Chapter 4773: Time to Slaughter Again

The information brought by the Little Tree was extremely important.

It allowed Lin Moyu to think many things through clearly and to confirm that the Wall of Heaven and Earth was truly the final place that had to be reached.

The Wall of Heaven and Earth was the place where all universes and all things began.

It determined the life and death of universes, and at the same time, it was also the final end point of each universe.

From the Hongmeng Spirit Tree alone, one could clearly deduce that, after a Great Annihilation, when all universes collapsed, any fortunate remains that could still persist would enter the Wall of Heaven and Earth and turn into origin treasures of the universe resources for the next cycle of universal gestation.

Everything formed part of an enormous cycle.

The origin and end of this cycle both lay in the Wall of Heaven and Earth.

The Life Forbidden Zone was merely the road that led toward the Wall of Heaven and Earth.

Being able to survive within the Life Forbidden Zone was only the most basic qualification for entering the Wall of Heaven and Earth; it did not mean that merely living there was enough to actually enter it.

“If the guess is not wrong, mastering the Hongmeng Heaven and Earth is one of the necessary conditions for entering the Wall of Heaven and Earth.”

Lin Moyu was certain that his reasoning was not mistaken.

This was one of the meanings behind the existence of the Hongmeng Heaven and Earth.

To evolve a universe into the Hongmeng Heaven and Earth, the first step was to make it into a Nine Cycle universe, and this did not conflict with his previous plans.

After that, the Hongmeng Spirit Tree had to be fully grown, and it still seemed to be lacking a little.

Now, the Little Tree still had quite a distance to go before its complete maturity.

“First, let us become a Nine Cycle Heaven and Earth.

Once that is done, the foundation will be laid, and there will be a true possibility of becoming a Hongmeng Heaven and Earth.”

“As for the Little Tree… we will take it one step at a time.

If fate allows it, it will be achieved in the end.”

After one day, the Little Tree finally stopped its rapid growth.

At this moment, it was more than a hundred times larger than before, and vast swathes of void were shrouded beneath its branches and leaves, forming a region of its own.

Within this region, time and space were fully controlled by the Little Tree, making it into a hidden domain.

The Little Tree’s roots had already surrounded the Yu God Heaven and Earth, as if raising a barrier of solid defense for it within the Life Forbidden Zone.

The Destruction Power of the Life Forbidden Zone became much gentler after passing through those roots and then flowed, via the vortices, into the Yu God Heaven and Earth.

This made it far easier for the Yu God Heaven and Earth to absorb and transform that power, greatly increasing efficiency.

At this rate, within less than a hundred thousand years, the Yu God Heaven and Earth would naturally advance to a Nine Cycle universe.

A hundred thousand years was only a brief instant for a universe.

But for the present Lin Moyu, it was far too long.

By his plan, he had less than eight hundred years remaining.

If the Yu God Heaven and Earth could not advance to the Ninth Cycle within eight hundred years, then even if it managed it later, it would not be perfect, and taking the next step beyond that would become incomparably difficult.

The information from the Hongmeng Spirit Tree would not change his plans.

It only broadened what he understood.

“Thank you.”

He patted the Little Tree.

The Little Tree’s branches rustled as it swayed.

“This is what I should do.

I am still evolving, and once that evolution is complete, perhaps I can help Master even more.”

Lin Moyu smiled.

“Our plan does not change.

You continue, and I will go take a look at that universe.”

When he returned to the Ancient Chaos Wilds, Lin Mohan had already begun to busy herself with her own affairs.

As the future master of the universe, she had entirely too many things to do.

Lin Moyu took out the jade tablet given by the Fate Venerate and read the information within.

“So it is a mother child universe…”

The Hongmeng Stone had once told him about various forms a universe could take, among which there was one extremely special and rarely seen.

That form was called a mother child universe.

Simply put, it was a powerful mother universe within which another child universe appeared, forming a mother child structure.

Once a universe formed this kind of structure, all the mother universe’s channels to the outside would be closed, and it would only be connected internally to the child universe.

