Chapter 339: The Brand New Undead Army, Experimenting with Skills

Lin Moyu didn’t care about the people outside. He kept practicing skills inside the dungeon.

Now with unlimited spirit, it didn’t matter where he practiced.

The training speed was only related to his casting speed.

The higher the skill level, the slower the training.

In just 1 hour, Lin Moyu had already raised the “Summon Skeleton Sharpshooter” skill to level 10.

Then it took another 3 hours to train it to level 20.

After that, it became slower and slower.

From level 30 to 40, a simple task, Lin Moyu spent nearly 15 hours training.

If not for his talent, even with his spirit recovery speed plus the Great Earth Dragon God’s meat, it would still take many days.

In total, it took around 26 hours for Lin Moyu to raise the Summon Skeleton Sharpshooter skill to level 40.

“The training was still a bit slow, the casting speed wasn’t fast enough.”

“Fortunately, my recovery speed was fast enough!”

For more than a day, he cast skills non-stop without feeling any fatigue.

The 40-fold recovery speed allowed him to maintain vigorous energy.

It took more than a day to train a skill from level 1 to 40.

In Lin Moyu’s eyes, this was already slow.

If the casting speed could be faster, the training speed would further increase.

Now the casting speed determined the training speed.

Some equipment could increase casting speed, but Lin Moyu couldn’t use any of it.

He couldn’t help but feel a bit of regret.

If others knew he still thought this speed was slow, they would definitely sneer at him.

The platinum-level Skeleton Sharpshooter had a similar physique to the Skeleton Mage, both slightly smaller than the Skeleton Warrior.

It held a bow covered in bone spikes, with a bowstring made of unknown material.

It didn’t carry any physical arrows.

The Skeleton Sharpshooter used energy arrows, not needing physical ones.

Crackling sounds came from the sturdy bow, accompanied by flickering lights, looking extraordinary.

[Platinum-level Skeleton Sharpshooter]

[Level: 40]

[Strength: 60,000]

[Agility: 80,000]

[Spirit: 60,000]

[Vitality: 60,000]

[Skill: Soul Lock]

[Soul Lock (Passive): Attacks are guaranteed to hit.]

The Skeleton Sharpshooter’s attributes were weaker than the Skeleton Warrior but comparable to the Skeleton Mage. Its skill was quite peculiar, being a passive skill.

When Lin Moyu saw its passive skill, he felt a surge of joy.

“Finally, there’s a way to deal with those guys from the Abyss and the Dragon Race.”

Back in the Abyss, Lin Moyu was attacked from a distance by the Abyss Sword Demons.

Although the Skeleton Mages could retaliate, the effect was minimal.

In the end, Lin Moyu couldn’t do anything about them.

If he replaced the Skeleton Mages with Skeleton Sharpshooters, combined with their passive skill, the result would definitely be different.

At this moment, Lin Moyu couldn’t wait to try out how powerful the Skeleton Sharpshooters were.

Sometimes, one couldn’t just look at attributes but also the actual effects.

Lin Moyu didn’t move or leave the dungeon. He began summoning skeletons in batches.

To do a good job, one must first prepare the tools. Even for leveling, he had to first replenish his Undead Army.

With the increased summoning space, the Undead Army needed to be expanded to fill the gaps.

He summoned non-stop, taking over an hour to fully replenish.

Outside the dungeon, there weren’t many people still waiting.

Lin Moyu had been inside for over a day without coming out, so some thought he had left.

Leaving the dungeon didn’t necessarily mean going through the Dungeon Palace.

Some could directly teleport out from inside.

But the record hadn’t changed, and the dungeon hadn’t upgraded, indicating Lin Moyu hadn’t cleared it.

However, some people were still patiently waiting.

Inside the dungeon, Lin Moyu spent another hour.

Finally, he had fully replenished his Undead Army.

A total of 20 Undead Armies, each with 600 skeletons.

200 Berserkers, 200 Mages, and 200 Sharpshooters each.

A total of 12,000 skeletons.

It looked formidable and terrifying. Lin Moyu felt it was even stronger than the Dragon Army he had faced before.

“Let’s try it out.”

After standing for a day and a half, Lin Moyu finally moved, leading the Undead Army deeper into the dungeon.

Soon, he saw a group of monsters.

A Wind Elemental Sprite was floating in mid-air.

