Chapter 402: Chapter 401: Studying Medicine Can’t Save Okhema

Little Black Shadow: ”Dudu? (What should we do? How about we just charge straight out from outside? Watch this great one ram open this window with one head and fly out directly!)”

Big Black Shadow let out a ”tsk”: ”Idiot. If we do that, wouldn’t it ruin our reputation as master thieves? And if we steal things while also tearing the place apart, how is that any different from robbery?”

”Hmm······ I’ve got it! Watch me!”

·····

Not long after, the guards had finished checking most areas of the room and began reporting back:

Guard No. 1, after searching under the bed: ”No one here, boss.”

Guard No. 2, after searching the wardrobe: ”No one here, boss.”

Guard No. 3, after searching the bathtub: ”No one here, boss.”

Guard No. 4, after searching the ceiling: ”No one here, boss.”

”Guard No. 5” walked out from the corner: ”No one here, boss.”

Guard Captain: ?

Impossible. [Gold Lion] gentleman clearly stated there were people inside, so there definitely can’t be a mistake. In Okhema, this adult’s prestige is second only to Lady Tribios. He holds the authority of [Romance], and the golden threads in his hands can probe all things in the world······

Yet they actually found no one here?

Therefore, the guard captain’s first reaction was: It definitely isn’t [Gold Lion] gentleman’s problem. It must be that this group of ours failed to find them.

”Tsk, what the hell are you all doing for a living?”

The guard captain personally stepped forward: ”It’s just one room. There aren’t even that many boxes or cabinets. How could it possibly hide two people? Search more carefully!”

Guard No. 1 through No. 5 had no choice but to obediently continue searching.

——”···Heh, no need. Everyone has worked hard. That thief should be uncatchable now.”

At this moment, Mydei’s voice once again sounded from outside the door. His tone was calm and gentle: ”Sorry to trouble everyone. All of you may return. Rest assured, this is not your failure in duty. Any items lost in this room will be my responsibility.”

”Subordinates are incompetent. Thank you, Lord Mydei.”

Upon receiving Mydei’s instructions, the guard captain quickly expressed his thanks, then led the five brothers behind him and left.

However, just as ”Guard No. 5” was following at the very back, trying to secretly slip away with the group, a golden thread promptly blocked her path.

”······Hyacine, we meet again.”

Mydei smiled and waved at the pink-haired girl. ”As fellow Chrysos Heirs, how come we don’t even greet each other when we meet?”

”And Little Ica too?”

”Indeed ran into the tailor man again······” Hyacine took two steps back. What drew attention was that, as Mydei pointed out her true identity, the guard uniform on her body seemed to be wiped away by an eraser, reverting back to a black robe.

Without a doubt, this was the clothing generated after she used her trick authority to deceive the guards earlier. But once Mydei saw through it, it automatically disappeared.

——”To make the fake become real.” This is [Trick]’s greatest ability.

”Dudu~”

A snow-white little head poked out from Hyacine’s collar. Its clear, large eyes saw Mydei, first freezing for a moment, then revealing a trace of hostile fierceness.

It’s Mydei!

”Let’s get this straight first—this time I really didn’t get anything. At most I discovered a little secret between little cake and big shark.” Hyacine raised both hands, her face full of innocence. Combined with her pure and cute appearance, it was hard not to feel pity for her.

Rustle——

The golden thread trembled slightly.

Stelle slowly poked her head out from behind Mydei: ”This is······?”

Wind cat cat? Knowing that studying medicine can’t save Okhema, she simply switched professions?

Mydei said with a smile: ”This one? On the surface, her identity is Okhema’s popular idol. In reality, she’s a little thief caught by you and me. Isn’t that right, Miss Hyacine?”

Hyacine ground her silver teeth: ”Tailor man, today is truly rare. You actually acted as a tour guide for people? Do these three treasures have special identities? Mind telling me?”

Mydei spread his hands: ”Now all Chrysos Heirs know these three guests from beyond the sky. What, you don’t use the Wanwei Net?”

Hyacine snapped her fingers: ”Oh, I did hear about this. Grayie, Danny, and Sunny, right?”

Stelle and Dan Heng silently exchanged a glance, then both turned to look at Sunday. The corners of their mouths twitched: Sunny? Such a strange nickname······ but somehow it fits quite well.

”Mm-hm.” Mydei said: ”The room you just visited was originally tidied up to prepare for these three. But you didn’t even ask around before making a move······ Isn’t that a bit improper?”

Hyacine’s eyes rolled, then she suddenly flashed forward and leaned close to Stelle, smiling as she said: ”Grayie ~ I’ve heard all about your and your friends’ heroic deeds in Okhema today. Thanks to Kephale’s blessing, Amphoreus can welcome you three great benefactors.”

”You three adults are so magnanimous. How about, for the sake of our first meeting, you let me off the hook? I’ll repay you later, okay? Okay? Okay? Okay? Okay?”

Stelle looked Hyacine up and down. She felt that the pink-haired girl before her right now was exactly like a sly cat. So she touched her chin and said with ill intentions: ”Wind Treasure, I just heard from Mydei mom······ peh! I just heard from Mydei that you’re an idol, right?”

”Then you wouldn’t want your fans to find out about you stealing things, would you? If that happens, wouldn’t your idol career be over right here?”

Hyacine’s face filled with panic: ”Y-you-you want to do what? Onegai, please don’t spread this matter. Otherwise, otherwise my future will be finished!”

Stelle: ???

She got into character that fast?

”Puhahahaha——! Grayie, you’re really cute!”

Seeing Stelle’s completely bewildered expression, Hyacine couldn’t hold it in any longer and burst out laughing with a ”puchi.” She patted Stelle’s shoulder and said: ”Alright alright, let’s get back to the point. Tailor man, you just want me to owe these people a favor so they can ask for help later, right?”

”I accept this favor. Grayie is really cute. I like her, hehe~”

As she spoke, Hyacine reached out and pinched Stelle’s cheek. The action was extremely intimate.

”Hey, don’t make it so intimate!”

Facing the real sister, Stelle immediately panicked a little. She retreated two steps and said: ”I-I have a girlfriend. Be careful she flies down from the sky to teach you a lesson!”

(Soul-state March 7th nodded in agreement: ”Yes yes!”)

Who knew that after hearing this, Hyacine first froze, then said something shocking: ”Feels even more exciting.”

Stelle: ???

Sunday, standing to the side: ???

He didn’t understand, but he was greatly shocked.

”Alright, I won’t disturb you all anymore.” Hyacine clapped her hands. ”This time it was my fault. I owe you all a favor. In the future, if you encounter danger, just shout loudly ’Help me, Hyacine sister,’ and then I’ll appear~”

Mydei nodded: ”Your word is your bond.”

”Of course.” Hyacine smiled, then used all her strength to throw Little Ica into the air. The latter instantly transformed into spiral lightning and carried Hyacine away, disappearing on the spot.
