Chapter 109: Skeleton Warriors Countered, What to Do? Asking Online

The 6 Dragon Mages cast skills to control the skeleton warriors that had charged in.

It wasn’t just the Dragon Mages controlling the skeleton warriors.

The Dragon Spearmen’s skills also affected them. Those few skeleton warriors were currently under double control.

Wind Shackles and stunned state.

The Dragon Spearmen had some intelligence.

They used their skills one after another, keeping the skeleton warriors constantly controlled with no chance to fight back.

Lin Moyu recalled the dungeon introduction.

They had weak intelligence.

Unlike monsters in other dungeons that acted purely on instinct.

Weak intelligence allowed them to use some simple tactics.

If Lin Moyu only had these few skeletons, it would really be difficult to fight.

Fortunately…

Lin Moyu was grateful he had enough skeletons.

After understanding the situation, he didn’t wait any longer.

Large numbers of skeletons immediately surged forward.

The sudden appearance of skeleton warriors disrupted the Dragon Spearmen’s attack rhythm.

It threw them into chaos for a moment.

The Dragon Spearmen quickly fought back, constantly stunning the skeleton warriors.

The skeleton warriors surrounded the Dragon Spearmen, preventing them from charging through.

But due to the stunned state, they also couldn’t attack.

The outer skeleton warriors couldn’t get in, the inner ones couldn’t move.

They could only silently endure the Dragon Spearmen’s attacks.

Some Dragon Spearmen leapt high, trying to break out of the skeleton warriors’ encirclement.

The skeleton warriors on the outside also jumped up at the same time.

Those inside wanted out, those outside wanted in.

They collided in mid-air and fell back to their original positions.

Fire! Ice! Lightning! Storms!

The skeleton mages following closely rained down massive spells, completely suppressing the Dragon Spearmen.

Suddenly, the sky turned red as a huge rain of fire fell, covering almost all the skeleton mages.

The Dragon Mage monsters had attacked the skeleton mages.

They ignored the skeleton warriors and directly attacked the skeleton mages.

This also showed they had intelligence.

They had intelligence, but not much.

The skeleton mages had the Elemental Resistance passive skill, increasing elemental damage resistance by 300%, reducing damage taken by 3 times.

Damage that would originally deal 1000 points now only dealt 333.

The skeleton mages’ 7200 constitution wasn’t too low either, they couldn’t be killed in one hit.

Enduring the fire rain attacks, the skeleton mages focused fire on the Dragon Spearmen.

Two rounds of skills, no more than five seconds, and a Dragon Spearman died with a miserable scream.

Lin Moyu charged over under the protection of his constantly flashing Bone Armor, withstanding the fire rain.

A hundred meters away, within range of Corpse Explosion, he raised his palm.

Skill: Corpse Explosion!

An explosion rang out.

Accompanied by the Dragon Spearmen’s screams.

Many Dragon Spearmen were blasted into the air, already dead before they landed.

Experience notifications popped up like a flood.

Along with lots of dragon materials.

But they were all dragon hides. None of the four dragon materials Bai Yiyuan requested were obtained.

Lin Moyu thought either the drop rate was low, or Dragon Spearmen simply didn’t drop them.

The silvery-white glow of Bone Armor was dazzling.

With defense equivalent to 64,000 constitution, it allowed Lin Moyu to stand firm in the fire rain, completely unafraid.

Two more violent explosions followed.

There were no more Dragon Spearmen standing.

The skeleton mages immediately targeted the Dragon Mages.

[Dragon Mage (Hell Difficulty Elite Monster)]

[Strength: 5000]

[Agility: 3000]

[Spirit: 12000]

[Constitution: 8000]

[Skills: Wind Shackles, Raining Fire]

Indeed it was Wind Shackles.

The signature control skill of support mages.

Miao Yu had demonstrated this skill on Mermaid Island.

The 6 Dragon Mages had lower constitution than the Dragon Spearmen. Under the skeleton mages’ bombardment, they were quickly killed.

[Killed Dragon Mage]

[Obtained Dragon Hide]

[Killed Dragon Mage]

[Obtained Dragon Hide]

…

[Obtained Dragon Horn]

Six notifications in a row.

One caught Lin Moyu’s attention.

“Dragon Horn.”

With the storage space sealed, he couldn’t check it.

But the notification wasn’t wrong, he had indeed obtained a Dragon Horn.

