Honkai: Reborn as the Corrosion Herrscher, Living as a Fake Elysia

On the day of the exam.

Kiana looked at the History test paper, her face ashen.

This History test was set by Rita, and she hadn’t given them the exam scope in advance.

Although the other students in the class were a bit distressed, they weren’t completely clueless.

By the time the exam ended, Kiana had turned completely pale.

So much so that on the way to the practical exam, following behind Elysia, Elysia stopped, but she didn’t notice, and simply bumped directly into Elysia’s back.

After bumping, Kiana came back to her senses.

“Elysia, have we reached the exam location already?” Kiana asked, patting her face.

“Of course, but, Kiana, it’s just one failed exam, why are you so down?” Elysia reached out and pinched Kiana’s cheek.

“It’s not like you haven’t failed exams before, don’t let the History exam affect your practical exam ♬ ~”

“It won’t affect the practical exam!” Kiana slapped Elysia’s hand away, then pouted and said, “For the practical exam, I’ve gotten much stronger!”

“Yes, yes, yes, Kiana has gotten much stronger.” Elysia chuckled softly, then took Kiana’s hand.

“Let’s go, hurry up and take the exam.”

“Eh, don’t pull me, Elysia, aren’t we waiting for Mei and the others? Mei and the others are still behind us.” Kiana quickly said.

“Oh, Kiana, don’t worry about Mei and the others, after all, they are helping the teachers collect the test papers,” Elysia said indifferently.

“Besides, even if we wait, we can’t just stand here under the blazing sun, can we? Be careful, Mei won’t want you if you get tanned ♬ ~”

“Mei couldn’t possibly not want me…” Kiana said, then after a brief hesitation, added, “Then let’s hurry up and go!”

“Oh my, is Kiana feeling a bit guilty?” Elysia kept pace with Kiana, “If Mei doesn’t want you, Elysia can also accept Kiana, you know ♬ ~”

Listening to Elysia’s words, Kiana turned her head to glance at Elysia, then immediately turned back.

“Mei definitely won’t abandon me!”

“Hahaha.” Listening to Elysia’s laughter, Kiana walked a bit faster.

“Our Princess Mei certainly won’t abandon her Knight Kiana ♬ ~” Elysia followed behind Kiana, speaking in a voice Kiana could hear.

“Princess Mei? Hmph, that’s natural, after all, I am Mei’s Knight.”

The two were the first to arrive at the examination hall. Inside the hall, Elysia saw no one else except Himeko.

After nodding to Himeko, Elysia and Kiana went to the resting area to wait for Mei and the others.

Fortunately, there were no mishaps during the practical exam.

Both Kiana and the others, as well as Elysia and Fu Hua, easily passed the exam.

Or rather, this kind of exam held no difficulty for students who were already official Valkyries.

So later, they had other exams.

The fully prepared group sat in the aircraft, looking down at the town that was already almost in ruins.

“Kiana, Mei, and Bronya, your mission this time is to individually eliminate a Chariot-class Honkai Beast,” Rita said, standing in front of Kiana and the others.

“But aren’t we a squad?” Kiana asked, raising her hand.

“Yes, you are a squad, so you also have a second option, which is to suppress the Honkai incident in the town below,” Rita said with a smile.

“Then we’ll go with the second option!” Kiana said confidently.

“Alright, is that also the choice of Mei and Bronya?” Rita looked at Mei and Bronya.

“Our choice is the same as Kiana’s, Sister Rita.”

“Alright, then, you can depart.” With that, Rita pulled the switch nearby.

The aircraft’s rear hatch also slowly opened.

The three walked to the rear of the aircraft, looked down at the ruins, and then simply jumped down.

“Rita, what about me and Hua?” Elysia asked Rita, looking at the already closed hatch.

“Elysia and Miss Fu Hua only need to wait here to ensure that no unexpected situations occur during this mission.” Rita sat opposite Elysia and the others.

Then she opened a projection, and the three of them watched Kiana and the others’ assessment.

They watched as the three quickly dealt with a Chariot-class Honkai Beast on the screen, then immediately launched an attack on another Honkai Beast.

This was just a small Honkai incident, only giving birth to some Chariot-class Honkai Beasts; not even a Temple-class Honkai Beast was seen.

For Kiana and the others, there was no difficulty at all.

When the detector showed no Honkai Energy reaction, the aircraft landed on relatively stable ground.

Not long after, Kiana and the others rushed over and boarded the aircraft.

“Elysia! Aren’t we amazing!” Kiana said, looking up.

