Catastrophic necromancer

Chapter 4798: Schemes

Lin Moyu knew very well that if the other party came to his Language God Heaven again, he would definitely only do so after making absolutely thorough preparations, and the one who came would certainly no longer be just an avatar.

This battle had already proven that relying only on an avatar was not enough to deal with him.

The fact that he could step into the Forbidden Zone of Life had completely overturned the other side’s expectations and ruined that one’s plans.

That powerful existence, who had survived to the present from some unknown era, should have calculated everything without omission, but unfortunately ran into the variable that was Lin Moyu and miscalculated only him.

“When he comes knocking again, it will definitely be with a thunderous blow, but most likely he will not come lightly again and will choose to lure me over instead.”

“The Primordial Desolation of Chaos is a very good lure.

“He will probably stir up trouble within the Primordial Desolation of Chaos.

“That place is now Elder Sister’s heaven, and it is hard to say whether Elder Sister can fully handle it.”

“If the guess is correct, this Primordial Desolation of Chaos is also a heaven created by him, similar to a mother and child heaven, yet still somewhat different and relatively independent.

“Otherwise it would have been impossible for a supreme expert to appear within it.”

“Elder Sister has only just taken control of this heaven, and likely has not fully mastered all of the Heaven Initial Arts yet.

“Looks like action is still necessary.

“I should help out first, and that will also buy some time.”

Several drops of blood essence flew from Lin Moyu’s fingertip and gathered together, transforming into an avatar.

Now that Lin Moyu’s spirit and flesh had become one, his avatars were likewise complete individuals and, in a certain sense, no different from his true body.

A single drop of blood essence was enough to condense into one avatar.

The avatar condensed from several drops of blood essence was even stronger, and aside from some special abilities that could not be used, it possessed at least seventy to eighty percent of the true body’s battle power.

With such an avatar, many matters could be handled.

The avatar left the Language God Heaven and returned to the Primordial Desolation of Chaos.

Even after becoming the supreme expert of the Language God Heaven, Lin Moyu’s origin was still the Primordial Desolation of Chaos, and his connection with it had never been severed.

He did not need to rely on spatial passages; he could freely travel back and forth in an instant, having his own independent pathway.

The Hongmeng Gem asked, “Master, what do you plan to do next?”

Lin Moyu said, “There are many things to do.

“The Language God Heaven still needs to be further refined.

“The first great tribulation of the Language God Heaven has already passed, the Heaven’s core is about to form, and the Heaven Initial Arts of the Language God Heaven are about to appear as well.

“The Heaven Initial Arts will then merge into the Ninefold Heaven Fate Arts, allowing complete control of the Language God Heaven to be seized and Heaven’s guidance to be obtained.”

“After that, I still have to continue entering the Living Beings Chessboard to temper my Dao of Arrays, and it is about time to comprehend the rules contained within that chessboard of all beings.”

Previously there had not been enough time, so he could only choose to focus wholly on tempering his array Dao and elevating the Language God Heaven.

Now that the great tribulation of the Language God Heaven had passed, the time ahead would be much more relaxed.

As for that fellow, he would simply deal with whatever came as it came, and Lin Moyu was confident that he could stall for a period of time.

He once again separated out an avatar and sent it to the center of the Language God Heaven, where two clusters of multicolored radiance were currently being conceived.

One cluster took the form of a pagoda with nine levels and was precisely the Heaven’s core of the Language God Heaven.

The other cluster was a fist sized piece of emerald jade, which was the Heaven Initial Arts of the Language God Heaven.

Once their gestation was complete, Lin Moyu could directly refine them, marking the final step in refining the Language God Heaven.

As for the Heaven Initial Arts, they were even easier than turning over his hand for Lin Moyu.

So his true body did not need to come here; a single avatar was enough to complete these tasks.

The true body entered the Living Beings Chessboard to continue tempering the array Dao, while at the same time he split off a thread of divine sense to begin comprehending the powerful rules contained within the Living Beings Chessboard.

He had a feeling that this chessboard was not ordinary and that its degree of power far surpassed what it seemed to show on the surface.

The little tree had altered the flow of time within the Living Beings Chessboard and, after Lin Moyu achieved the Dao, the little tree had benefited greatly as well.

Now it could increase the time flow rate within the Living Beings Chessboard by fivefold.

Five years within the chessboard would only be one year outside, which also meant more time had been secured for Lin Moyu.