Out of 6 Dragon Mages, only one dropped a Dragon Horn.

This was one of the four materials Bai Yiyuan wanted.

“Looks like the drop rate really isn’t high.”

Lin Moyu felt one dungeon run probably wouldn’t be enough to collect all the materials.

He might need to run it repeatedly.

The skeleton warriors finally recovered from their stunned state.

Lin Moyu recalled the more heavily injured skeleton warriors into his summoning space.

They could recover quickly in there.

He also recalled the skeleton mages.

They had taken some damage in the fire rain earlier.

Lin Moyu didn’t rush to advance.

After running so many dungeons, this was the first time Lin Moyu rested during a dungeon clear.

He had always steamrolled through before.

He pondered the skeleton warriors’ previous situation.

140 skeleton warriors with super high attributes, facing Dragon Spearmen with clearly weaker attributes, yet had no way to fight back.

The Dragon Spearmen with area attack ability had a 20-second stun effect on their skills.

It completely controlled the skeleton warriors.

If it continued, the skeleton warriors would most likely be wiped out.

If he had acted a bit later earlier, the few skeleton warriors that charged into the woods would have died.

Since summoning skeleton warriors, the only time they had been at risk of death was in the West Sea Mine dungeon.

It had never happened again after that.

This led him to always think skeleton warriors were invincible in melee.

Now he realized that wasn’t the case at all.

The skeleton warriors’ invincibility was based on their super high attributes.

But once the enemy had powerful control skills, the skeleton warriors’ attributes became useless.

The best result would be lasting a bit longer, dying more slowly.

Skeleton warriors had flaws.

On the surface, unless he could also have corresponding counter-skills.

He was only level 22 now, and temporarily couldn’t get new skills.

He could only work with his current skills.

After pondering for a while, he came up with a countermeasure.

Though not the optimal solution, it could solve some problems.

At least it wouldn’t be an issue dealing with the previous situation.

“The level 30 skill better not disappoint.”

He got Corpse Explosion at level 10, Summon Skeleton Mage at level 20.

The level 30 skill shouldn’t be bad.

After resting for a while, he summoned the skeleton mages again from his summoning space.

The skeleton mages’ injuries had fully recovered.

The team continued to advance.

A squad appeared before them.

6 Dragon Spearmen formed a line, patrolling.

There were no Dragon Mages present.

Actually, the Dragon Spearmen and Mages earlier had been scattered. It was because he charged in too quickly that the skeletons got surrounded.

Learn from mistakes.

This time Lin Moyu had learned his lesson.

So the skeleton warriors charged out again.

If they wanted to gang up, Lin Moyu decided to surround them instead.

Just two skeleton warriors charged extremely fast. With their agility advantage, they pulled the Dragon Spearmen far behind, not giving them a chance to get close.

At the same time, Lin Moyu carefully watched for Dragon Mages.

As long as they weren’t bound by Dragon Mage spells, the Dragon Spearmen couldn’t attack the skeleton warriors.

This time they didn’t charge into the woods, just ran along the main road.

After pulling several dozen Dragon Spearmen, the skeleton warriors quickly returned.

“Get ready!”

At Lin Moyu’s command, all the skeleton mages prepared.

When the Dragon Spearmen entered spell range, Lin Moyu’s palm glowed red.

Skill: Slow Curse.

A huge crimson net fell from the sky, as if to envelop the entire dungeon.

With a loud buzz, massive red shackles appeared simultaneously on all the charging Dragon Spearmen.

[Slow Curse (Level 22): Curses enemies within 110 meters, reducing their speed by 110% for 1 minute.]

After amplification, the skill range reached 3300 meters.

Speed reduced by 3300%, a full 33 times.

All the Dragon Spearmen instantly slowed down.

They had been sprinting just now, but now moved like slow motion replay.

Even though their agility wasn’t low, still having speed no less than level 20 career holders.

But in Lin Moyu’s eyes, they were too slow.

The skeleton mages began to focus fire.

The skeleton warriors all moved out, directly activating skills.

At their current speed, by the time they reached him, the skeleton mages would have launched two rounds of attacks.

With the skeleton warriors blocking, they had no chance of breaking through.

As long as one was killed, the rest could basically be instantly killed.

Suddenly, Lin Moyu’s eyes widened as he involuntarily blurted out.

“Holy crap!”
