Reborn in the 90s with a Space: Winning Back My Husband

’But I’m not a kid anymore! And I didn’t even reject him, so what the hell is he running for?!’

Dumbfounded, Shen Nian rolled around on the bed a couple of times before she finally couldn’t help but burst out laughing.

’Oh, Lu Cheng, Lu Cheng. Do you have to be so... adorable?’

But when she heard the sound of running water from the bathroom, she recalled the desire she had just felt from Lu Cheng.

A sudden thought occurred to Shen Nian. She wanted to see just how long Lu Cheng could possibly hold out.

But then, Shen Nian started to feel a little troubled.

’Right now, Lu Cheng must be taking a cold shower in the bathroom! Taking one or two is fine, but if this happens too often, I’m afraid it can’t be good for his health!’

’I’ve heard that being sexually frustrated is really bad for you!’

Shen Nian really wanted to go and tell Lu Cheng that it was okay, that he could do whatever he wanted. ’But if I say that, I’ll sound a little too forward, won’t I?’

Thinking about how Lu Cheng had just beaten a hasty retreat, a mischievous thought sparked in Shen Nian’s mind.

’Hmph, I gave him his chance. He’s the one who didn’t take it! Next time he comes to regret this, an opportunity like this might not come around again!’

Lu Cheng, having beaten a hasty retreat from the bedroom to the bathroom, had no idea what kind of opportunity he had just missed. Nor did he know what circumstances awaited him in the future.

At that moment, he was still in absolute agony.

Even though the cold water was already washing over his body, the fire deep inside Lu Cheng was slow to die down.

The image of Shen Nian, her seductive, silky gaze and her enchanting voice, lingered in his mind, refusing to fade. Even the cold spray of the water couldn’t suppress the fire within him.

Lu Cheng stayed under the spray for nearly half an hour before finally coming out of the bathroom.

Meanwhile, Shen Nian was in the bedroom, listening to the sounds from outside. As long as the noise from the bathroom continued, her worrying didn’t stop.

It wasn’t until she heard Lu Cheng finally emerge from the bathroom that Shen Nian could breathe a sigh of relief.

She had originally planned to tease him a bit more after he came out, but seeing how things were, how could she dare to torment him any further?

Especially since Lu Cheng had just gotten back from work; he must be exhausted.

’I can’t bear to do it. It’s better to just let him get some proper rest.’

However, Shen Nian waited and waited, but even though Lu Cheng had been out of the bathroom for a long time, he still hadn’t come into the bedroom.

’Could it be? Because of what happened earlier, is Lu Cheng not even planning to sleep in the bedroom?’

’But this is a two-bedroom apartment, and when I was tidying up, I only prepared one of the bedrooms!’

’The other room is completely empty. Even if Lu Cheng wanted to sleep in there, there’s nowhere for him to sleep.’

’Besides, I’ve waited so long for Lu Cheng to come home; there’s no way I’m sleeping in a separate room!’

’So he’s not coming in, is he! Hmph. Does he really think I can’t find a way to force him in here?’

Lu Cheng was indeed outside, conflicted. He was afraid that if he went into the bedroom, what happened earlier would happen again. And if it did, he wasn’t sure he could hit the brakes at the critical moment.

So, Lu Cheng was indeed considering just finding another place to sleep for the night.

And yet, even if he didn’t do anything to Shen Nian, he still wanted to sleep while holding her. Only then could he truly feel that she was right there by his side.