“Yes, yes, yes, very amazing, Kiana, you can all complete missions independently now ♬ ~” Elysia praised with a smile.

“Hehe, then, Elysia, how far am I from being an A-rank Valkyrie?” Kiana asked, directly hugging Elysia’s arm.

“You’d better ask Rita about that, after all, Rita is the examiner ♬ ~” Elysia pointed to Rita with her other hand.

“Kiana still has some distance to go before becoming an A-rank Valkyrie, but if Kiana works harder, perhaps she can gain Headmaster Theresa’s approval and then become an A-rank Valkyrie.”

Rita spoke after sending the assessment video back to headquarters, hearing Elysia’s words.

“Ah ~” Kiana was a bit dejected after hearing Rita’s words, “Why do I still need to get Aunt’s approval?”

“Sister Rita, aren’t you the examiner? Can you, like, just boost my evaluation and promote me to A-rank Valkyrie?” Kiana looked at Rita with expectant eyes.

“Rita is only a temporary examiner and does not have such authority, so, Kiana, you still need to work harder and gain Headmaster Theresa’s approval.” Rita said to Kiana with a smooth smile, using artful language.

“Alright, the assessment is over! Let’s not chat here, it’s much better to chat at home.” Elysia quickly interrupted the conversation, not letting Kiana continue.

“Mm, Kiana, if you have any other questions, you can ask Headmaster Theresa when we get back.”

After speaking, Rita walked to the cockpit and gave a few instructions to the pilot inside.

The aircraft also began its return journey.

When the aircraft flew into the sky, Kiana suddenly looked at Elysia and said, “Wait! Elysia, what about your assessment? Why are we suddenly going home!”

“Of course, beautiful Elysia and handsome Hua don’t need an assessment ♬ ~” Elysia said, hugging Fu Hua’s arm and leaning her head on Fu Hua’s shoulder.

Kiana looked at Rita.

“Elysia’s mission is to ensure that your assessment proceeds without incident.”

“That’s so unfair! We were down there clearing Honkai Beasts, but you two were resting in the aircraft!”

“Oh, Kiana, it’s not right for you to say that. Hua and I have been constantly monitoring your safety, you know ♬ ~”

“Hmph, anyway, you two were just being lazy, it’s just unfair.”

Regarding Kiana’s dissatisfaction, everyone just smiled.

After all, Kiana wasn’t a child anymore; she naturally understood the situation.

The assessment ended easily, and next, they could enjoy another pleasant long holiday.

Of course, except for a certain someone who was still in remedial classes.

Inside Rita’s room.

“Lord Bishop, currently, Kiana is all normal.”

“Is that so? It seems she still needs some pressure.” Otto, in the projection, had his back to Rita.

“Rita, create an accident, let Kiana see the History of the Second Eruption.”

“Lord Bishop, is it a normal viewing, or a database simulation?” Rita asked, lowering her head.

“Database simulation. They have devices that can connect to the database. I’ll give you database access.” Otto said, reaching his hand out of the projection, doing something unknown.

Then Rita received the authorization information.

“Yes, Lord Bishop Otto.”

“By the way, regarding the History of the Second Eruption, if Elysia and Fu Hua also want to enter together, there’s no need to stop them.” Otto turned around and looked at Rita.

“Later, I will connect the floating island’s server to simulate the Second Eruption.”

“I want to see how much the Second Eruption will change with new variables added.”

“Lord Bishop, what if Elysia and the others don’t enter?” Rita had some doubts as to why Otto was so certain that Elysia and Fu Hua would enter.

“Rita, Fu Hua might not enter, but Elysia, she definitely will.” Otto chuckled a few times; a hand appeared next to his projection, handing him a drink.

“She must know about Kiana, K423’s identity. The true History of the Second Eruption is right before her eyes, she definitely won’t let it go.”

“Even if she knows some of the truth about the Second Eruption, this kind of opportunity to experience it firsthand, heh heh heh.”

“Yes, Lord Bishop, Rita will explain it to Elysia.”

“Hahaha, you don’t need to explain it. I think Miss Elysia already knows the content of your communication with me.”

“Then will Elysia still enter the data space?”

“Oh my, Lord Bishop, you really know me well ♬ ~” Elysia’s voice rang out from the communicator.

“Hahaha, isn’t that confidence in you? So, Miss Elysia, would you like to view the truth hidden by both Schicksal and Anti-Entropy?”

“Since the Lord Bishop has invited me, of course I have to watch, after all, I’m very curious too ♬ ~”

“Miss Elysia will see what she wants to see.”
