Comprehension Ability: Creating and teaching the Dao in various worlds

Chapter 201: Chapter 6: Mediocre Talent, Too Arrogant (Subscription Requested)

Fifth Rank Evolvers who want to step into the Sixth Rank, the most important prerequisite—

Is that their Soul Compatibility with their fundamental Evolution Path must reach a state of Perfection.

Once Soul Compatibility reaches ten out of ten, the subsequent breakthrough is naturally a matter of course.

However, it’s easier said than done.

Finding an Evolution Path that suits oneself, how is that an easy task?

Sometimes, what seems compatible in early training may suddenly seem incompatible when reaching the Fourth or Fifth Rank—

...
Not compatible anymore?

And those Evolution Paths that seem full of obstacles in early training, leading Evolvers to give up prematurely, may end up being compatible later on?

The Cosmic Human Alliance and the three goddesses encourage citizens to initiate and develop new Evolution Paths, even tilting resources towards this endeavor.

Apart from a supremely secret, unspeakable reason.

It is to provide numerous Evolvers with more choices. If one Evolution Path does not suit, then switch to another, and yet another.

With more options, the number of Sixth Rank Evolvers naturally increases, and once there’s a sufficient base of Sixth Rankers, Seventh and Eighth Rankers will continuously emerge.

This creates a virtuous cycle.

As for that supremely secret, unspeakable reason, it affects the top powerhouses not just of Human Civilization but of the entire Main World Universe Starry Sky.

“The Martial Tao Evolution Path is my own creation, highly compatible with my nature, so transforming Soul Compatibility, for other Evolvers, is a huge problem—they might even waste hundreds or thousands of years on it.”

“But for me, it’s just a walk in the park.”

Lin Yuan exhaled lightly. If he had chosen the Xuan Huang Evolutionary Path as his fundamental Evolution Path, the advancement of his Soul Compatibility would definitely not have matched what it was now.

In fact, Lin Yuan was not suitable for the Xuan Huang Evolutionary Path, and he was completely reliant on his Against-Heaven’s Understanding to cheat his way through.

But in soul compatibility metamorphosis, Against-Heaven’s Understanding would be of little help. It goes without saying that had he chosen the Xuan Huang Evolutionary Path, he wouldn’t even have taken the first step by now.

…

After finishing his training.

Lin Yuan walked out of the main building and onto the estate’s grassy field.

His parents were leisurely basking in the sun there, despite the various entertainment activities available in the Virtual World.

Lin Shoucheng and his wife still preferred reality, and only occasionally visited the Virtual World for some fun.

“Ohhhh.”

In the sky, a streak of light was flying swiftly.

Lin Yuan didn’t need to look to know it was his sister, Lin Yi.

The Evolution Path that Lin Yi had chosen was the ‘Psychic’ Evolution Path.

This Evolution Path was widely disseminated and did not pose difficult prerequisites to start training—one just needed higher mental strength than the average person.

The Psychic Evolution Path essentially develops an Evolver’s telekinetic power to interfere with reality. At the First and Second Layer, the attack mode of Psychics is mostly physical.

It involves using telekinesis to wield one or more weapons and then attacking the enemy.

Similarly, Psychics are among the few Evolvers who can achieve ‘alternative’ flight before reaching a higher rank.

That is by controlling a weapon telekinetically, standing on it, and then flying with the weapon.

Of course, this form of flight, whether in terms of speed or stability, falls far short of true flight.

“Let’s see how the training goes in the future.”

Lin Yuan thought to himself.

He did not allow Lin Yi to train in Martial Tao. No matter how much potential the Martial Tao Evolution Path held, it was not suitable for everyone.

…

After exchanging a few words with his family,

Lin Yuan returned to the underground training area in the main building.

Just as Lin Yuan was about to continue refining the Martial Arts Evolution System,

The voice of the smart assistant suddenly came.

“Master.”

“Mr. Ao from the Heiyu Family would like to see you.”

“Heiyu Ao?” Lin Yuan sighed in his heart.

After learning from Captain of the Guard Troops Hou Ming that Heiyu Ao had a relentless personality,

Lin Yuan realized that refusing the invitation from the elderly man in black, Bei Zhao, didn’t mean the matter was over.

“Let’s meet.”

After pondering for a while, Lin Yuan still thought it best to meet and clear things up.

With a well-established legal system and the three goddesses ruling from above, as long as Lin Yuan didn’t agree, Heiyu Ao couldn’t do anything to him.

The Virtual World.

Personal space.

Lin Yuan met Mr. Ao from the Heiyu Family.

He was only one and a half meters tall but had dark patterns on his skin, emitting an aura of nobility standing there.

It’s said that the Heiyu Family’s bloodline is not purely Human Race but contains Different Species bloodline.

This phenomenon is quite common in Human Civilization. Procreating with powerful Different Species might give birth to a peerless genius.

“Younger brother Lin Yuan,”

Heiyu Ao greeted warmly.

To recruit Lin Yuan and continue with the business plan laid out by the Heiyu Family’s Think Tank, Heiyu Ao had lowered his stance as much as possible.

He longed to return to his family, longed to sit on the throne of the patriarch second only to one.

“Mr. Ao.”

Lin Yuan nodded slightly.

Both men took their seats.

Heiyu Ao didn’t go straight to the point but instead diverted the topic: “These years, I’ve often watched arena competition videos and realized that our Human Civilization truly has so many, many talents.”

“Like in the Dark Spirit Star Domain, a peerless genius was born, awaking the Dark Elf Bloodline and naturally feeling an extraordinary closeness to the laws of darkness.”

“Such aptitude, casually cultivating any Dark Series Evolutionary Route, can easily transition from Fifth to Sixth Rank during soul metamorphosis, and reaching the Seventh Rank in the future is also highly probable, tsk tsk tsk…”
