Honkai: Reborn as the Corrosion Herrscher, Living as a Fake Elysia

“Fu Hua, you’re here.” Elysia turned her head to look at a shadow.

…Fu Hua slowly walked out of the shadow and stood beside Elysia.

She looked at the Herrscher of Flames, who was leaning against the wall, already asleep.

“You shouldn’t have held back.” Fu Hua reached out and placed a feather on the Herrscher of Flames’ head.

“Held back? I don’t think so.” Elysia put her hands behind her back, saying with a hint of guilt.

“Let’s go, take her back.” Fu Hua reached out, wanting to carry the Herrscher of Flames on her back.

But then a purple void suddenly appeared beside her, and a pale giant hand stretched out.

After Fu Hua frowned, she let that hand take the Herrscher of Flames back.

Whether the Herrscher of Flames brought back was alive or not, that was beyond Fu Hua’s control.

“Fu Hua, is it okay to let her be taken away like that?” Elysia asked, somewhat puzzled.

“She won’t wake up again.” Fu Hua turned to leave.

“Hey, wait for me, seriously, Fu Hua, don’t be so cold.” Elysia quickly followed beside Fu Hua.

Fu Hua only quickened her pace.

When the two returned to Schicksal Headquarters.

The others had not yet returned; it seemed Elysia’s side had dealt with their opponent first.

After all, Elysia’s side went straight for the Herrscher of Flames’ location.

The Death Herrscher’s location was undetectable beforehand due to the black mist.

The Wind Herrscher… had not come down from the sky at all, and Cecilia could only look for an opportunity for a single fatal blow.

Standing on the edge of the floating island, looking in the direction of Siberia.

“Fu Hua, can you tell me Otto’s plan?” Elysia then asked.

“Otto’s plan, he wants to know if the Herrscher’s power can revive those who have died.” Fu Hua stood beside Elysia, saying after a moment of thought.

“Using the Herrscher’s power to revive people, huh… If it’s just restoring the body, the Death Herrscher’s power can do it.” Elysia thought about what she could achieve, then told Fu Hua.

Fu Hua didn’t respond to Elysia’s words, nor did she ask why Elysia knew.

“Fu Hua, Otto also asked you to follow me, didn’t he?” When the sun was about to set, Elysia turned her back to the sun and Fu Hua.

“Yes.” Fu Hua nodded directly.

“Otto is truly an old fox, and rightly so; as the Archbishop of Destiny, he wouldn’t be in that position without some cunning.” Elysia said, walking towards the resting area.

“Fu Hua, you should also be careful. Making a deal with Otto is no different from making a deal with the devil.”

Hearing Elysia’s last sentence, Fu Hua was stunned for a moment. Looking at Elysia, who had already walked some distance, Fu Hua sighed softly.

‘If I don’t make a deal with Otto, how much longer can my body hold on?’

Fu Hua squeezed her fist hard, trying to test how much power she had left.

In the evening, both Cecilia, who went to fight the Wind Herrscher, and Otto, who went to find the Death Herrscher, returned to Schicksal Headquarters.

Siegfried also returned to Schicksal Headquarters not long after.

“Our operation was very successful. Only the Second Herrscher and her subordinate, the Herrscher of Thunder, remain in the Siberia Plains. Tomorrow, Destiny will gather all its forces to launch a general offensive against the Second Herrscher.”

“Everyone, you must believe in the strength of us humans; we will surely be victorious.”

Otto stood in front of the camera, delivering a speech.

“Tsk, although Otto’s words are fine this time, I really want to hit him.” Elysia said to Fu Hua, somewhat annoyed.

“As long as he is still fighting Honkai, it can be tolerated.” Fu Hua watched Otto with her arms crossed.

“He’s fighting Honkai? He’d probably join the Honkai faction on the spot if Honkai Energy could help him revive Kallen.” Elysia looked at Otto, who was still spouting grand words.

“At least, not yet. If he were to help Honkai, I would kill him directly.” Fu Hua said calmly.

By the next morning, most people had been arranged to search and rescue in the Siberia Plains.

Because there were simply too many Honkai Beasts, Destiny didn’t have enough people to clear them all.

So Otto decided to use heavy firepower to launch a saturation strike on the Siberia Plains to eliminate most of the Honkai Beasts.

Standing on the periphery, feeling the hot wind brought by the explosions.

“This is… spectacular?” Elysia didn’t know how to describe it; it was her first time seeing such an explosion.

On the Siberia Plains, black smoke from explosions was everywhere, and craters on the ground indicated where direct attacks had occurred.

“Indeed, heavy firepower has a certain effect on ordinary Honkai Beasts.” Einstein recorded data nearby.

“You Anti-Entropy could also create a scene like this, couldn’t you?” Elysia looked at the two doctors who had appeared beside them during the operation.

“Hmph, of course. We also have missiles with even greater power than this.” Tesla snorted.

Einstein glanced at Tesla, then said to Elysia, “We are only responsible for support work this time; we will help you clear out the Honkai Beasts that haven’t died.”

“For battles against Herrschers, Valkyries below A-rank are not very effective, and similarly, our mechs are not very effective either.”

“By the way, hasn’t your leader woken up yet?” Elysia asked, somewhat curious. Given Welt’s injuries and some of her treatment, he should be mostly recovered by now, shouldn’t he?

Could there still be something Elysia hadn’t healed?

“No, in the battle on the Moon, our leader was severely wounded and greatly exhausted, and has not yet woken up.” Einstein said calmly.

“Alright, I was hoping that with your leader’s help, the battle would be easier.” Elysia sighed.

Without the First Herrscher, they were short one main damage dealer.

After some of the black smoke on the plains dissipated.

“Then, everyone, the war against the Second Herrscher begins now.” Otto finished speaking and walked towards the Babylon Laboratory.

The Babylon Laboratory still stood on the plains, and because the surrounding area had been bombed, the intact Babylon Laboratory stood out even more.
