Chapter 98: Just Behave and Don’t Court Death

The skeleton army appeared, bringing gusts of cold wind that lowered the temperature by several degrees.

“Holy crap!”

“These are Big Brother Lin’s summons.”

“Undead summons, no wonder he’s called a Necromancer. But isn’t this number too many?”

“Is this Big Brother Lin’s career? This must be a legendary career, right?”

“I think it’s beyond legendary. I’ve never heard of this kind of career before.”

“There must be about 200 of them, with both warriors and mages. Amazing.”

“So scary!”

Everyone exclaimed in awe.

Some of the more timid ones were so frightened they stumbled back several steps and fell to the ground.

The skeleton army set out, with Lin Moyu walking ahead.

Everyone hurriedly followed, still marveling.

They had truly broadened their horizons, never imagining such a career existed.

This was the definition of one man becoming an army.

Soon the skeleton warriors encountered a desert ghost tree.

A super enhanced elite monster.

In their eyes, it was an extremely powerful existence.

Not much weaker than a boss in a Nightmare dungeon.

Even a 40-person team would take half a minute to kill it.

“Last time I came with a team, it was this desert ghost tree. It took us a full two minutes to kill it.”

“Same here. This monster is too tough. Its constitution is super high and its strength is high too. Even our knights couldn’t tank it.”

“I wonder how many of Lin Moyu’s skeletons will have to die to kill it.”

In their eyes, the skeletons weren’t strong.

They estimated several would have to die to defeat it.

The skeleton warriors charged at the desert ghost tree.

The tree’s withered branches attacked rapidly, but the skeletons swung their blades, cutting off all the branches.

Then their blades fell on the desert ghost tree like lightning.

The skeleton mages’ spells followed closely.

Dozens of spells rained down.

The desert ghost tree fell with a miserable cry.

Everyone was stunned.

They couldn’t believe it.

But the experience notification didn’t lie – they had indeed gained experience.

“It’s over?”

“The battle didn’t even last 3 seconds, and it’s already over?”

“Is this for real? This was a super enhanced elite monster, and it was killed just like that?”

“My goodness, how high must Big Brother Lin’s skeletons’ attributes be?”

Lin Moyu looked at the less than 10,000 experience and shook his head with a wry smile.

There’s always a trade-off. He could get 300,000 experience alone.

Now bringing 39 people, he only got a few thousand.

But it was fine. He exchanged it for 39,000 points, which was worth it when he thought about it.

With points, was experience still a problem?

At worst he could run it a few more times himself and get everything.

Moreover, points could be used to buy skill scrolls.

Junior skill scrolls cost 800 points each.

Intermediate skill scrolls cost 80,000 points each.

Without skill scrolls, what about his skills?

His career wasn’t like others – no skill books, no inheritance, everything relied on himself.

Lin Moyu had figured it out. Points were extremely important for him.

Since that was the case, he would try to earn as much as possible.

He led everyone forward quickly.

Everyone witnessed how Lin Moyu’s skeletons easily slaughtered the desert ghost trees, basically instant kills.

Monsters of this level were nothing before Lin Moyu.

Until they reached the oasis.

The skeleton warriors ran forward dragging large numbers of desert giant scorpions.

Lin Moyu followed behind.

The career holders behind also followed.

“What is Big Brother Lin trying to do?”

“Goodness, how many monsters is he going to pull?”

“There are already over a hundred, and still increasing.”

“Is he planning to use the skeleton mages’ skills for mass killing?”

“Probably. I noticed earlier that the wind and ice skeleton mages have area attack skills.”

Everyone was excited and thrilled, following Lin Moyu all the way.

They ran like this for a full 20 minutes. The desert giant scorpions behind the skeleton warriors had reached over 200.

People started to worry.

If the skeletons were defeated, would they have to flee for their lives?

At that point, there would be no choice but to exit the dungeon.

Seeing Lin Moyu’s calm expression, they could only choose to believe in him.

High mountains and cliffs appeared before them.

They had finally reached the ant nest.

The skeleton warriors finally turned to engage the desert giant scorpions in battle.

Seeing the constant experience notifications, everyone realized the skeleton warriors’ combat power far exceeded their imagination.

At this rate, it was only a matter of time before all the desert scorpions were killed.

But this way, there seemed to be no need to pull them all together to fight.

