Pervert In Stone Age: Breaking Cavewomen with Modern Kinks

Chapter 709: Who Controls Maya?

Maya’s eyes lit up as she recognized me, her grip tightening on my hand as she pulled me closer, her voice warm and genuine. ”You are Teacher’s son...?” she exclaimed, her excitement palpable.

There was no sarcasm, no malice—just sincere concern. ”It’s been a long time since we met... How is Teacher...?”

I was surprised by her emotion. She wasn’t faking it—she genuinely cared. ”Mom is good...” I said, studying her as she seemed to relax, but only for a moment.

Maya’s face softened, but her eyes flickered with guilt. ”That’s good...” she said, her voice trailing off as she looked away, her thoughts a storm of regret and fear. I activated my Mind Reading ability, and her true feelings flooded my mind.

[I am sorry, Teacher, for what happened before... but I really had no choice...]

A backstory. A betrayal. And Maya wasn’t the villain—or at least, not by choice.

She moved her assistant aside and pulled my hand, guiding me to sit beside her. ”Come, sit here...” she said, her voice soft, almost maternal.

”It’s been a long time since I saw you... You look more handsome than before...” Her tone was warm, but there was a sadness beneath it, a weight she carried.

I noticed she didn’t treat me with malice—just kindness, like an elder to a child. She instructed her assistant, ”Rachel, bring some snacks for us to eat...”

As Rachel left, Maya turned to me, her eyes scanning my face as if searching for traces of the boy she once knew. She reached out, her fingers brushing my hair in a gesture so maternal it caught me off guard. ”You’ve grown so much...” she murmured, her voice laced with nostalgia.

I kept my Mind Reading ability focused on her, her thoughts a mix of guilt and affection.

[He turned into a fine gentleman... Teacher would be proud of him...] Then, a sad sigh.

[I could see the similarity in him... similar to Teacher... She... I don’t know... Teacher must hate me by now... for her... I am the one who stole all her clients away... but she doesn’t know... yet... Maybe it’s better that she doesn’t know... Yeah... It’s best if she doesn’t know... This is the only way I can protect Teacher...]

A tear slipped from her eye, and she wiped it instantly, her composure returning as Rachel reappeared with a tray of snacks.

Maya began offering me food, her movements gentle, almost nurturing, as if she were trying to make up for something unsaid.

”Thank you... Ms. Maya...” I said, confused by her behavior. She was treating me like a child, yet there was a depth to her actions that I couldn’t ignore.

Maya smiled softly, but her eyes were distant. ”You are calling me Ms. Maya...” she said, her voice gentle. ”Call me Aunt Maya...” Then, without hesitation, she reached out and caressed my hair, her touch warm, almost loving.

I saw Rachel’s surprise—her eyes wide, her thoughts a whirlwind of confusion.

[OMG... what happened to Boss...? Doesn’t she avoid any male contact...? She always says she has a phobia of men... Why is she doing this to this guy...?]

Maya’s thoughts were a storm of guilt and resolve.

I was shocked. Was Mom in danger? And Maya was keeping her safe? I stared at her, wondering if she was delusional—but the doubt crept in. There was something real in her fear, something buried deep that she couldn’t bring herself to reveal.

Then, the auctioneer’s voice boomed from the stage. ”The auction is getting started. Please, all of you, take your seats...”

Maya turned to me, her voice soft, almost pleading. ”Just tell me if there is anything you like... I will buy it for you...”

I shook my head, my voice polite but firm. ”Aunt Maya... there is no need to trouble you... I can handle it...”

Maya didn’t reply, but her eyes were lost, her mind a whirlwind of guilt and determination.

[Even the things he says... seem like Teacher’s words... She always said this... ’Nothing is free in this world... No one is willing to help anyone... for anything in return...’]

She bit her lip, her voice barely a whisper. ”Good...”

Then, after a few auctions, the real estate Mom had mentioned came up for bid. I started bidding, but I noticed Maya’s hand twitch—she was about to bid too. But when she saw me raise my paddle, she stopped, her assistant, Rachel, urging her in a hushed, frantic tone.

”Boss... we need to—” Rachel hissed, her voice trembling with urgency.

Maya glared at her, her voice a sharp whisper. ”Just shut up...”

I heard Maya’s thoughts, loud and clear, desperate and conflicted.

[So Teacher also wants this land... No... I can’t let Teacher have it... This will put her in danger...]

Rachel tried again, ”Boss—”

Maya bid on the land, her voice firm, but her eyes were sorry as she turned to me. ”Sorry, Dexter... but Aunt also wants this land...”

Her mind was a storm of guilt and resolve.

[I am sorry, Dexter... but I can’t let Teacher get in any danger... Because of this... This is the land they wanted... This is the only way to stop them from hurting Teacher... and protecting you and your family...]

I got the hint. Maya was under someone’s control—or someone was threatening her with Mom’s safety. But who? My father was a congressman, and Mom’s business was worth billions. Maya’s was too. Who dared threaten them?

And why didn’t that bastard Kevin tell me about it?

I didn’t bid again. I let Maya win the land. The other bidders didn’t know its true value, so they didn’t compete.

Maya sighed, her guilt evident as she looked at me, her eyes filled with sorrow. ”I am sorry, Dexter... but Aunt really needed it...”

Her thoughts were a mess of regret and fear.

[I hope he understands... I hope he doesn’t hate me... But I had to do this... For Teacher... For him...]

I nodded, my mind racing. There was more to this—more than I knew. And I wasn’t leaving until I uncovered the truth.
