Global Lords: Me and My Calabash Kiddos

Chapter 215: Chapter 116: Planning the Territory, Strange Hailstorm (Part 3)

The Fire Dragon saw that Yi Tian didn’t look well, and didn’t dare to speak.

”Doesn’t the Celestial Prison have Thunder Punishment and Fire Punishment? Take him to have a taste,” Yi Tian ordered the Fire Dragon.

”Yes!”

The Fire Dragon understood and went to give the orders.

The Thunder Strike Room and Fire Burning Chamber were both sealed rooms, there was no way to transmit sound.

After Yi Tian waited for a quarter of an hour, the Fire Dragon came running over, saying, ”Reporting to the Lord, he stayed in both thunder and fire for a while. I’m afraid the Flower Thorn Prince can’t endure it. He seems to have already fainted.”

”Take me to see him!”

After speaking, Yi Tian followed the Fire Dragon to the Flower Thorn Prince’s cell.

At this point, the Flower Thorn Prince was lying on the bed, his hair all gone, clothes tattered, his painted face now scorched black.

From the way the Flower Thorn Prince’s brow was furrowed tightly, it was clear he was still conscious.

”The end-of-month assessment is near. If he can’t meet my conditions, chop off one of his arms tomorrow!”

Yi Tian deliberately said this loudly, as if speaking to the Fire Dragon.

”Yes, Lord.”

The Fire Dragon understood and replied.

Yi Tian flicked his sleeve and left!

Only after Yi Tian left for quite a while did the Flower Thorn Prince react. Trembling, he took out his Crystal Ball.

He didn’t contact the Flower Thorn King, but instead reached out to the Flower Thorn Queen...

After leaving the Celestial Prison, Yi Tian was thinking that the words he just said weren’t just to scare the Flower Thorn Prince.

The Lord’s days are numbered, there’s no time to waste dealing with the Flower Thorn Dynasty.

Yi Tian decided that tomorrow would be the deadline. If it dragged past the day after tomorrow, he would definitely cut off the Flower Thorn Prince’s arm, to wake up the Flower Thorn King.

It was already four in the afternoon—unconsciously, nearly another day had gone by, busy as always.

With a little time left before the end of the month, Yi Tian had to hurry and finish crafting the Black Flame Armor.

Black Flame Stone*3, B-level Beast Core*2, B-level Beast Tendon*2, B-level Beast Hide*2, Gold*5000, Celestial Dao Coin*200,000.

Except for the Black Flame Stones, two B-level Beast Cores required 60,000 Celestial Dao Coins, two B-level Beast Tendons required 20,000 Celestial Dao Coins, two B-level Beast Hides needed 20,000 Celestial Dao Coins.

The gold cost 2 million Celestial Dao Coins, making the total—including the Black Flame Stone—2.9 million Celestial Dao Coins.

Life-saving equipment, of course, costs a fortune!

On the first floor of the medium-sized Boutique Warehouse, Yi Tian set the sizes and began purchasing materials.

”Rumble!”

”Crack!”

He’d just made a few dozen sets of armor when thunder rolled outside.

If Fourth Child and Fifth Child weren’t with him, Yi Tian would have thought they were the ones playing with lightning again.

”Is it going to rain?”

For most Lords, this is a long-awaited rain after a drought. Since mid-spring, it hasn’t rained at all.

The lake’s water had evaporated three meters deep.

But in Yi Tian’s territory was the Fifth Child, who, in a good mood, could perform Cloud Formation and Rainfall at will.

In the forest, the Yin Yang Giant Panda saw rain coming, pushed a giant cart, and went running toward the Mist.

Then, the panda tossed logs into the Mist one by one.

It then jumped into the Mist itself.

Over in the Mist, sitting in the Assault Boat, Seventh-Child put each log into her Gourd.

By activating the purple Gourd’s Storage Space, Fourth Child barely had to use any energy.

”Chirp chirp!”

After finishing, the Yin Yang Giant Panda hefted its chainsaw, jumped onto the Assault Boat, called to Seventh-Child, and pointed at the sky.

Meaning: it’s about to rain, time to go home and eat bamboo.

Seventh-Child was also hungry. She lay down on the boat while the Yin Yang Giant Panda piloted them home.

The Yin Yang Giant Panda held the chainsaw with one hand, steered the Assault Boat with the other, charging north at full speed.

”Whooo...”

