Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

Puer and the “original version” of the first edition Dragon Ball are pulled back.

Lu Li doesn’t reach out immediately, still supporting them with energy floating in mid-air.

At this moment, he has heightened his perception to the maximum, wanting to see if there is such a surveillance force in his own cosmos.

If there is, he would rather give up Puer and Dragon Ball than take them.

After all, the “Great Will” is too terrifying for him right now, completely impossible to contend against.

In the unseen, Lu Li feels a faint sense of being watched.

Very faint, like the feeling of someone staring at you from behind.

If it weren’t for careful sensing, perhaps Lu Li wouldn’t even notice it.

This feeling didn’t last long before it quietly disappeared.

Lu Li was taken aback, “It seems there’s surveillance power, yet also seems there isn’t.”

How to put it, he senses the gaze of surveillance power but hasn’t witnessed the incomparable striking force of surveillance power.

Lu Li couldn’t help but speculate, “Could it be that in this cosmos, surveillance force exists but cannot effectively strike, only able to conduct surveillance to a certain extent?”

Thinking carefully, he roughly understands why this is the case.

The force of sixty-five trillion stars within him, if not using divine force fields, would cause dimensional collapse wherever it goes.

And the striking power of surveillance, even surpasses his full-force strike with cosmic power right now.

If surveillance in the cosmos hit like in other dimensions, the cosmos might be doomed to destruction.

“Perhaps precisely because of this, although there is surveillance force in the cosmos, it won’t strike like it does in other dimensions.”

Lu Li inferred more from this, “Only when severely disrupting cosmic balance, even necessitating a cosmos reset, might surveillance force strike in the cosmos.”

Understanding this point makes the following course of action much simpler.

Having a plan, Lu Li begins to release the energy restrain on Puer and the Dragon Balls.

The next moment, the Dragon Balls fell to the ground.

Puer seemed to come alive, hovering beside Lu Li, flying around him several circles.

Suddenly, Puer asked, “Who are you? Where is Yamcha?”

Oh.

Still retaining memories of the fantasy world.

Lu Li looked over and said, “You are not in your original world now, as for me… you can consider me the god of your world.”

Upon hearing this, Puer immediately became respectful, “Greetings, divine master.”

Lu Li hummed in agreement, warning, “Don’t tell anyone about your matter, or there will be dire consequences.”

This isn’t to scare the other, but if others knew Puer comes from the Dragon Ball world, they would very likely try to capture, then conduct a series of studies.

If the research is successful nothing will happen, but if not, there could truly be mortal peril.

Lu Li isn’t talking nonsense.

For example, “Thunder Fire Refining Hall” was struck for six hundred years without incident.

Then it was researched by experts, fitted with a lightning rod, and “Thunder Fire Refining Hall” spectacle vanished completely.

Most crucially, later on, the experts couldn’t even restore it.

Another similar example is Zhang Heng’s Seismograph, dismantled by experts, couldn’t be reassembled, then they claimed that measuring earthquakes with a seismograph was less accurate than hanging a piece of pork on a beam.

So, expert research inherently carries risk.

For Puer’s safety, Lu Li naturally warns him.

Fortunately, after learning Lu Li is the “god” of this world, Puer becomes obedient.

He nodded vigorously, “I will heed the divine command.”

Lu Li scanned the body structure of the other, discovering nothing special, resembling a normal animal.

After contemplating, he proactively asked, “Puer, can you demonstrate a transformation technique for me to see?”

Puer immediately said, “Sure.”

He glanced around, finally locking his gaze on a pair of scissors on the living room coffee table.

Puer said, “I’ll transform into scissors.”

Lu Li said, “Alright.”

The next moment, with a pop, Puer directly transformed into a pair of scissors floating mid-air.

Lu Li took the opportunity to scan the structure again, finding that it indeed had become scissors, but the power remained the same as Puer’s original.

He vaguely understood that Puer’s transformation does boost combat strength to a certain extent, like turning into scissors to cut things, just that the increase is very limited, unable to surpass his inherent power.

Puer, in scissor form, could still speak, “My transformation has a time limit, after which I’ll automatically revert and must rest a while before I can transform again.”

Lu Li asked, “Five minutes?”

Puer reverted to his original form while pursing his lips, “Oolong, that guy expelled from kindergarten by a female teacher, ineptly trained, can only last five minutes. I can last an hour.”

Lu Li was thoughtful, the original book didn’t accurately describe the duration of Puer’s transformation.

Although so, there is still an implicit “setting.”

And this setting is one hour.

Judging by Puer’s transformation, he indeed fits all the setups of the Dragon Ball world.

What does this imply?

It implies that all of his prior speculations were correct.

Meaning, if he “steals” objects from the reality-fantasy world, their power would exactly match the original’s settings.

If this is truly the case, if he steals an Infinity Gauntlet from reality-fantasy, can it truly grant ordinary people the ability to destroy and create universes?

Whether this is the case, Lu Li remains uncertain for now.
