Martial Arts, the Little Master of the Ancient Tomb, Becomes Stronger When You Drink

12: Chapter 12 Reversing the Heavenly Gang, to make my master obey?Su Xuan’s retreat was interpreted by Wang Chongyang as ’playing hard to get’.

He thought to himself, ’Little brat? Don’t I know your type?’

That look made Su Xuan’s skin crawl. He shook his head to dispel the unclean thoughts and continued,

’What, you don’t dare?’

’Haha, dare? Of course I dare!’ Wang Chongyang laughed heartily, liking Su Xuan more and more. ’Speak, how shall we compare?’

Su Xuan thought for a moment and said, ’You have seven disciples, while I am alone. You choose one of your disciples to compete with me, how about that?’

’Good!’ Wang Chongyang agreed without a second thought.

Even if his disciples were useless, any one of them picked at random couldn’t possibly lose to a child, right?

The more Wang Chongyang thought about it, the more excited he became, already fantasizing about his future blissful life with Lin Chaoying.

’However...’

’However what? Speak! This... this poor Taoist agrees to everything!’ Wang Chongyang almost blurted out his true feelings in his excitement.

’If you lose, you must never see my Master again in this lifetime! Nor may you come to harass us at the entrance of my Ancient Tomb again!’

’Good, this poor Taoist agrees!’

’Also, if you lose! You must present all the rare and precious Spirit Medicines of the Quanzhen Sect!’

’Good, agreed! This poor Taoist agrees!’

No matter what Su Xuan said, Wang Chongyang agreed to it.

In Wang Chongyang’s view, this was all Lin Chaoying’s act of feigning reserve. How could he not agree?

Could a mere child possibly surpass The Seven Quanzhen Masters?

Seeing it go so smoothly, Su Xuan, fearing Wang Chongyang might later go back on his word, thought for a moment and said,

’To prevent you from reneging later, you must now swear an oath to the Dao Ancestor!’

Wang Chongyang was slightly taken aback and chuckled awkwardly, ’How could this poor Taoist possibly go back on his word?’

Su Xuan rolled his eyes and paid Wang Chongyang no heed.

Seeing this, Wang Chongyang had no choice but to take it as Lin Chaoying being overly reserved. He cleared his throat,

’This poor Taoist, Wang Chongyang, swears to the Dao Ancestor, that if this poor Taoist’s...’

’Su Xuan,’ Su Xuan stated his name.

Wang Chongyang smiled and nodded, ’If this poor Taoist’s disciple loses the contest with Su Xuan, this poor Taoist shall never see Sect Leader Lin again in this lifetime, and shall never set foot within the Ancient Tomb’s territory again. Should this poor Taoist break this oath, may all my Meridians sever and I die!’

Unlike the previous world, in this world, people held oaths in extremely high regard.

They valued them more than their own lives.

Wang Chongyang, who founded the Taoist religion and revered the Dao Ancestor, would never break an oath sworn in the Dao Ancestor’s name.

With this oath, Su Xuan finally felt at ease.

’Very well, tomorrow at Chen hour (7-9 AM), meet at the peak of Zhongnan Mountain! Please return now!’

’Good, this poor Taoist will return to prepare immediately!’ Wang Chongyang smiled, turned to leave, but suddenly remembered something...

He stopped, took out a Secret Manual from his robe, and tossed it towards Su Xuan.

’This poor Taoist came in haste and brought no gift. This Innate Skill manual shall serve as this poor Taoist’s meeting gift!’

Leaving those words, Wang Chongyang vanished on the spot.

Leaving only Su Xuan and the two others bewildered in the wind.

Little Dragon Girl’s delicate face was filled with confusion as she asked softly, ’Junior Martial Uncle, why is that person so happy even after being scolded?’

Su Xuan looked at the *Innate Skill* manual in his hand and shook his head, ’Maybe he got scolded stupid.’

Su Xuan was also puzzled in his heart, ’I scolded you, yet not only are you not angry, but you even gift me a martial arts Secret Manual?’

It was then that Lin Chaoying finally asked Su Xuan, ’Xuaner, why do you want to compete with his disciples?’

’Although the martial arts of The Seven Quanzhen Masters are mediocre, they are not so easy to deal with~’

’Besides, Xuaner, you are only eight years old and lack practical combat experience~’

’Alright~ Master~ just listen to me~’ Su Xuan pushed Lin Chaoying from behind towards the Ancient Tomb.

