Pervert In Stone Age: Breaking Cavewomen with Modern Kinks

Chapter 729: Maya’s Suppressed Tears

Maya’s eyes followed every movement. The moment Victoria sat down and deliberately avoided looking at her, Maya’s thoughts grew more anxious and painful.

[Teacher... she must be angry at me... and disgusted... She isn’t even looking at me... After everything... she won’t even give me a single glance...]

[I want her to look at me... even if it’s with anger... just look at me...]

Rachel, sitting beside her, continued watching the strange tension with growing confusion.

[Boss is gripping her own hand so tightly under the table... her knuckles are white. She’s never this emotional during meetings. And the way she’s looking at Ms. Victoria... It’s not business. It’s something else entirely.]

[What exactly is the relationship between these two...? And why does the young man beside Ms. Victoria keep glancing between them like he understands everything?]

The air in the private meeting room felt heavier than it should have, filled with things left unsaid and emotions carefully locked behind formal expressions. The soft hum of the air conditioner was the only sound for several long seconds.

Maya suddenly spoke. Her voice came out slightly shaky at first, but she forced it into a firmer, colder tone, as if trying to reclaim control of the situation.

”Why are you selling your business now...?”

Victoria heard the question clearly. For a brief moment, her fingers tightened on the armrest of the couch, but she did not let any emotion reach her face.

She was fully aware that SHADOW was monitoring every word and every expression in this room. When she answered, her voice was calm, detached, and perfectly professional.

”Just tell me whether you want it or not. If not, I’ll leave.”

The words were blunt, almost dismissive. Maya’s eyes flickered. Her fingers, still resting on the table, curled slowly into a fist before she forced them to relax.

”Wait.”

She reached for the document Victoria had brought — the one Victoria had already signed — and signed it herself with quick, slightly unsteady strokes.

Then she gestured sharply to Rachel. Rachel, still confused by the entire atmosphere, placed another set of papers in front of Victoria. Victoria signed them without even glancing down at the contents, her movements efficient, cold, and final.

Maya couldn’t hold back the next question. Her voice dropped lower, almost vulnerable despite her best efforts.

”Aren’t you afraid of any tricks? What if I’m tricking you...?”

I caught Mom’s thoughts clearly in that moment. They were heavy with restrained emotion.

[No... I can’t show my emotions now... I’m so sorry, Maya... I’ll explain everything to you once we get to the island Dexter mentioned... Just a little longer... please wait for me...]

Victoria kept her face perfectly composed. She looked at Maya with the same distant expression she had worn since entering the room and replied in a calm, almost indifferent tone.

”I know you better than you think. You’ve wanted my business for a long time. Today, you finally got your wish.”

The words landed like a quiet blade.

Maya stood up abruptly. The sudden movement made the high slit of her red dress shift, briefly revealing more of her thigh before the fabric settled again.

She turned her head away and walked toward the side table near the window, deliberately keeping her back to us. Her shoulders were trembling — small, controlled shakes she was clearly trying to hide. When she spoke, her voice was tight, strained by the effort of suppressing tears.

”...Thank you then, Teacher.”

The final word slipped out almost against her will.

Victoria noticed everything — the trembling shoulders, the way Maya’s voice cracked on the word ”Teacher,” the way she refused to turn around.

Guilt flashed through her eyes for the briefest second before she locked it away again. Her thoughts turned sharp, cold, and filled with quiet rage.

[I’ve hurt her once more... She used to call me Teacher so naturally... We were together all the time... I wanted her to take care of the company someday and help Dexter run it in the future... And now I have to sit here and pretend she means nothing to me... ]

[I won’t let those people from SHADOW get away with this so easily... I’ll ask Dexter to drag every last one of them back to the Stone Age... and I’ll make sure they suffer for every second of this...]

Victoria stood up. Her posture remained perfect, her voice steady and final.

”Our business is done. Dexter, let’s go.”

I rose from my seat and gave a polite nod toward Maya’s back.

”Goodbye, Aunt Maya.” I also gave a short nod to Rachel, who still looked thoroughly confused by everything she had just witnessed.

As we walked out of the meeting room, the heavy door closing softly behind us, I noticed the tears that had finally escaped Mom’s eyes. They slid down her cheeks silently. I leaned closer and spoke in a low, steady voice.

”Mom... don’t worry. Everything will be fine. We’ll explain it to her soon.”

Victoria nodded once, wiped the tears away with the back of her hand in a single, sharp motion, and kept walking without looking back. Her expression had already returned to its usual cold elegance, but the faint redness around her eyes still betrayed what she was feeling.

We walked out of the building together.

Once we were a safe distance away, Victoria asked in a low voice,

”How are we going to get on the same plane as them?”

I answered calmly.

”Just wait here, Mom. When Maya comes out, I’ll pretend to be on a call about a last-minute flight cancellation. If she hears it, she’ll offer us a ride. Given her relationship with you, she won’t just leave you stranded.”

Victoria didn’t overreact. She simply nodded once, her face composed again.

A short while later, I noticed Rachel and Maya walking out of the building.

I immediately took out my phone, raised it to my ear, and began speaking in an irritated tone, loud enough for them to hear.

”How can you cancel on us at the last minute? Do you have any idea what kind of inconvenience this is? You can wait to be sued for this—”

Maya stopped walking the moment she heard me. She turned toward us and asked,

”Dexter, is everything okay?”