…

Within the Primordial Desolation of Chaos, Lin Moyu’s arrival caused the entire heaven and earth to quake.

After all, he was a supreme expert.

Even if it was only an avatar that had come, it did not change the fact that he was a supreme expert.

Fortunately, he had originated from the Primordial Desolation of Chaos; otherwise he would not have been able to enter at all.

If he had forced his way in, it would only have caused the Primordial Desolation of Chaos to collapse on the spot.

Now that there were two supreme experts present in the Primordial Desolation of Chaos at the same time, this almost exceeded what the heaven and earth could bear.

This four cycle heaven, the Primordial Desolation of Chaos, was finding it difficult to support their pressure, and the entire heaven and earth became unstable.

Lin Moyu quickly drew in his aura and reduced the pressure on the Primordial Desolation of Chaos.

A hazy figure appeared in the void as Lin Mohan’s consciousness arrived.

Her consciousness condensed and rapidly became clear minded, and Lin Mohan’s bright eyes looked at him.

“Congratulations, Little Yu, you have finally attained the Dao.”

She could already see that Lin Moyu had become a Dao attained supreme.

With her personality, she would not say much unnecessary nonsense.

Lin Moyu understood as well that in seeing Lin Mohan he only had one request: that she not urge him about children…

Right away, he cut Lin Mohan off.

“Sis, I have washed away worldly matters.”

With one step, Lin Moyu disappeared and headed toward the deepest part of the Desolation.

A hint of doubt flashed in Lin Mohan’s eyes, but she did not ask more questions and followed after Lin Moyu.

Even though she was not the supreme expert of the Primordial Desolation of Chaos, under the Ninefold Heaven Fate Arts, even the rules of the Primordial Desolation of Chaos had to make way for Lin Moyu.

The rules scattered one after another, and after just two steps Lin Moyu arrived outside the deepest part of the Desolation.

The deepest part of the Desolation was the source of this entire heaven and earth.

Every heaven had such a place, and the Language God Heaven was no exception.

However, the source of the Language God Heaven was special.

It was not some specific location, but Lin Moyu himself.

“What problem is there with this deepest part of the Desolation?”

Lin Mohan had not seen anything unusual and felt somewhat puzzled.

Lin Moyu asked, “Elder Sister, have you refined this place yet?”

Lin Mohan shook her head.

“Not yet.

“I was planning to refine this place last.

“I feel that there is something a bit unusual inside.”

She had already sensed there was something wrong with the deepest part of the Desolation.

But since every heaven had such a heaven source place, she had not paid too much attention and had planned to come here only after everything else was done.

Lin Moyu smiled.

“Elder Sister’s instincts are right.

“There is indeed something off here.

“There is a troublesome fellow inside.”

Lin Mohan’s beautiful eyes narrowed sharply, and fighting spirit surged within them.

Now that she was a supreme expert and the master of the Primordial Desolation of Chaos, the fact that someone else was present on her own turf was intolerable.

“I really want to see just how ’troublesome’ this fellow dares to be.”

She feared neither heaven nor earth and had never been afraid of causing trouble.

Whoever it was, she would still dare to draw her sword.

Lin Moyu smiled.

“Let me tell Elder Sister a story.”

He roughly explained the matters regarding the Great Annihilation and the Hongmeng heavens to Lin Mohan.

The fighting spirit in Lin Mohan’s eyes was replaced by astonishment.

Very few things could truly surprise her, but what Lin Moyu said was strange beyond belief.

Lin Mohan said, “So what you mean, Little Yu, is that the Primordial Desolation of Chaos was created by that person?”

Lin Moyu nodded.

“Of course it cannot have been entirely his doing, but it definitely cannot be separated from him.”

“But now is not the time to confront him.

“First, Elder Sister has not yet finished refining the Primordial Desolation of Chaos, and second, the Primordial Desolation of Chaos is not suitable to be the battlefield.”

In essence, the Primordial Desolation of Chaos was not strong enough.

If it became the battlefield, heaven and earth here would likely be finished once the battle ended.

This battlefield could only be placed in the Forbidden Zone of Life, and before that, Lin Moyu had to help Lin Mohan buy enough time so that she could finish refining the Primordial Desolation of Chaos and move it far, far away.

But the other side would definitely not give up the Primordial Desolation of Chaos easily, so everything could only proceed one step at a time.
