Pervert In Stone Age: Breaking Cavewomen with Modern Kinks

Chapter 714: Mom’s New Girlfriend?

Mom pulled back, her eyes red and swollen, her face wet with tears, her mascara smudged like a warrior’s paint after a lost battle. The weight of her realization was crushing her, her breath coming in ragged gasps as she clutched at her chest, her fingers trembling like leaves in a storm.

”I called her a snake... a backstabber...” Her voice was a whisper, her hands covering her mouth as if she could take back the words she had spoken in anger.

The guilt was eating her alive, her mind reeling as the full weight of her mistake crushed her. ”And she was protecting me...” Her eyes were wide with horror, her thoughts spiraling into chaos.

”I pushed her away...” she sobbed, her fingers clenching into fists, her nails digging into her palms hard enough to draw blood.

”I accused her... I blamed her... and she never said a word... she never defended herself...” She shook her head, her tears falling like a torrent, her voice breaking into incoherent gasps. The years of hatred were collapsing under the weight of the truth, and she couldn’t bear it.

”She let me hate her... she let me think the worst of her...” Her body convulsed with sobbing, her fingers clawing at her own hair, her mind unraveling. ”And all this time... she was suffering... for me...” Her voice was raw, her body curling in on itself as if she could disappear into the sofa.

”Oh god...” she wailed, her voice breaking, her body shaking as she collapsed against me again, her face buried in my shoulder.

”What have I done...? What have I said...? I destroyed her... I broke her... and she still protected me...” Her fingers clung to my shirt, her sobbing uncontrollable, as if I were the only thing keeping her from falling apart completely.

I held her tightly, my own eyes burning with unshed tears, my voice soft as I stroked her hair. ”It’s okay, Mom... It’s okay...” I whispered, though I knew it wasn’t. Not for her. Not for Maya. Not for any of us. The damage had been done, and the truth was too much to bear.

After crying for what felt like an eternity, I heard Mom’s voice, muffled but determined, her grip on my shirt loosening as she pulled back slightly.

”I... want to go meet her...” she muttered, her voice thick with emotion.

I pulled back and looked at her face—her eyes still red and puffy, her cheeks flushed from the tears, her mascara smudged in dark streaks down her cheeks. I couldn’t resist teasing her, my voice light despite the heaviness of the moment.

”You... you are not thinking of cheating on Dad, right?” I grinned, my eyebrows waggling as I leaned in, my voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. ”I mean, Maya is pretty hot... and she does love you...”

Victoria’s face flushed crimson, her eyes widening in shock and indignation. ”Dexter...!” she hissed, her hand shooting out to twist my ear, her voice sharp but laced with exhaustion.

”Dare to tease your mom like that...” she growled, her fingers pinching my ear harder as I yelled, clutching at her hand in mock pain.

”Help! Now Mom has a lover and doesn’t even want her son...!” I grinned, dodging her next swipe as I jumped up from the sofa, laughing as she chased me around the room.

She caught up to me, her fingers pinching and itching my sides as I squirmed away from her, my laughter filling the room.

”You little brat...!” she huffed, her breath coming in short bursts as she finally cornered me, her hands on her hips as she panted.

”I ought to spank you for talking like that...!” Her eyes were narrow, but there was a hint of a smile tugging at her lips, her anger melting into amused exasperation.

I grabbed her hands, my voice gentle but unyielding. ”Mom, look at me...”

She looked into my eyes, her own still teary. I wiped them away with my thumb, my hand gently caressing her face. ”Mom, what do you think of Maya being your daughter-in-law...?” I asked, my voice teasing, trying to lighten the mood.

Victoria snorted, her lips curling into a small smile despite herself. ”Hmph. Don’t even think about it...” she said, her voice laced with amusement. ”What about your Aunt Diana? She is my daughter-in-law...”

I chuckled, teasing her further. ”Mom, are you jealous...?”

Victoria scoffed, her face flushing again. ”Why would I be jealous?” she huffed, her voice indignant, though her eyes betrayed her.

Then, her expression softened, her voice turning serious. ”I just want Maya to be safe... That’s all...” she said, her fingers tightening around mine. ”I owe her too much...”

”You and Maya... It’s like a forbidden romance... Star-crossed lovers...” I dramatically placed a hand over my heart, my voice mockingly dreamy. ”The tension... the longing... the unrequited love...”

Victoria groaned, her face flushing even redder, her hand swatting at me again. ”Dexter, stop...!” she cried, her voice a mix of laughter and frustration.

”You are impossible...!” She shook her head, her lips twitching as she tried to hide her smile. ”I am not thinking of cheating on your father...!” she insisted, her voice firm but her eyes betraying her amusement.

I laughed, dodging another swipe as I moved back to the sofa, sitting down with a grinning smirk. ”Then why are you blushing so much, Mom...?” I asked, my voice teasing, my eyes gleaming with mischief.

”If you’re not into her, then why does the idea of her being your daughter-in-law make you so flustered...?”

Victoria scoffed, her arms crossing over her chest, her voice sharp but laced with humor. ”Because you are my son, you brat...!” she huffed, her eyes rolling.

”And Maya is... well... she’s Maya...” Her voice softened, her expression turning thoughtful. ”I just want her to be safe... That’s all...” she said, her fingers tightening around mine. ”I owe her too much...”

I squeezed her hand, my voice reassuring. ”Mom, don’t be afraid. I won’t let anything happen to her or you...” I promised, my eyes serious for a moment.

Victoria shook her head, her voice firm. ”I don’t need you to get involved in this any further...” she insisted, her eyes pleading. ”I should talk to your father about it... Once he gets back, we will think of some solution...”

I saw the worry in her eyes—she was terrified for my safety. I decided to tell her about my abilities, hoping it would ease her mind.

”Mom, there’s something I want to show you...” I said, my voice casual but my eyes serious. ”Don’t be surprised...”

Victoria raised an eyebrow, her expression skeptical but curious. ”What do you mean, ’don’t be surprised’...? Dexter, what are you—”

Before she could finish, I grabbed the fruit knife from the table. In one swift motion, I slashed my forearm, the blade biting deep into my skin. A thin line of red bloomed instantly, dripping onto the floor.

”FUCK—!” I hissed, the pain sharp but brief.