Along the way, the rain didn’t fall, but the wind howled.

The lake that was calm before now had waves raging violently.

The Assault Boat sped through, sending sprays of foam everywhere.

The wind grew stronger and stronger. If not for the Yin Yang Giant Panda’s bulk, the Assault Boat would have been blown over by now.

Arriving at the shore, the Yin Yang Giant Panda and Seventh-Child ignored the Assault Boat. Seventh-Child hopped onto the panda’s back, and they raced towards the city.

”Whooo... Boom!”

Lightning kept flashing and thunder cracking, but still no rain. Yi Tian crafted a few dozen more Combat Armors, finally standing and leaving the Boutique Warehouse.

The wind slammed into city walls and buildings, making a thunderous noise.

”This wind must be at level 8! If it gets any stronger, my trees will be in danger!”

Yi Tian’s buildings—don’t mention level 8—even a level 10 wind wouldn’t worry him.

But the trees and almost-mature crops in his territory could be destroyed.

”Fire Dragon, escort all prisoners back to the Celestial Prison. I have a feeling this storm is unusual.” Yi Tian found the Fire Dragon and gave instructions.

Currently, only the Black Scale Race remained in the territory. They had to open mountains and pave roads every day, but including the Platinum Warriors, there were only fifty Black Scale prisoners—pretty pathetic.

Yi Tian climbed onto the city wall, looking into the distance. Thankfully, the saplings had grown into a forest already. Though swaying violently in the wind, none had broken yet.

Yi Tian let out a sigh of relief.

After all, this wasn’t the seaside—a typhoon would be too much.

Besides, the saplings were planted under the guidance of the Celestial Dao Rules. There’s no way a level 10 wind would just show up.

”Rumble!”

”Crack!”

Another flash of lightning with thunder.

Yi Tian suddenly felt like something hit his head.

”Whoosh whoosh!”

”Crackly crackly!”

The next second, peanut-sized hail started pelting all around Yi Tian.

”Hail! My watermelons.”

Looking towards the fields outside, Yi Tian knew full well that a lot of melons, fruits and veggies would be ruined.

But as for Spirit Flowers and Enlightenment Tea Trees, Yi Tian wasn’t worried.

They’ve survived hundreds or even thousands of years in the wild—if hail could destroy them, that’d be a joke.

Yi Tian shook his head and walked down from the city wall.

The hail grew even heavier, so dense it felt like a rain of bullets to Yi Tian.

Peanut-sized hail—though Yi Tian’s physique was strong enough not to be threatened, it actually felt comfortable, like a full-body massage.

If someone’s physique was below twenty, they’d be in for some tough luck.

”Hiss! Damn, that hurts!”

Yi Tian felt as if his head had just been hammered by someone with seven hundred strength.

He rubbed his forehead; sure enough, there was a small bump.

What the hell?

He had a physique of 786—how could hail injure him?

The hail was already piling a thin layer on the ground, looking just like pearls.

Yi Tian poked through the hailstones, and suddenly noticed one was different from the others.

”If territory members leave their houses, they’ll be targeted by designated hailstones.”

Just as Yi Tian touched that hailstone, it vaporized instantly.

And a new prompt appeared in his mind.

The meaning was clear: the Lord and all territory members should stay at home, and not run about.

”Hiss! Again!”

Yi Tian took another hit to the head.

He was actually already on full alert, but there was no way to defend against this!

Helpless, Yi Tian could only rush to the villa, and at the same time notify Gu Qianqiu to inform all Dragon Sparrow Guard not to go outside for now.

At that moment, within the territory—whether one of the Five Tiger Generals or a Dragon Sparrow Guard—anyone outside was getting special attention from the hail.

It wouldn’t kill them, but it hurt so much they’d be howling in pain.

Yi Tian took another ten or so hits before making it to the villa.

He tried covering his head with his hands, but the hailstones smashed his face.

Covered his face, the hail hit the back of his head instead.

Used an iron plate to cover his upper body, but the hailstones nailed his ass and legs—bone-deep pain.

The Yin Yang Giant Panda, Little White, Little Moon, and the Twelve-winged Tiger Star Beast were all crouched under the eaves together.

A few Kiddos were rubbing their heads; even Third Child Vajra Indestructible was no help against this.

”These next few days are crucial for Lords developing their territories, getting ready for the assessment. And this hail is falling...”
