Global Lords: Me and My Calabash Kiddos

Chapter 137: Chapter 94: Dock, Warship, Tower Ship_2

Twenty Golden Cannons on each side, require B-level Beast Cores.

Yi Tian temporarily bought thirty A-level Beast Cores and fifty B-level Beast Cores.

Total cost: 4.5 million Celestial Dao Coins.

The whole Platinum-level Battleship, not counting ten Beast Cores, costs 13 million Celestial Dao Coins.

On the Level 4 Weapon Platform, the Platinum-level Battleship Design Map, Steel Technology Crystal, Alloy Steel Technology Crystal are all present.

Yi Tian gave the order!

Five minutes later, a warship 100 meters long was docked at the berth.

Platinum-level Battleship, made of pure alloy steel, with a streamlined and elegant look.

Two Platinum Cannons, twenty Golden Cannons, all fitted with Top-level Stone.

On top of the ship’s tower is a ”Lightning Rod”, that’s the warship’s defense system.

The whole ship looks massive, but it’s actually easy to operate.

For power, one A-level Beast Core lets it cruise at 300 km/h for three hours.

Or at 100 km/h for twenty-four hours.

Only three people are needed to operate the vessel.

Additionally, the twenty Golden Cannons and two Platinum ”little cannons” require twenty-two operators.

Actually, twelve will do.

Besides the two Platinum Cannons being movable, the Golden Cannons are on the left and right sides—only one side can fire at a time.

This is a very old design.

Thumbs down!

However, the Platinum Battleship basically relies only on the two Platinum Cannons; the others are auxiliary cannons.

The Platinum Cannons at the bow and stern can swing 180 degrees.

Just turn sideways in battle to strike the enemy with both Platinum Cannons at once.

One Platinum Cannon uses an A-level Beast Core to fire 100 Energy Cannon Shells, with 1000 Attack Power.

Recharges once every five seconds on average.

One Golden Cannon uses a B-level Beast Core to fire 100 Energy Cannon Shells, with 500 Attack Power.

Recharges once every five seconds on average.

The defense system, consuming one A-level Beast Core, can activate a Defense Light Shield that blocks 1500 Attack Power for one hour.

”Detected: territory added one Platinum-level Battleship, Territory Points increased by 15,000.”

Yi Tian simply went on to buy more materials and build the Tower Ship too.

Didn’t Ta Fang say there’s a chance he’d bring a caravan to the territory?

Can’t have them swimming over, can we?

When the time comes, we can use the Tower Ship to greet them—let the Longlong Tribe witness our strength.

Even though we saved Ta Fang and gained favor with the Longlong Tribe,

doesn’t mean Longlong Tribe won’t underestimate us.

There are so many Lords; if cooperation doesn’t bring benefits, it’s pointless.

”Wood*1,000,000, Iron*100,000, Copper*100,000, Plastic*10,000, Gold*10,000, A-level Beast Core*5, Porcelain*1,000, Solar Panel*5, Celestial Dao Coin*100,000......”

Building the Tower Ship, all told, needed dozens of different items.

As for wood, could use High-Level Wood or Mid-grade Wood.

If not available, have to use Ordinary Wood instead.

Total spending: 8.2 million Celestial Dao Coins.

Not cheap at all.

The Tower Ship also runs on Beast Cores, but is slower than the warship, max speed 100 km/h.

One A-level Beast Core, at regular speed, maximum endurance is 48 hours.

Build!

A Tower Ship that looks extremely luxurious is docked at the largest berth.

The Tower Ship’s size is at least twice as big as the Platinum-level Battleship.

Seven floors in total, intricately carved, filled with ancient vibes.

Yi Tian looked and immediately wanted to ride the ship, take the Little Kiddo crew and ride the waves.

Sadly, no wind in the territory!

Don’t know when wind and rain will come, and birds and beasts will show up.

”Detected: territory added one large Tower Ship, Territory Points increased by 5,000. Current Territory Points: 1,152,950.”

Celestial Dao Coin balance: 45 million.

As for the warship crew, definitely not the Dragon Sparrow Guard.

Yi Tian plans to appoint Yun Tao as captain, Yun Che and Yun Hai as vice captains, then give them forty ordinary talent folks to form a navy.

Their strength isn’t high, not much use in battlefield, but for operating cannons on the ship, as long as folks are sharp, 500 attribute and 300 attribute aren’t much different.

