Honkai: Reborn as the Corrosion Herrscher, Living as a Fake Elysia

The next morning.

At the meeting point of Schicksal, Otto stood in the war room, giving a speech to the camera.

He spoke about the objectives of the operation, or rather, it was a pre-battle pep talk.

After it ended.

Otto turned to look at Elysia and Fu Hua, who were sitting on a railing nearby.

“Otto, how much of what you just said was sincere?” Fu Hua said without turning her head.

“Haha, old friend, no matter what, I am trying to end this disaster, am I not?” Otto walked over to them, leaning on the railing and looking at the scene below.

“Hmph,” Fu Hua snorted.

“But you two seem to be getting along very well.”

“Oh my, Bishop Otto, girls’ secrets are best not pried into ♬ ~” Elysia flipped off the railing and walked into the war room.

“Hahaha, I understand,” Otto said, glancing at Fu Hua’s reaction.

After the war meeting, he looked at the war sand table in front of him.

“So, Otto, your plan…”

“My plan is merely to defeat the Second Herrscher to the greatest extent possible and minimize casualties. Does Miss Elysia have any other questions?” Otto looked at Elysia, “Or rather, Miss Elysia, do you have a better battle plan?”

“All the combat power we currently possess that can fight a Herrscher is already here.”

“Anti-Entropy discovered something on the moon that requires the cooperation of the Kaslana Family, and Siegfried happened to be there, so he stayed.”

“The leader of Anti-Entropy, Welt, was severely wounded fighting the Second Herrscher on the moon and is still undergoing treatment.”

“Therefore, this is the only plan we can proceed with.”

“Leave this Herrscher of Death to me to handle,” Elysia said, pointing at a phantom image, “If I go, I will reduce casualties to the minimum.”

“That won’t do, Miss Elysia. The Herrscher of Death is a very important part of my battle plan.” Otto moved another projection in front of Elysia.

“There is no suitable Valkyrie for Schicksal to eliminate this Herrscher of Flame, so it will be left to Miss Elysia.”

“Herrscher of Flame, huh…”

“Don’t worry, Miss Elysia, I’m not asking you to fight alone; Valkyries will support you.” After Otto finished speaking, he didn’t wait for Elysia’s agreement.

He directly told the attendees of the war meeting, “The battle plan is thus decided.”

“Cecilia, with ground forces supporting you, try to kill the Herrscher of Wind with one blow.”

“Cheng Lixue, you and the other members of the Snow Wolf Squad will confront the Herrscher of Thunder. If you can kill her, that’s best; if not, just delay her.”

“Leave the Herrscher of Death to me.”

“The Herrscher of Flame is up to Miss Elysia.”

“Otto, are you assuming I’ve already agreed?” Elysia looked at Otto, somewhat annoyed.

“Miss Elysia isn’t refusing, is she?” Otto maintained his gentle demeanor.

He was just very punchable.

“Hmph!” Elysia walked directly towards the airship heading to the Herrscher of Flame’s location.

Along the way, she kept muttering, “That hateful Otto, I really want to punch him, I really want to punch him.”

It wasn’t until she was on the airship that Elysia stopped her curse-like murmuring.

When the other Valkyries on the airship saw Elysia board.

“Commander, shall we depart now?” The pilot turned to ask Elysia.

Yes, Commander. For the operation against the Herrscher of Flame, Otto directly handed command over to Elysia for her to lead.

“Let’s go.” After boarding the airship, Elysia immediately closed her eyes and rested.

Elysia only opened her eyes when they were close to their destination.

Seeing the nervous crowd, Elysia clapped her hands to get their attention.

“When the battle starts later, just stay away from the center of the combat.”

“You all search for survivors in the city; leave the enemy to me.”

“How can we, Commander? We came to participate in the operation, and we are not afraid of death,” a Valkyrie said, looking at Elysia.

The other Valkyries had the same look, all having the determination to die.

“Don’t worry, only after you rescue all the victims can I fight with all my strength, right?” After Elysia finished speaking, she looked at the approaching city, or rather, it was better to call it ruins.

Soon, the airship landed at the planned location.

The Valkyries quickly left the airship and, according to Elysia’s command, searched for ordinary people who were still surviving in the city.

Elysia, meanwhile, walked directly towards the Herrscher of Flame’s location.

When Elysia arrived, she saw soldiers holding their defensive line and the Herrscher of Flame toying with them.

In the combat channel, “Everyone retreat, leave this to me.”

The soldiers still holding the line on the battlefield also began an orderly retreat according to orders.

The Herrscher of Flame in the battlefield, seeing fewer and fewer people, “Oh? Are they trying to escape? Hahaha, how could I let you run!”

More flames surrounded the Herrscher of Flame, then quickly spread outwards.

At this moment, a pink arrow pierced through the flames and flew towards the Herrscher of Flame.

The arrow had not even touched the Herrscher of Flame when it was burned to ashes by the Herrscher of Flame’s flames.

“Have new ants arrived?” The Herrscher of Flame looked in the direction of the attack.

“Oh my, saying that about a beautiful girl would make me angry, you know.” Elysia walked directly onto the scorched earth cleared by the Herrscher of Flame.

“Hmm? Only you? How bold of you.” A faint wisp of flame appeared in the Herrscher of Flame’s hand.

The flame expanded significantly as it attacked Elysia.

“Playing with fire carelessly can burn yourself, you know.” After quickly dodging the attack, Elysia’s arrow also had black flames on it.

“Flying in the air, it’s a bit hard to hit, isn’t it? Then…” In Elysia’s vision, everything around her turned black and white.

Rapidly approaching the Herrscher of Flame, after pressing the arrow against the Herrscher of Flame’s body.

“This way it won’t miss, right?” Elysia released the bowstring.

In the Herrscher of Flame’s vision, Elysia suddenly appeared in front of her at an extremely fast speed.

The arrow directly pierced through the Herrscher of Flame’s body and was pinned to the ground.

Black flames stained the Herrscher of Flame’s body. The Herrscher of Flame clutched her wound, “These flames, why… why won’t they obey me!”

“You ant! What did you do!” The Herrscher of Flame roared at Elysia, who had just landed on the ground, while the surrounding flames also converged.

“What, aren’t you the Herrscher of Flame? These are just ordinary flames.” Elysia’s weapon also changed its appearance; this distance was no longer suitable for a bow and arrow.

The Herrscher of Flame used her own flames to burn the black flames, “This thing! It’s not fire at all, you ant, as long as I kill you, as long as I kill you!”

The Herrscher of Flame’s attacks became much more frenzied.

“Miss Herrscher of Flame, please take a moment to rest.” Her chaotic attacks only allowed Elysia to approach her faster.

Facing the wall made of flames, “Break!”

With one punch, a gap was torn in the wall of fire in front of Elysia.

With the second punch, the Herrscher of Flame flew out directly, crashing into the wall of the building behind her.

A trace of blood flew from her mouth.

“Damn it… ant…” The Herrscher of Flame propped herself up.

“Let us… all die!” Around the Herrscher of Flame, the temperature rose wildly.

“Oh my, still, please calm down, Miss Herrscher of Flame ♬ ~” Elysia’s voice appeared in the Herrscher of Flame’s ear.

The Herrscher of Flame’s pupils contracted instantly, then slowly closed her eyes, sliding down the wall to sit on the ground.
