Lin Yuan bowed slightly towards the Chikun Star Lord, who was seated on the throne.

“Hahahaha.”

“My good disciple, quickly stand up.”

The Chikun Star Lord immediately said.

His gaze towards Lin Yuan grew increasingly satisfied.

Lin Yuan had truly outdone himself; during this period, he had won so much face for him that, although those old geezers didn’t say much, their envious tones plainly showed they wished they could snatch Lin Yuan away to be their own disciple.

...
“How are you feeling?”

“Are you acclimating well?”

The Chikun Star Lord asked with concern.

It was Lin Yuan’s first time on Chikun Main Star, and he might be somewhat unaccustomed to it.

“Not bad.”

Lin Yuan nodded.

“That’s good then,” the Chikun Star Lord said, a smile appearing on his face.

“If you have any issues, tell your teacher directly.”

The Chikun Star Lord said.

Then,

after talking with the Chikun Star Lord for a while, Lin Yuan got up and left.

…

On the Thirteen Peaks.

Lin Yuan gathered with his twelve senior martial brothers.

“Congratulations, junior brother.”

“Hahaha, finally getting to see you in person, junior brother,” the twelve senior martial brothers warmly greeted him.

“Right, junior brother,” the third senior brother asked, “are you planning to meet Heiyu Mo or not?”

As soon as he said this,

the rest of the senior martial brothers instantly quieted down and turned their gazes to Lin Yuan.

“Heiyu Mo?”

After thinking for a moment, Lin Yuan said, “Better not to meet. There’s nothing worth discussing.”

Lin Yuan had no intention of meeting Heiyu Mo at all.

“Understood,” the third senior brother nodded immediately upon hearing this.

If Lin Yuan were willing to meet with Heiyu Mo,

it would imply there was room for easing tensions between the two.

It was simply a matter of how much Heiyu Mo would have to pay as a price.

But the refusal to meet made Lin Yuan’s intentions crystal clear.

“It’s time to investigate the Heiyu Family,” the second senior brother hinted.

“Leave it to me; the Heiyu Family will halt all commercial activities, all members are forbidden from leaving their resident planets, and accept the surveillance of the Chikun lineage,” the third senior brother declared.

This statement effectively announced the downfall of the Heiyu Family.

The Heiyu Family had a profound influence within the Chikun Star Domain; a direct clampdown wouldn’t look good.

However, by employing surveillance to force a cessation of all activities, it was akin to death by a thousand cuts.

Their decline was a matter of time.

For the Chikun lineage, the Heiyu Family was nothing more than a dog kept outside.

If the dog failed to obey, it could be easily replaced.

Now that the dog had dared to bite its master, it could no longer be kept.

“Thank you, my fellow senior brothers,” Lin Yuan said earnestly.

“What’s there to thank for?”

“We are brothers; in the future, we must support each other,” they responded.

“Yes, this is trivial,” the twelve senior martial brothers said with a chuckle.

…

Half a day later,

Lin Yuan returned to the palace where he had been in seclusion.

“Everything is pretty much taken care of.”

“I can proceed with the traversal,” Lin Yuan gathered his thoughts, his consciousness sinking into his mind, arriving in front of the grand and magnificent Door to the Myriad Realms.

“Let’s first have a look at some information on this traversal…” Lin Yuan allowed a sliver of consciousness to merge into the Door to the Myriad Realms.

In a daze,

Lin Yuan found himself before a colossal, boundless world.

“This world…” in a flash of astonishment, Lin Yuan saw an Immortal Mountain shrouded in Immortal Qi, a wasteland enveloped in ghostly energy, and a massive nest deep in demonic power…

“This world…” outside the Door to the Myriad Realms, Lin Yuan’s expression was grave.

Through the slight touch of his consciousness, he knew that this traversal would grant him a stay of five hundred years in the other world, with the passage of time in the Main World amounting to roughly three to four months.

“Let us begin.” Lin Yuan’s consciousness returned, and after some minor preparations, he announced he was entering seclusion.

Finally, he once again faced the Door to the Myriad Realms; with a slight thought, the door emitted a sucking force, drawing Lin Yuan’s consciousness into it.
