What if your Honkai Star Rail was like this?

Chapter 408: Chapter 407: My Aha!

The Titan spawn (panicked): Awoo awoo awoo!

After being roared at by Aglaea like that, the remaining Titan spawn scattered in all directions. In just a few seconds they were all gone without a trace. The entire Castrum Kremnos returned to calm once more.

”Hmph. A bunch of cowards.”

Anaxa looked at the fleeing Titan spawn and said disdainfully.

Duang!

As soon as the words left his mouth, Aglaea’s wheelchair slammed straight into him from behind, sending Anaxa crashing into a pile of ruins on the spot and leaving only his two legs sticking out.

”Ah ya, I was going too fast. I couldn’t brake in time.”

Aglaea pretended to be surprised as she covered her small mouth and said: ”Speaking of which, did you defeat those Titan spawn? You even called for backup?”

”Aglaea!!”

Anaxa was furious: ”Did I beg you to help just now? Even without you, I could crush these scum with one punch after another. Don’t think too highly of yourself!”

Aglaea laughed: ”Heh. I’m too lazy to reason with you. You don’t deserve to listen.”

Aglaea was in an extremely good mood right now. Her new invention had succeeded in its first battle and had even played a practical role——Anaxa could no longer react to her speed.

Even though she had just cleared countless Titan spawn in one go, it still wasn’t as satisfying as solidly crashing the wheelchair into Anaxa.

Anaxa: ”Sweep away all nations······”

——”Eh eh eh!”

Phainon timely stepped between the two and quickly acted as lubricant, stopping the two who were about to start internal conflict. He smiled and said: ”Teachers, I have a small suggestion. Your strengths were originally on par with each other. Deciding a winner isn’t an easy matter.”

”If you waste all your strength on your own people, you’ll inevitably be taken advantage of by Nikador. Why not change direction——let’s compete to see who kills Nikador first and takes his Coreflame.”

Phainon pointed at the two roads extending from the city gate: ”The battle achievements along the way will be witnessed by me and the Trailblazer. I’ll take the left road with Teacher Anaxa, and Teacher Aglaea will take the right road with partner.”

”To add a bit of fun to this competition, the loser has to promise the winner one thing. Of course, on the premise that it doesn’t harm others’ interests. How about it?”

Anaxa snorted and turned his head to the side: ”I don’t mind. I’m just afraid a certain big-breasted, brainless woman won’t dare to agree.”

Aglaea crossed her arms: ”Heh. After witnessing my speed you still dare to accept this kind of challenge. Man, you’ve successfully caught my interest.”

Seeing both of them agree, Phainon quickly struck while the iron was hot: ”In that case, why don’t we start now?”

Aglaea/Anaxa: ”Doesn’t matter. Either way is fine.”

Phainon smiled: ”Then, three, two······”

Aglaea suddenly grabbed Stelle’s arm.

Stelle: ???

”···One?”

Whoosh——

Stelle only felt a strong sense of weightlessness. One-tenth of a second later, she had already been carried into the sky by Aglaea.

On the other side, Anaxa straightforwardly shouldered Phainon and charged forward at the front!

Stelle/Phainon: ”Wait, wait a second, Aglaea/Anaxa, I’m not ready yet aaaaaah——!”

·····

After driving the high-speed wheelchair and rampaging through the city for several minutes, Aglaea suddenly slowed down. Her breathing was somewhat rapid. She was just about to open her mouth and say something when her expression suddenly changed!

In an instant, Aglaea’s entire body began trembling like a sieve. She subconsciously clutched her head with both hands, gritted her teeth, as if enduring some immense pain.

”Aglaea? Aglaea?!”

Seeing this, Stelle was shocked and said worriedly: ”What’s wrong with you? Where do you feel uncomfortable? Do you have any emergency medication? What can I do to help you?”

Aglaea held her head with both hands, her voice squeezed out from between her teeth: ”It’s··· nothing. I··· I··· can··· endure it······”

”This is··· the side effect of inheriting [Reason]. Humanity loss······”

Stelle: ”Hang in there. You can get through it··· Ah? What did you just say? Humanity loss?”

Aglaea: ”Yes. That’s why, that’s why I need to hurry up and separate from Anaxagoras to avoid making a fool of myself.”

Stelle: ”Then do you feel uncomfortable?”

Aglaea: ”A little uncomfortable in my heart. Does that count?”

Stelle: ”······”

She poked Aglaea’s head unhappily: ”Wasn’t the humanity loss already introduced earlier? If you don’t feel uncomfortable then what’s with this reaction? You made me worry for nothing. Losing humanity should turn you into a god, not a neurotic.”

However, Aglaea still looked like she was enduring something and said: ”Who said that after losing humanity what remains is divinity? You’re just as much of an idiot as Anaxagoras. Ugh······”

Before she finished speaking, Aglaea suddenly grabbed her own neck tightly with both hands and muttered: ”Anything is fine, but not this! No matter what, I don’t want to become that kind of appearance······”

Countless question marks popped up above Stelle’s head: ???

No, what kind of situation is this?

There’s no such setting in the normal plot, right? Did Aha make a move again?

Aglaea’s endurance seemed to have reached its limit. Then, under Stelle’s dazed gaze, she let out a very familiar sound:

”Buzz buzz, wuu buzz! Buzz——!”

Stelle: ??? ×999

This, this is the Earth Beast’s cry, isn’t it?! Aglaea, why are you suddenly imitating an Earth Beast?

Don’t you know that this face of yours and what you’re doing don’t match at all, not even by nine-tenths?

Wait······

Suddenly a light bulb went off in Stelle’s mind. Wait a second. Aglaea just said her ”humanity is starting to be lost again” and ”who said that losing humanity leaves only divinity”···

Then, if a person loses their humanity and what remains isn’t divinity, and this person suddenly starts imitating Earth Beasts······ the answer is obvious!

So in this version, after Aglaea loses her humanity, what remains is beast nature?!

My Aha!

No wonder from Aglaea’s words and actions earlier there wasn’t even half a trace of the appearance one should have after losing humanity. It turns out divinity never existed from the beginning?

No wonder [Reason] would fight at the drop of a hat just like [Strife]. It turns out it was influenced by beast nature!

No wonder the moment Snowy’s countdown ended, Aglaea flew out with her. If she didn’t hurry and distance herself from Anaxa, once Aglaea’s Earth Beast cry came out, wouldn’t Anaxa directly resonate with the Coreflame in the void?

A rare blush appeared on Aglaea’s fair and pretty face. ”I’m really sorry buzz. You saw my embarrassing state buzz. But don’t worry buzz, I have a set of special big memory erasure technique buzz that can help you completely forget this lifetime’s memories buzz.”

”It doesn’t hurt at all buzz. Miss Trailblazer buzz, come buzz, come over buzz······”

Stelle panicked: ”Wait, wait a second! I didn’t see or hear anything! You, you don’t come over!!!”