Little Dragon Girl hurriedly followed.

’Ah~ Xuaner really has no respect for seniors or juniors. It’s always the Master telling the disciple to obey. Since when does the disciple tell the Master to obey?’

’Also, your Master knows your martial arts are not inferior to The Seven Quanzhen Masters, hey hey hey, stop pushing your Master...’

When Su Xuan first mentioned competing with The Seven Quanzhen Masters, Lin Chaoying had wanted to interrupt him.

Unfortunately, she was ’secretly’ stopped by Su Xuan.

Not wanting to disrupt her Precious Master’s plan, Lin Chaoying had suppressed her doubts until now to ask.

Who would have thought this cheeky little brat would turn heaven and earth upside down, actually wanting her, the Master, to obey...

Returning to the Ancient Tomb, after verification from his Master, Su Xuan confirmed this was the genuine *Innate Skill*.

Inside the secret chamber.

Su Xuan sat cross-legged on the meditation cushion he usually used for Cultivation.

Themnemonic (mnemonic verses) of *Innate Skill* gradually surfaced in his mind:

’At the four cardinal hours of Zi, Wu, Mao, You, return Qi to Dantian, palms push forward.’

’Face north, back to south, posture towards heaven, intent follows the palms moving between.’

’Focus intent on Dantian, one Yang stirs, left and rightReclaim (draw back)correspond (correspond to) two acupoints.’

’Palms together in prayer before chest, True QiRotation (spins)Through (penetrates) within.’

’Speed conforms to thirty-six...’

As Su Xuan circulated his Internal Energy, the Innate Skill gradually transformed into specks of golden light, spreading from the Tianling acupoint throughout hiswhole body (entire body) Meridians.

Finally flowing slowly into his Dantian.

During the circulation, it autonomously began to slowly fuse with the *Profound Art*...

Su Xuan opened his eyes, a slight smile curling at the corner of his mouth.

His Meridians had actually expanded twofold.

His Master had said his Meridians were already more than three times that of an ordinary person.

Now they had expanded another twofold.

Now his Meridians were a full six times larger than those of a normal person.

Coupled with the Acquired Divine Power he gained from drinking wine.

He could absolutely be called invincible within the same realm...

If, as his Master said, his strength was greater than that of aHorizontal training (external/toughness training) Martial Artist at the Innate Realm...

Killing enemies beyond his realm was not impossible...

[Ding, congratulations host, *Innate Skill* has reached thegetting Started (beginner) stage.]

[Ding, congratulations host, successful Fusion of *Innate Skill* and *Profound Art*.]

Listening to the continuous prompts ringing in his ears, Su Xuan’s lips curled up slightly.

Su Xuan’s decision to compete with The Seven Quanzhen Masters was not without consideration.

Competing with The Seven Quanzhen Masters, firstly, would allow him to test his current martial prowess and gain practical combat experience.

Secondly, he could collect medicinal ingredients for brewing wine, preparing forFollow-up (subsequent) Breakthroughs.

Thirdly, and most importantly, he could help his Master drive Wang Chongyang away.

Furthermore, his Precious Master was his. How could he allow others to covet her?!

Wang Chongyang: Listen to yourself, is that human speech?

As soon as Su Xuan stepped out of the secret chamber, he bumped right into his Master’s embrace.

’Xuaner, if you don’t want to compete, we simply won’t go tomorrow. Let Wang Chongyang come if he wants. Anyway, your Master won’t see him...’

’Alright! Alright! Master, stop talking~ It’s so late, time to sleep~ otherwise you’ll turn into an old woman~’

’I am already an old woman, nowhere near as young as you said today. By the time you grow up, your Master will be old~’

As they walked, Su Xuan suddenly stopped.

’Xuaner, what’s wrong?’

Just as Lin Chaoying was puzzled, Su Xuan suddenly jumped into Lin Chaoying’s arms, bit his own finger, andStuff into (stuck it into) Lin Chaoying’s beautiful mouth.

’Xuaner, you... mmm...’

Before Lin Chaoying could react, she suddenly felt her body become incredibly light, as if meticulously cleansed. The Impurities within her were swept away, feeling more comfortable than soaking in a hot spring~

Unbeknownst to her, without even noticing it herself, she had returned to her most youthful and beautiful appearance...

Only a touch of maturity now lingered between her brows...

It seemed she had also achieved a Breakthrough...