Until they reached the battlefield.

Lin Moyu raised his palm.

Skill: Corpse Explosion!

With a huge boom, yellow sand shot into the sky, swirling in the air.

The sand rained down like rain.

Then more huge explosions followed, blasting up more sand. The light rain turned into a downpour.

The sudden explosions startled everyone.

Some people were so frightened they fell to the ground.

“Is this thunder? How can there be explosions?”

“What’s happening up front?”

“You… you guys, look at the experience!”

Someone screamed.

Experience notifications popped up frantically.

Desert giant scorpions died in batches.

They never imagined it could be like this.

The explosions rang out ten times in a row before stopping.

When the sand finally cleared, they saw clearly.

All the desert giant scorpions were dead.

“Too fast, how did he do it?”

“When we just arrived, there were at least 150 desert giant scorpions left. How did they all die in the blink of an eye?”

“What skill was that explosion just now? How can it be so powerful?”

“Too scary. No wonder Lin Moyu can clear so fast. This skill is too terrifying.”

Lin Moyu ignored their words and continued leading the team forward.

They saw cacti, still without desert fruits.

Bai Yiyuan was right, the chance of desert fruits appearing was indeed low.

The skeletons quickly cleared the young ants at the cave entrance. Lin Moyu said to everyone, “Don’t come in.”

“Wait here until I clear all the monsters and call you.”

As he spoke, the skeleton warriors had already charged in.

Everyone responded, “Okay okay, we’ll wait here.”

“Take your time, Big Brother Lin. No rush.”

It had only been a little over 3 hours since entering the dungeon.

This speed was already beyond their imagination.

Other teams would take over 10 or 20 hours. The efficiency was simply worlds apart.

Moreover, Lin Moyu was carrying 39 people. Who would believe it if they said it?

Lin Moyu entered the ant nest alone, leaving 39 people outside staring at each other.

After waiting for over 10 minutes, someone suddenly said, “Should we pull a monster to fight?”

“Don’t court death. None of the monsters here are easy to deal with.”

“I saw Lin Moyu killing them easily. These monsters don’t seem as tough as we thought.”

“He’s him and you’re you. Completely different.”

“We’re all career holders. Even if there’s a gap, it shouldn’t be that big, right?”

After some debate, they finally decided to pull a young ant to fight.

Several knights stepped forward, with support adding buffs.

They cautiously entered the ant nest, not taking the same entrance as Lin Moyu.

Soon, the knights ran back, followed by two young ants.

“We accidentally pulled two.”

“Healers prepare to heal, mages warriors and archers, get ready to attack!”

The knights shouted as they ran.

After running back into the healers’ range, they turned to attack the young ants.

They didn’t forget to use the knight’s signature skill: Taunt.

Focusing the young ants’ attention completely on themselves.

Everyone’s skills rained down on the young ants.

The young ants also began attacking the knights.

With a bang, a knight was directly knocked back by the huge force.

The terrifying power made his bones tremble.

“Such a strong attack! Healers, heal!”

The healers immediately healed the knight.

The young ant’s second attack followed, knocking the knight back again.

“Damn, how is it so powerful!”

“DPS, where’s the DPS!”

“Stop yelling, we’re attacking!”

“Just tank the monster properly, we’re outputting damage.”

The knight was speechless. He did see many attacks landing on the young ant, but the ant didn’t even react. These attacks seemed to just be tickling it.

Looking at the other side, the other knight wasn’t faring any better.

He finally realized that just because Lin Moyu could fight so easily didn’t mean they could too.

Their team had uneven levels, equipment and skills.

There was no proper coordination to speak of.

Of course it was difficult to fight.

After several minutes of grinding, everyone finally managed to kill the two young ants with great effort.

The knights collapsed on the ground, panting heavily. “So hard to kill.”

“The monsters here are too abnormal.”

“Harder than any dungeon I’ve run before.”

“Of course. Otherwise why would it be a dungeon requiring 40 people? Large dungeons aren’t a joke.”

“Let’s just behave and not move. Wait for Big Brother Lin to call us.”

“I won’t move again even if you kill me. Good thing it was only two just now. If there was one more, I suspect we would have been wiped out.”

Lin Moyu saw the experience notifications and guessed what they were doing.

“They really can’t sit still.”

He didn’t bother with them. These people courting death was none of his business.