Three identical sprites surrounded it.

A group of monsters.

Lin Moyu’s heart stirred, and the Lich General raised its staff to cast a buff.

Skill: Army Reinforcement!

[Army Reinforcement (0%)]

All members of the Undead Army had their attributes soar.

Four Skeleton Sharpshooters had already locked onto the targets.

Four sharp arrows materialized and shot out at lightning speed.

The speed was so fast that Lin Moyu felt it was like a flash of lightning, unable to see it clearly with his eyes.

From his perspective, the arrows had already hit their targets the moment they left the bows.

Slightly startled, he quickly used Detect.

[Wind Sprite (Enhanced Elite Monster)]

[Level: 43]

[Strength: 20,000]

[Agility: 30,000]

[Spirit: 30,000]

[Vitality: 30,000]

[Skill: Whirlwind Ball]

[Property: Immune to wind elemental attacks, physical damage reduced by 50%]

The Wind Sprite wasn’t a pure elemental monster, not completely immune to physical attacks.

Moreover, the Skeleton Sharpshooter’s attack didn’t seem to be purely physical, containing a certain electric elemental component. It was a composite attack.

Bang!

The four sharp arrows hit simultaneously, making only one sound.

Receiving the attack, the Wind Sprites quickly reacted.

Their agility attribute of 30,000 wasn’t low, and their reaction speed was also fast.

In front of the four Wind Sprites, a large amount of wind elemental energy gathered, rapidly forming a whirlwind ball.

Bang!

Another synchronized collision sound.

In less than a second, the Sharpshooters’ second round of attacks had already hit the targets.

The Wind Sprites’ skills were instantly interrupted, causing them to freeze momentarily.

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

Another four consecutive attacks landed.

In the short second or so that the Wind Sprites were interrupted and frozen, the Sharpshooters attacked four times in a row.

[Kill]

[Kill]

Four kill prompts appeared, and the four Wind Sprites had been killed.

“After receiving the Army Reinforcement buff, the attack frequency is three arrows per second.”

“Basically the same as the Skeleton Warrior’s attack frequency, slightly faster than the Skeleton Mage.”

“The attack power is quite decent. Although not as strong as the Skeleton Warrior, it can achieve long-range locked-on strikes with 100% accuracy, making it more efficient.”

Lin Moyu quickly calculated and found that the Skeleton Sharpshooter’s attack efficiency might even surpass the Skeleton Warrior’s.

Next, he tried out the new skill of the Skeleton Mages.

The Elemental Explosion didn’t have a flight trajectory but directly exploded on the target. It also possessed the lock-on ability.

Moreover, the explosion would cause damage within a 10-meter radius, having an area-of-effect attack capability.

Whether it was the Sharpshooter’s attacks or the Skeleton Mage’s attacks, they couldn’t be dodged.

Once locked on, the only option was to endure.

The Skeleton Mage’s skill was very powerful. To kill a level 43 Wind Sprite, the Sharpshooter needed 6 arrows, while the Skeleton Mage’s Elemental Explosion only needed 3 casts.

The two were equally efficient, with the Sharpshooter taking two seconds for 6 arrows, and the Skeleton Mage taking two seconds for 3 casts. However, in terms of sheer power, the Skeleton Warrior was still the strongest.

The new “Berserker Onslaught” skill could instantly kill a level 43 Dream difficulty Wind Sprite.

After experimenting with the Undead Army, Lin Moyu began experimenting with his new skills.

With his spirit attribute greatly increased and skill levels raised, coupled with the double amplification, the power of Soul Flame and Bone Spikes was correspondingly amplified.

The Toxic Starburst was also very useful. Combined with the Aging Curse, it could perfectly achieve group kills.

Even without the Undead Army, Lin Moyu himself possessed formidable killing power.

If the Undead Army cooperated with the Aging Curse, they could instantly kill everything in this Dream difficulty dungeon.

The Skeleton Sharpshooters shooting at cursed Wind Sprites was like shooting birds.

One arrow, one kill.

After the experiments, Lin Moyu was very clear about his own combat strength. He took a deep breath.

“Time to seriously clear the dungeon.”

He had spent too much time in the Wind Elemental Dungeon, and clearing the Dream difficulty was meaningless.

He withdrew the Undead Army and decisively exited the dungeon, resetting the time before re-entering.

Time to officially clear the dungeon.
