at the far end.

There, Lin Chaoying, clad in a white robe, was lying on her side, leaning against the bed. Her long, black hair was casually scattered behind her, half-covering her delicate and graceful figure. In her arms, she was holding a meditation cushion.

She looked exactly like a sleeping beauty.

Su Xuan took a closer look. Wasn’t that the meditation cushion he usually sat on during his cultivation?

Su Xuan didn’t speak. He lifted his foot and walked towards Lin Chaoying without making a sound.

He walked to Lin Chaoying’s side and slowly crouched down.

At this moment, less than half a foot separated Su Xuan and Lin Chaoying.

Seeing the faint traces of weariness unintentionally revealed on his Precious Master’s beautiful face, Su Xuan couldn’t help but feel a pang of heartache.

Su Xuan couldn’t bear to disturb Lin Chaoying’s rest. Lin Chaoying didn’t wake up either. The two of them maintained this posture.

Time passed minute by minute. Su Xuan’s hands gradually lay flat on the bed, just like when he was a child at his desk.

Su Xuan gently rested his head on his two outstretched arms, his eyes unblinking as he gazed at Lin Chaoying.

The distance between them narrowed once more, almost to the point of touching.

Even though Su Xuan tried his utmost to restrain himself, his faint breath inevitably fell upon Lin Chaoying’s smooth, delicate nose.

Lin Chaoying’s beautiful eyelashes fluttered, and she slowly opened her eyes.

Her vision shifted from blurry to clear, and her lovely eyes gradually reflected the figure of her little disciple.

Yet, Lin Chaoying made no movement, simply gazing quietly.

Su Xuan didn’t move either. For a moment, the two of them stared into each other’s eyes.

Time flowed slowly by. Lin Chaoying actually revealed a bitter smile and murmured self-mockingly, ’It seems I’ve really been missing my little disciple too much. This hallucination has actually lasted this long without fading.’

Despite the bitter smile, Lin Chaoying’s gaze remained fixed on the bright, starry eyes of her little disciple, not leaving for a moment.

As if sensing something, as if guided by some impulse, Lin Chaoying actually extended a fair, jade-like hand, reaching towards Su Xuan, landing on that face she had thought of at night.

And precisely at that moment, Su Xuan suddenly grasped Lin Chaoying’s jade hand, gently pressing it against his own cheek. He smiled softly and said, ’Master, is it possible that this time it’s not a hallucination?’

The moment her jade hand was touched, Lin Chaoying’s delicate body trembled slightly. Her watery eyes half-lidded, she said in a trembling voice, ’Xuan’er?’

Su Xuan nodded, opening his innocent, large eyes wide. ’Master~ Xuan’er is back~’

As if afraid everything before her eyes was an illusion, Lin Chaoying even pinched herself hard, feeling the pain.

Lin Chaoying’s beautiful eyes brightened slightly. ’Xuan’er, Xuan’er, you’re really back?!’

Instantly, Lin Chaoying’s eyes half-lidded with moisture as she threw herself into Su Xuan’s embrace.

Her jade legs were bent on the bed in a side-lying posture. Her fair, jade-like arms tightly wrapped around her little disciple’s neck, and her beautiful face rested gently on his shoulder.

A smile appeared at the corner of Su Xuan’s mouth as he gently pulled his Precious Master into his arms.

Just as Su Xuan was enjoying this joyous reunion, Lin Chaoying suddenly lightly tapped with her jade hand, sealing his pressure points.

Su Xuan’s expression changed slightly, a wry smile appearing at his lips. ’Master~ What are you doing~’

Lin Chaoying avoided Su Xuan’s gaze, sniffled slightly, and gently wiped away the tears that were about to fall.

She sighed inwardly, ’That was close. I almost let my little disciple see me in an embarrassing state...’

After tidying herself up a bit, Lin Chaoying turned around and got down from the bed.

