Pervert In Stone Age: Breaking Cavewomen with Modern Kinks

Chapter 710: The Puppeteers in the Dark

I looked at Maya, her eyes glistening with unshed tears, her lips trembling as if she were fighting to keep her composure. She shook her head, her thoughts a storm of guilt and fear.

[No... I can’t make contact with Dexter or Teacher... What if those guys find out about it...? And they won’t listen to any explanation... It would be worse...]

Then, as if flipping a switch, Maya pretended to turn cold, her expression hardening as she looked at Rachel. ”Rachel, let’s go...” Her voice was sharp, final, and she stood up, walking away without looking back at me.

I watched her go, my eyes tracing the sway of her hips in that red dress, the fabric clinging to her curves as she disappeared with Rachel. There was something tragic in the way she carried herself—strong, yet broken.

I walked out of the building, my mind racing, and sat in my car. The leather seats creaked beneath me as I pulled out my magical tool from the system storage, transforming it into an advanced AI-controlled laptop—sleek, black, and more powerful than anything on the market.

I took a deep breath, my fingers flying across the holographic keyboard. ”Find out what really happened to Maya,” I commanded the AI.

”Everything. Why she left Mom’s company. Why she stole the clients. And who the hell is behind this.”

The AI worked in seconds. Files, CCTV footage, dark net history, dashcam recordings—everything related to Maya and the Shadows flooded the screen. And as I read, the truth hit me like a freight train.

These weren’t just business rivals. These were puppeteers—a group of individuals who controlled the world from the darkness. Media, politics, wars, economies—everything was under their thumb. They called themselves The Shadows.

Their modus operandi was simple but brutal: buy shares in major companies, infiltrate from within, and control from the shadows. And Mom’s company had been their target.

According to the data, five years ago, they approached Mom, trying to force her into a deal. But Mom rejected them, angrily throwing them out of her office. The Shadows didn’t like rejection. But they didn’t act immediately—they preferred subtlety, avoiding unwanted attention.

They tried again and again, but Mom refused every time. So, they decided to destroy her company instead. And for that, they needed Maya.

Maya wasn’t directly approached. No, the Shadows were smarter than that. One day, on her way to the office, she was kidnapped. The footage was chilling—Maya, terrified, dragged into a black van, her eyes wide with fear.

The video of her initiation into the Shadows was even worse. She was brought before Jacob, a man in his 50s, the head of the New York Shadows organization. The room was dim, the atmosphere heavy with unspoken threats.

Maya looked shocked, her body trembling as Jacob explained who they were. ”We are the Shadows, Ms. Maya. We control everything. And we want Victoria Williams’ company.”

But then, Maya surprised them.

”Oh really? Thank god...” she said, her voice laced with venom. ”You have no idea how much I hated that bitch Victoria... So you guys just want control of her company? And major shareholding?”

Jacob nodded. ”Yes. If you can make it happen peacefully, it’s best. Otherwise, we have to take extreme measures... We usually avoid it... unless we can’t find other ways.”

Maya took a deep breath, her mind racing. ”I have a better idea...” she said, her voice calm but calculated. ”You know Victoria is a business genius. Why not use her? If you have a golden egg-laying hen, you don’t cut open its belly. You let it keep laying eggs...”

Jacob leaned forward, intrigued. ”What do you mean?”

Maya smiled, but it was cold, sharp. ”Victoria is stubborn. She’ll never sell her company or give out shares, no matter how much you offer. But what if... we take away all her clients? And even the ones she has her eyes on in the future?”

She paused, her eyes gleaming with a dark intelligence. ”I can grow a company more powerful than hers... by doing that. And let Victoria keep looking for projects... while we steal them. Don’t you think that’s a better idea than killing the golden hen?”

Jacob chuckled, impressed. ”I didn’t expect to meet someone as interesting as you, Ms. Maya... We can agree to your idea. We have plenty of time to play...”

Jacob continued with a chuckle. ”I’d also like to see Victoria’s face filled with helplessness... And when we’re tired of playing... we can just end her... and her company...”

Maya smiled, but I noticed Maya’s fear at the word ”end”. ”Ms. Maya, don’t worry... We have people everywhere. We don’t want people to start looking into us... but it’s still easy for an accident to occur. Like a car crash... a family of three dies...”

Maya’s face paled, but she nodded, accepting her fate.

Jacob stood up, handing her a bank card. ”Then I’d like to see how Ms. Maya shows us what she just said...” The card had $100 million—seed money to start her own company, one that would rival Victoria’s.

The video ended, but the data kept coming. Maya resigned as Victoria’s assistant the next day.

She stole clients, undercut deals, sabotaged projects—all while building Maya Enterprises, a company that, on paper, was hers... but in reality, was 60% owned by the Shadows.

The remaining shares were public or distributed among directors and board members. Maya held only 5%. She was nothing more than a puppet, a slave to the Shadows.

And the worst part? Mom’s company had stagnated. Not growing, not failing—just stuck, helpless, while Maya’s company thrived, all the profits funneled to the Shadows. The auction today? Part of their plan. The land was slated for a government project—a goldmine—and the Shadows wanted it.

But why? Why was Maya protecting Mom?

I transferred all the evidence to my phone, then transformed the laptop back into a black ring, slipping it onto my finger. I took a deep breath, my mind reeling.

Maya was protecting Mom. But why? Was she really this kind? I shook my head. If Mom knew... she’d break down. Knowing Maya had been protecting her all this time, while she resented her... she’d never forgive herself.

Should I end the Shadows once and for all? But that was a lot of people to kill—too much work.

My thoughts kept circling back to Maya. Why was she doing this? Why go to such lengths for someone she barely knew?

From the data, Maya had only been Mom’s assistant for 1.5 years before all this began. So why?

There was one possibility... but I couldn’t bring myself to believe it. Maybe I was thinking too much.

My phone rang. It was Mom. I picked up, hearing her excited voice. ”Did you get it...?”

I hesitated. ”No...”

Victoria’s voice cut in, sharp and suspicious. ”What happened?”
