Martial Arts, the Little Master of the Ancient Tomb, Becomes Stronger When You Drink

5: Chapter 5 First BirthdayTime flies when one is busy nursing; soon, a year had passed.

Perhaps it was due to his Longevity Physique, or perhaps because of his Transmigration.

At only one year old, Su Xuan was already ninety centimeters tall, while Little Dragon Girl was only seventy centimeters tall.

Not only that, Su Xuan ’learned’ how to speak at three months old and learned how to somersault by eight months.

But no matter how hard he tried, Mu Tingxue wouldn’t let him touch a single drop of alcohol.

Today happened to be the first birthday of Su Xuan and Little Dragon Girl.

”Xuaner, Longer, today is your birthday. Do you have any wishes?” Mu Tingxue held one in each arm, her face beaming with a smile, filled with a sense of happiness.

This past year had been the happiest time in Mu Tingxue’s life.

The feeling of having children was truly wonderful!

Lin Chaoying and Li Mochou sat to the side, the table covered with delicious delicacies.

In order to let her son eat delicious food in the future, Mu Tingxue had actually reached the culinary skills of a top-tier chef within a single year.

Li Mochou was truly numb with envy!

Su Xuan kept his large eyes wide open, glancing at the wine pot on the table from time to time, his eyes full of longing. ”Mom~ I want to drink wine~”

Little Dragon Girl pouted, her face flushing red as she said, ”Long... Longer... also wants to drink wine...”

Mu Tingxue’s smiling expression stiffened, and she rubbed Little Dragon Girl’s head. ”Longer, don’t learn from your Junior Martial Uncle. Wine doesn’t taste good. Longer won’t drink it; Longer will drink jade bee nectar, okay?”

Little Dragon Girl had been taken as a disciple by Mu Tingxue, so Su Xuan naturally became Little Dragon Girl’s Junior Martial Uncle.

Little Dragon Girl tilted her head, her eyes blinking as she looked at Su Xuan, seemingly waiting for his lead.

The corners of Su Xuan’s mouth curled up, revealing a mouthful of uneven teeth. It seemed that Longer had been well-influenced by him over the past year.

”You’re still laughing!” Mu Tingxue extended a finger and poked Su Xuan’s forehead.

”It’s all because of you, you bad boy, leading Longer astray. You’re still too young; you’re not allowed to drink, do you hear me!”

”Ah?” Su Xuan’s face was full of reluctance. ”Mom, today is my birthday. Just let me have a little, okay?”

Ever since Su Xuan could walk, he had been plotting to steal wine to drink.

Later, when Su Xuan was using the purple gold jade gourd to secretly store wine, he was caught red-handed by Mu Tingxue.

Since then, the mechanisms within the Ancient Tomb had been changed. Su Xuan never found the secret room where the wine was hidden again, and the purple gold jade gourd was confiscated.

Little Dragon Girl blinked her eyes. ”Long... Longer also wants... Junior Martial Uncle... to drink wine...”

Lin Chaoying watched this scene with a beaming smile.

For some reason, it had only taken a year for Lin Chaoying to go from rejecting the boy Su Xuan to slowly accepting him, and then to wanting to understand him more deeply.

Even now, whenever she saw Su Xuan’s innocent and brilliant smiling face, she felt a warmth in her heart.

However, this disciple of hers was also quite strange; his physical development was too fast, catching up to that of a normal three or four-year-old child.

It was just that he clamored to drink wine all day, which was a bit of a nuisance.

Although Lin Chaoying really wanted to figure out what was going on, wouldn’t letting Su Xuan drink wine at this age be a bit too young?

Su Xuan slowly broke free from Mu Tingxue’s embrace and jumped into Lin Chaoying’s firm yet soft embrace, his two chubby little hands wrapping around Lin Chaoying’s jade-like neck.

”Master, your disciple wants to drink wine~”

”This...” Lin Chaoying was stunned. Looking at Su Xuan, who kept burrowing into her arms, she looked at Mu Tingxue with some helplessness. ”Xue’er, how about letting Xuaner have a little bit?”

”Young Miss, why are you following their nonsense too? Xuaner is only one year old!”

”Isn’t Xuaner special? Having just a tiny bit should be no problem.” Lin Chaoying gave a sheepish smile.

After all, whose child is this large at one year old?

On other matters, Lin Chaoying had absolute authority, but regarding Su Xuan’s physical health, she didn’t dare make a hasty decision.

Mu Tingxue was very helpless. Looking at Su Xuan, who was still acting spoiled in her Young Miss’s arms,

”Then just a tiny bit?”

”Yay! Long live Master!” Hearing his mother’s words, Su Xuan excitedly gave Lin Chaoying a hard peck on the cheek.

”Hey! You little rascal!”

Looking at the wine in the cup, which wasn’t even enough for a single gulp, Su Xuan’s face instantly slumped.

”Drink it. Didn’t you want to drink wine?” Mu Tingxue said while holding Little Dragon Girl.

Forget it, something is better than nothing. I’ll trick her into giving the jade gourd back later; he had stored quite a bit of wine in the jade gourd’s hidden space.

*Gulp~*

Su Xuan picked up the wine cup and drained it in one go.

[Ding! Internal Energy has increased slightly!]

At the same time, Su Xuan felt a sliver of warmth appear in his body, flowing from his neck through his Meridians and into his Dantian.

An excited smile appeared on Su Xuan’s face. He finally got to drink wine!

”How is it? Mom was right, wasn’t she? Isn’t wine pungent and spicy, absolutely terrible to drink?” Mu Tingxue also had a faint smile on her face.

Mu Tingxue had agreed to let Su Xuan drink precisely to let him taste what wine was like, so as to completely extinguish his desire to drink it.

In her view, in the eyes of a small child like Su Xuan, pungent wine could never compare to sweet jade bee nectar.

”It’s delicious! I want to drink a little more!” Su Xuan’s face was full of excitement, his fingers gesturing. ”Just a little bit!”

”No!” Mu Tingxue’s expression stiffened. She grabbed the wine pot and pulled it in front of herself, her face full of determination. ”No more drinking. If you drink again, I’ll wean you!”

”Okay~” Seeing Mu Tingxue use her ultimate move, Su Xuan could only give up. ”Mom, can you give me back my purple gourd?”

As if anticipating Mu Tingxue’s refusal, Su Xuan said again, ”Xuaner promises absolutely not to use it to store wine!”

”Really?”

”Mm-hmm.”

Seeing Su Xuan’s serious expression, Mu Tingxue’s heart eventually softened.

It was her precious son’s first birthday after all; she couldn’t let him be unhappy, could she?

”Mochou, go and bring the gourd to Xuaner.”

”Yes, Master.”

”Long live Mommy!” Su Xuan jumped back into Mu Tingxue’s arms and gave her a hard peck on the face as well.

”Oh, you’re messy~” Mu Tingxue laughed and pinched Su Xuan’s cheek.

”Long... Longer also wants... Junior Martial Uncle’s kiss...”

”Haha, okay, Junior Martial Uncle’s kiss!”

”Xuaner, haven’t you always wanted to practice martial arts? After today, Master will teach you martial arts.”

”Really? Master, your disciple loves you to death~”

”Su Xuan, this is my gift to you, but you can’t open it now. You have to take it back and look at it yourself.” Li Mochou brought over a brocade box, looking quite mysterious.

”What is it? I have to go back to see it? Also, why are you calling your Junior Martial Uncle by his name again? You really have no sense of seniority!”

Li Mochou’s pretty face turned red with frustration as she said word by word, ”Su Xuan, I’ll say it one more time: I am older than you!”
