Chapter 340: All Monsters Cleared, Dungeon Upgraded

Lin Moyu left the dungeon and re-entered it.

He appeared in the dungeon hall again within a few seconds, immediately catching the attention of some observant individuals.

“General Lin didn’t leave!”

“He stayed in the dungeon for more than a day without fighting. What is he doing?”

“I get it, General Lin must have just changed his profession and is practicing his skills in the dungeon.”

“But isn’t skill practice supposed to be done in the Skill Training Hall?”

“Maybe General Lin’s skills are special and need to be practiced in the dungeon?”

There were various speculations and guesses.

Lin Moyu had already started his first dungeon run after his second job change.

The Whirlwind Plains were vast, stretching as far as the eye could see.

One needed to choose a direction to move forward, and it was very likely to go the wrong way.

But for Lin Moyu, it was no problem at all.

Twenty undead armies spread out, and 12,000 skeletons charged in all directions.

The dungeon map in his mind was quickly taking shape, with unexplored areas being thoroughly investigated.

The platinum-level skeletons had a significantly increased control range.

Lin Moyu still didn’t know the maximum control range.

In the blink of an eye, the skeletons had already run 10 kilometers without reaching the limit.

15 kilometers… 20 kilometers…

Finally, the skeletons reached the edge of the dungeon.

The entire Whirlwind Plains was circular, with a radius of about 25 kilometers.

There was only one type of monster on the plains: the Wind Sprites.

They appeared in groups of three or four, scattered across the plains, totaling over a thousand. Occasionally, a few Wind Sprites existed alone.

A thousand monsters scattered across a circular plain with a radius of 25 kilometers were actually very sparse.

If a six-person team entered, it would be almost impossible to clear all the monsters on the plains. Only Lin Moyu’s undead army could achieve this.

The skeletons ran all over the plains and finally found the passage to the next stage at the edge: by this time, all the Wind Sprites on the plains had been killed.

When the four Wind Sprites guarding the passage were also cleared, there were no more monsters on the Whirlwind Plains. At this moment, the dungeon began to tremble slightly.

Lin Moyu’s mouth curled into a smile, “It’s upgraded.”

He understood that the upgrade mechanism of the Whirlwind Plains dungeon was different from the previous Fire God and Water God dungeons.

To activate the upgrade, it wasn’t about killing quickly but killing thoroughly.

As long as all the monsters on the Whirlwind Plains were killed, the dungeon would upgrade.

By this time, Lin Moyu had been in the dungeon for over an hour.

The students outside the dungeon showed disappointed expressions one by one, “It seems General Lin couldn’t trigger the dungeon upgrade this time either.”

“It seems General Lin isn’t omnipotent; there are things he can’t do.”

“After all, General Lin just had his second job change. Although he holds the title of General, his true strength is still far behind other Generals.”

“Maybe last time General Lin stayed inside the dungeon all day just to figure out how to upgrade the dungeon.” Some people made sarcastic remarks, feeling happy about Lin Moyu’s failure.

Their words were filled with jealousy.

Some people didn’t like Lin Moyu, while others spoke up for him.

“Not being able to upgrade the dungeon is normal. Upgrading a dungeon isn’t that simple; who can say for sure how the mechanisms work?”

“I’ve been to the Whirlwind Plains, and the map is ridiculously large. It’s very difficult to kill enough monsters in a short time.”

“Exactly, if you think you can do it, why don’t you try?”

Both sides had their arguments.

Suddenly, the dungeon vortex began to spin rapidly, blowing out gusts of wind, making a loud noise.

The wind swirled inside the dungeon hall, blowing outside and attracting everyone’s attention.

Those who had just thought Lin Moyu couldn’t do it widened their eyes.

The dungeon upgraded!

Lin Moyu really did it.

Those who supported Lin Moyu were all smiles.

Those who were jealous of Lin Moyu looked upset and turned away.

The passage of the Whirlwind Plains was also a gust of wind.

A gust of wind with extremely concentrated wind elements.

Lin Moyu stepped on the wind, feeling a slight softness under his feet, like stepping on cotton, a very magical feeling. The undead army had already been put away, and the wind carried him forward, faster and faster.

Lin Moyu flew up in the wind, leaving the ground far behind.

The Whirlwind Plains grew smaller and smaller in his sight until they completely disappeared.

A new plain appeared before Lin Moyu.

This plain was not large, with a diameter of only about five kilometers, much smaller than the previous Whirlwind Plains.

But this new plain was actually floating in mid-air.

Below it was a massive whirlwind, whose immense power lifted the entire plain.