Her jade feet were bare, yet unstained by dust. Her beautiful face wore an angry expression as she stared fixedly at the little disciple before her. Gritting her teeth, she said word by word, ’Xuan’er, your Master asks you, who gave you permission to leave the Ancient Tomb without a single word?!’

As she spoke the latter part, Lin Chaoying actually grabbed one of Su Xuan’s ears.

’Ouch, it hurts, it hurts, it hurts~’ Su Xuan wore a ’pained’ expression, pleading pitifully. ’Master, stop pulling, it hurts~’

Lin Chaoying rolled her eyes. She hadn’t even used any strength, how could it hurt? This little disciple was just putting on an act.

Nevertheless, Lin Chaoying let go of her little disciple’s ’pig ear’.

With a flick of her plain white sleeve, Lin Chaoying’s phoenix eyes still held a trace of anger. She wasn’t planning to let this mischievous disciple off yet. ’I asked you a question! Don’t try to change the subject!’

Su Xuan chuckled sheepishly. ’That... that was because Mother told me to do it... hehe...’

Mu Tingxue: ’...’

Lin Chaoying’s phoenix eyes moved slightly, suspicious. ’Is that true?’

Su Xuan nodded repeatedly. ’A thousand times true, Master~ Think about it, as your most, most, most, most beloved disciple, would Xuan’er willingly leave you?’

’It was all because Mother insisted Xuan’er leave the Ancient Tomb...’

While Su Xuan spoke these insincere words, he kept apologizing to his mother in his heart, ’Mother, since you won’t be punished, your son will borrow your name for a bit! You wouldn’t want your precious son to be punished, would you?’

Before Su Xuan could finish speaking, Lin Chaoying placed her jade foot on Su Xuan’s back, pressing him firmly onto the bed. ’You still dare to lie? Do you really take your Master for a three-year-old child?’

Lin Chaoying was very angry. Did he really think she knew nothing?

This wretched disciple actually dared to lie? He’s exactly like his mischievous mother!

Back then, wasn’t it just because she left for a year? Her little disciple had actually been taught to be so mischievous by Xue’er...

Lin Chaoying glared with her phoenix eyes. ’You just stay here. When you realize your mistake, then your Master will release your pressure points.’

With that, she paid no further attention to Su Xuan and walked towards the stone door.

Hearing his Master’s footsteps growing increasingly distant, Su Xuan realized his Master was serious this time. He quickly shouted, ’Master, Xuan’er knows he was wrong!’

His words fell, but there was no response whatsoever.

Su Xuan’s heart sank. Had Master really left? He tentatively called out twice more, ’Master? Master?’

What Su Xuan didn’t know was that Lin Chaoying was sitting on the grand Master chair behind him, her jade legs crossed, watching this scene with great interest.

Lin Chaoying didn’t speak, just watched quietly, feeling an inexplicable sense of peace in her heart.

It seemed only when her little disciple was by her side could she feel this peace.

After a while longer, looking at the little disciple kneeling there, Lin Chaoying felt a bit of heartache...

So, she moved her jade feet lightly, walked to Su Xuan’s side, and adjusted him to a more comfortable position.

Su Xuan’s eyes lit up. ’Master, you’re back? Xuan’er knows he was wrong. Quickly release my pressure points!’

Lin Chaoying didn’t respond to Su Xuan. She merely changed Su Xuan’s position from kneeling to sitting, then returned to sit on the grand Master chair.

Now, Su Xuan was sitting directly opposite Lin Chaoying, with only three meters separating them.

His pressure points still sealed, Su Xuan’s face showed a bitter expression as he looked helplessly at his Master opposite him. ’Master, when did you become so mischievous too?’

Lin Chaoying first instinctively wanted to retort, but then a scene from many years ago suddenly flashed in her mind. A light smile appeared at her lips. ’Wasn’t it you, Xuan’er, who taught me?’

Su Xuan rolled his eyes. ’Master, you’re so funny. In this world, it’s always Masters who teach disciples. When have disciples ever taught Masters?’