”Gu Qianqiu, the road from the dock to the War Manor isn’t open. Take a hundred prisoners, clear a path from the west dock to the west gate of the War Manor. Doesn’t need to be wide, just enough for two people abreast.” Yi Tian saw Gu Qianqiu and gave instructions.

This road, a small mountain between big mountains, is harder than breaking bones.

”As you command, Lord.” Gu Qianqiu accepted the order, going above and beyond.

”Yun Tao, from now on I officially appoint you captain, Yun Hai, Yun Che as vice captains. These ship and warship are now yours. Only one request: if the enemy rows over to attack, sink them in the lake.”

After Gu Qianqiu left, Yi Tian spoke to the arriving Yun Tao, Yun Che, and Yun Hai.

Anyone who joined him in last month’s big exam is seen as an old-timer by Yi Tian.

Yi Tian remembers Yun Tao getting injured three times, and he’s been very brave.

Yun Tao and the others also signed the Lord Contract with Yi Tian back when he was weak.

”Thank you, Lord! We will not let you down. As long as the ship stands, we stand; if the ship sinks, we die.”

The three were so emotional, they knelt on one knee, tears of gratitude streaming down.

As Lord Contract contractors with the Lord, their strength is honestly touching.

Yun Tao’s strength, not even 350. Yun Hai and Yun Che barely over 300.

This kind of strength, in the territory, means nothing!

They want to pursue more, but without real potential, can’t chase it.

Can only rely on relentless hard work to earn Points and improve slowly.

Even the weaker Fire Dragon has a Temporary Prison Chief position.

Now the Lord is valuing them, making their hearts race, blood pound, with that urge to die for someone who truly gets you.

”Go pick forty people. I approve your Beast Cores; practice ship driving and cannon firing in the lake. This Platinum-level Battleship, I’m naming it ’Valor Ship.’ We fear nothing, move ever forward. The Valor Ship isn’t the only one, it’s just our beginning. In the future we’ll have even stronger warships to charge into unknown seas...”

Yi Tian passionately painted the future for them.

Make full use of all resources, everyone to their talents. Everyone has their value.

If you want a good fleet, you need enough training.

Wasting precious cores is inevitable.

Otherwise, when the enemy attacks—

You just shoot blindly.

No matter how mighty the warship is, it’s no better than scrap metal.

Yun Tao and the rest were long since won over by Yi Tian; their eyes burned with zeal.

Before, all they knew was training and fighting for the tribe; didn’t know their dreams or goals.

Now, they know...

......

Next target, Large Training Ground Design Map... Yi Tian checked his balance—not enough.

Celestial Prison Design Map? Not enough either...

Manor? Nope...

Better wait for the personal auction at 3 PM!

With nothing else meanwhile, Yi Tian set his Mercenary status to active.

Began his first B-level Mercenary career.

Right now, most Lords don’t have Mist Scrolls, so inter-Lord wars are rare, and Mercenaries aren’t as hot as before.

Even if there’s a Mist Scroll, when attacking you have to think twice; what if the Lord inside the Mist is a rich guy who hires High-level Mercenaries—you bite off more than you can chew. Right now, Mercenary System’s full of Mercenaries waiting for jobs.

Recently, a bunch of Lords sold everything to become Mercenaries, hoping to catch the trend.

Sadly, it was too short-lived.

In Zone 10086, Sector 66, Yi Tian knows quite a few Mercenaries.

Not even talking about the top-tier like Tianjin Mi, War Shadow, Sam, Shadow Qianqian, Dashao and those guys.

Even the next tier, like Chang Feng and Kong Ming, became Mercenaries.

”Loser Levels” like Shan Dashan, Skage, and Pig Boar also joined in for fun.

Not only D-level Mercenaries, even E-level Mercenaries appeared. Even with no maxed attributes, they rushed to become Mercenaries.

Problem is most Mercenaries’ business isn’t great, especially now; most Mercenaries go active for a day, nobody contacts them.

Those Mercenaries with over a hundred gigs and 100% win rate are super popular— even if their price is higher than others at their level, Lords are happy to hire them.

Why?

Peace of mind!

Because among Mercenaries, quality varies wildly—rampant cases of Mercenaries going rogue and killing their employers.

Even though Mercenaries get booted from the Mercenary System, stuff like that happens all the time.

Those who spent big to become Mercenaries, with low win rates, tend to give up.

See that their employer’s territory is awesome, and start having murderous thoughts.

With that bandit mindset, not expecting to become King of Mercenaries and make bank down the line, just wanting a quick score now.