The child universe, however, would be the one that connected to the outside.

When such a universe collapsed and became universal remains, this structure would not change.

In fact, because of the mother universe’s presence, the child universe within would be protected and preserved in relatively intact form.

Once, a team of supremes had entered such a mother child universe’s remains, only to discover that there were still living beings within the child universe, including existences similar to supremes.

At the same time, the child universe still remained connected to the mother universe.

If one was not careful, one could step from the child universe directly into the mother universe.

Universes capable of serving as mother universes were often extremely powerful, and the danger within them was equally great.

Under this double layer of danger, the supreme exploration teams that entered usually never returned.

Of course, all this came from what the Hongmeng Stone had seen.

Many supremes did not know any of this.

They only knew that their own exploration teams had never come back.

Only a few individuals knew about the existence of mother child universe remains, and those who knew generally did not speak of it, which led to a lack of information.

How the Fate Venerate had learned of this mother child universe was also clearly stated.

He had deduced a spatial channel through the Dao of Fate and, after entering, accidentally obtained a fragment that was somewhere between metal and stone.

From that fragment he had obtained all this information.

He later secured various opportunities within, and his strength increased markedly, though he did not surpass the Great Venerate realm.

Instead, it was the Ancient Wild Ox who broke through and ascended beyond the Great Venerate.

Later, they were discovered and hunted, and in desperate straits they fled back in a wretched state.

They had escaped only thanks to the Fate Venerate’s Dao of Fate and the Ancient Wild Ox’s powerful physical body.

With both combined, they had barely managed to return alive.

“A mother universe reduced to remains, with the child universe not too badly damaged and still containing living beings.

“For a mother universe that could resist the Great Annihilation, it must at least be an Eight Cycle universe.

The child universe within is probably at least Five or even Six Cycle.”

“If there is a supreme within, it could be somewhat troublesome.”

Lin Moyu passed this information on to the Hongmeng Stone for judgment, since it had seen much more.

After reading it, the Hongmeng Stone spoke with absolute certainty.

“There will not be a supreme within the child universe.

At most, there will be an existence approaching the supreme level.

Master does not need to worry.”

Lin Moyu asked,

“Why are you so sure?”

The Hongmeng Stone replied,

“Because the rules of the mother universe will not permit it.

Once a child universe appears within a mother universe, the child universe’s rules will be influenced by those of the mother universe.

Within the child universe, the difficulty of becoming a supreme will be equivalent to that within the mother universe itself.

“This mother universe is at least an Eight Cycle Heaven and Earth, and it may even be Nine Cycle.

So far, there has never been a supreme born in any universe beyond the Seventh Cycle.

“Therefore, there is absolutely no possibility that the child universe contains a supreme.

At most, it can only harbor an existence infinitely close to the supreme level.”

“However, precisely because the mother universe is so powerful, that near supreme will not be weak.

Slaughtering those exploration teams is no problem at all for it.

But for Master, it should not be difficult to handle.”

The Hongmeng Stone’s analysis was perfectly reasoned, and Lin Moyu chose to trust its words.

“In that case, I actually hope this mother universe is a Nine Cycle better yet, a Nine Cycle at eighty percent completion.

Aside from that, is there anything else special about mother child universes?”

The Hongmeng Stone answered,

“Yes.

Mother child universes are rare.

If, during a Great Annihilation, the child universe is not completely shattered, that means the mother universe still remains relatively intact, and Master cannot directly refine the mother universe.

“So once Master enters, you must first cripple the child universe, shattering it completely into universal remains.

Only then can you go on to refine the mother universe successfully.”

After hearing this, Lin Moyu felt somewhat helpless.

“So that means I have no choice but to kill.”

There were still living beings within the child universe.

The Fate Venerate’s information had made that clear, and Lin Moyu knew he would soon be opening up another great slaughter.

The Hongmeng Stone said,

“Having endured a Great Annihilation, even the so called living beings will no longer be normal.

Master need not feel burdened.

Just kill them.”

Lin Moyu nodded.

“Very well.

But before that, I should visit my teacher.”
