Global Lords: Me and My Calabash Kiddos

”Crack.”

”Ah...”

More than a dozen shields were smashed.

Agonized screams echoed.

A breach had appeared.

Earth Elemental Warrior, Wind Elemental Soldier, Light Elemental Soldier, Gold Elemental Soldier—each unleashed their elemental skills into the exposed gap.

The breach wasn’t sealed yet; in the rear, the throwers were dying in droves.

The destructive force of the elemental explosions hindered the advance of the other Shield Holders.

”Whoosh! Whoosh...”

Massive iron blocks soared through the air from the city wall.

Some Shield Holders watched, helpless, as the iron blocks fell toward their position.

Dodge!

With their speed, they could easily evade the iron blocks.

If struck, not only would they die, but the breach would be exposed.

Given that, why not dodge?

This thought prevailed among many Demon Wolf Shield Holders, causing a partial collapse in several sections of the shield wall.

The Elemental Warriors seized the opportunity, unleashing their skills directly into the thrower formation.

Even the Gold Level throwers couldn’t withstand the focused attacks of the Elemental Warriors.

At this moment, Fourth Child clung to the female wall, poking out his little head.

”Whoosh!”

A jet of fire burst forth from Fourth Child’s mouth.

The fire stream thickened rapidly until it was as wide as a bucket.

The blazing column roared straight for the Shield Holders’ heads.

Water and fire attacks left them defenseless; without even B-level strength, a Shield Holder dropped his shield with a scream.

Many Demon Wolves’ fur were ablaze.

The flames expelled by Fourth Child accumulated on the ground, impossible to extinguish quickly.

One spot after another fell to Fourth Child’s fire.

Above, iron blocks kept crashing down, and the less disciplined Demon Wolves dodged wildly to avoid them.

Some Shield Holders still pressed forward under their shields.

But the single-target Elemental Warriors flung their skills at the shields, undeterred by exhaustion.

Fireball, lightning, wooden spear, ice arrow, shadow.

Each time an elemental attack struck a shield, the Shield Holder was forced back several steps, their bodies battered by elemental energies.

Yet many Demon Wolves grit their teeth and held fast.

”Crack!”

Two bolts of lightning split one shield with a fissure.

A single wooden spear shattered a shield into four pieces, piercing through a Mid-stage Silver Demon Wolf completely.

Acts like these repeated ceaselessly.

Under such relentless assault, the Demon Wolves struggled to advance.

The shield wall from moments before had already collapsed.

”Commander, the enemy’s firepower is fierce, this won’t do. The Elemental Warriors mustn’t be allowed to keep casting skills. I advise an immediate siege. For the Supreme Treasure, we can sacrifice some warriors.”

Lang Chuliu, seeing this, urgently advised Lang Chenyan.

Things went differently than expected—there was no relying on the throwers to suppress enemy firepower now.

Over a thousand Elemental Warriors unleashed their skills simultaneously; 2,100 Elemental Warriors kept casting minor skills.

Few throwers and Shield Holders remained—they could only retreat.

Wolf Infant and Wolf Dominator had to join the assault force.

”Advance at full speed! Attack!”

Lang Chenyan, with no way out, barked his order. Five thousand Demon Wolves surged toward the city wall, led by twenty Platinum Demon Wolfmen at the forefront.

When they were 600 meters from the wall, the Elemental Warriors redirected their attacks onto them.

Now, 1,100 Elemental Warriors still had skills left.

The Elemental Warriors’ attacks colored the sky with brilliance.

But the Demon Wolves led with twenty Platinum Warriors and two hundred Late-stage Gold Warriors at the tip.

Most incoming elementals were shattered by their Divine Weapons.

Even when hit, the elemental attacks only gave them superficial wounds.

Yet the Elemental Warriors were numerous and held the high ground, so their attacks could bypass the powerful vanguard and strike the weaker Demon Wolves behind.

These assaulting Demon Wolves lacked layered shields.

Those of Mid-stage Silver and Late-stage Silver, if struck by elemental attacks, were killed or disabled.

As the Demon Wolves closed to 300 meters, the Dragon Sparrow Guard archers went to work.

Arrows rained down, covering Early-stage Gold and Silver Warriors.

With Archery Mastery, every Dragon Sparrow Guard was a Divine Archer—one misstep, and an Early-stage Gold Demon Wolf would be shot dead.

The strongest Demon Wolves at the front kept swatting away arrows—otherwise, the casualties would be horrific.

Fortunately, Demon Wolves were swift; this torment lasted just a few seconds before they closed to within a hundred meters, where High-Level Climbing Ropes could be deployed.

”Whoosh whoosh whoosh...”

One by one, Siege Ropes shot out from the Demon Wolves’ arms.

This time, the Siege Ropes were different.

Before, the ropes were all tied atop the female wall. Although sturdy, a Divine Weapon could sever them if chopped hard enough.

This time, the Siege Ropes were like suction cups, clinging to the wall five meters below the top.

At that height, Demon Wolves could easily leap atop the wall.

Yi Tian drew his Qing Gang Sword and slashed a burst of Sword Qi at a Siege Rope.

The Sword Qi failed to harm the rope at all.

Evidently, these Siege Ropes were leagues stronger than those used in last month’s assessment.

Mortals have mortal methods of siege; the Celestial Dao World has its own.

The inventor of the Siege Rope was a genius!

The vast wall was now crawling with Demon Wolves, climbing like a swarm of ants.

Now was the best moment for Elemental Warriors and Dragon Sparrow Guards to make their stand.

Whenever a strong Demon Wolf climbed up, he could no longer shield the rest.

Five hundred meters below the city, Wolf Infant gripped his Short Spear, crimson-eyed, staring at Yi Tian, waiting for a chance to ambush him when he nocked another arrow.

Wolf Infant had activated Beast Blood Boiling—his strength and stamina upped by 30%. He was certain he could slay the Lord in one blow.

The battle was dire—so long as he killed the Lord, he would claim the highest merit!

What Wolf Infant didn’t realize was that a Little Kiddo, not even as tall as a battlement, was on tiptoe, secretly watching him.

Yi Tian raised his bow, seemingly aiming at a Late-stage Gold Demon Wolf, but secretly keeping Wolf Infant in his peripheral vision.

”Fourth Child, zap him!”

Yi Tian called softly. Fourth Child leaped from the battlement, pointed, and unleashed Divine Thunder at Wolf Infant.

Electric fire streaked through the air; Wolf Infant didn’t react at all before Divine Thunder slammed into his crown.

Even with Beast Blood Boiling activated, giving him 1800 stamina, Fourth Child’s Divine Thunder was powerful, but couldn’t kill him outright.

But the moment Fourth Child leapt up, Yi Tian spun his bow toward Wolf Infant.