Seeing this scene, Lin Moyu was filled with awe.

How immense must the power be to achieve such a feat?

The scene before him was too astonishing.

The whirlwind lifted the plain continent, like a miracle.

Now he understood the origin of the Whirlwind Plains.

The wind carried him to the plain.

As soon as he landed, a fierce whirlwind came crashing into him.

The whirlwind cut like blades, but his bone armor shone brightly, making clinking sounds as it blocked the whirlwind.

Lin Moyu took a few steps forward, ignoring the whirlwind.

Finally, he saw the plain clearly.

There were whirlwinds everywhere, densely packed.

“No monsters?”

Lin Moyu suddenly looked at the whirlwinds constantly crashing into him and realized that these were the enemies.

He used his detection skill.

[Whirlwind Sprite (Hell-level Elite Monster)]

[Level: 44]

[Strength: 40,000]

[Agility: 40,000]

[Spirit: 10,000]

[Vitality: 50,000]

[Skill: Whirlwind Attack]

[Characteristic: Wind Element Immunity, Physical Immunity.]

With the dungeon upgrade, the monsters inside also became stronger.

The level 44 Hell-level elite monsters had a total attribute of 140,000.

With 50,000 vitality, plus wind element and physical immunity.

The Skeleton Berserkers were completely useless.

The Skeleton Sharpshooters’ attack power was greatly reduced.

Fortunately, there were still the Skeleton Mages.

Moreover, these pure elemental monsters had no corpses, so Corpse Explosion couldn’t be used.

Lin Moyu, being experienced, knew he could only clear them one by one.

With a thought, the undead army appeared.

4,000 Skeleton Mages began clearing the monsters.

With the Lich General’s enhancement, a few Elemental Explosions could kill a Whirlwind Sprite.

The team advanced rapidly, and Lin Moyu, regardless of the difficulty, continued to push forward.

Wherever the undead army went, the Whirlwind Sprites were quickly cleared.

In the distance, Lin Moyu saw a floating palace behind hundreds of Whirlwind Sprites.

Huge stones also floated in mid-air, forming a suspended passage to the palace.

The undead army pushed forward and quickly reached the passage.

The skeletons jumped onto the stones and advanced towards the palace.

Lin Moyu’s agility attribute had greatly increased. Although not as high as the Skeleton Berserkers and Skeleton Sharpshooters, it was still much higher than the Skeleton Mages.

He also jumped up, moving between the stones, heading towards the palace.

Just as he jumped onto the platform outside the palace, a huge palm came at him.

The palm was several times larger than Lin Moyu, with a whirlwind howling in its center, like a sharp blade.

Lin Moyu didn’t dodge. Several Skeleton Berserkers appeared beside him, simultaneously unleashing their skills, wielding giant axes to counter the palm.

With several loud bangs, the giant axes, glowing with a crimson light, collided with the giant palm.

A scream rang out, and the giant palm, bleeding profusely, quickly retreated.

Lin Moyu saw a huge tiger-shaped monster standing in front of the palace.

The tiger-shaped monster was nearly ten meters tall, with bristling fur and a tail pointing straight to the sky, baring its teeth at him.

It was surrounded by a whirlwind, with wind elements so concentrated they appeared blue.

Like divine weapons, they cut through the air.

[Whirlwind Tiger (Hell-level Elite Leader)]

[Level: 45]

[Strength: 60,000]

[Agility: 50,000]

[Spirit: 20,000]

[Vitality: 50,000]

[Skills: Whirlwind Claw, Gale Strike]

[Characteristics: Wind Element Immunity, Physical Damage Halved, Enhanced Vitality, Enhanced Speed]

After glancing at its attributes, Lin Moyu no longer paid attention.

Its attributes were not even comparable to a lord-level BOSS, not worth his attention.

The Whirlwind Tiger launched an attack at Lin Moyu, charging at him with incredible speed.

With the speed enhancement characteristic, its already high agility, and the wind element’s boost, it moved at extreme speed.

It created afterimages, moving beyond Lin Moyu’s visual limit, making it difficult to track its exact position.

But Lin Moyu didn’t need to track its position.

With a hum, a red light flashed.

Skill: Aging Curse!

No need to aim, the 5,000-meter range after amplification was enough to cover the entire palace, even the entire floating plain. The Whirlwind Tiger immediately slowed down, moving in slow motion under the multiple speed reductions.

A blood-red sword appeared above its head, with a shackle hanging from the hilt.

Two curses combined into one.

In the next second, the Skeleton Mages and Skeleton Sharpshooters attacked simultaneously.
