Get Stronger by Pleasing Pokémon? Who Needs to Be a Trainer!

”Mm…”

Under the dazzling night sky, the Shiny Rayquaza slowly opened its eyes. With a slight flex of its claw, a chunk of the meteor it rested on broke off. It picked it up and swallowed it.

As it chewed, the rock seemed to vanish entirely.

”Ang…” (How long have I been asleep?)

The Shiny Rayquaza sensed the flow of energy within itself. A flicker of curiosity passed through its mind.

It looked down at the blue planet below, where a familiar energy shimmered at a certain spot.

”Ang…” (Why has it taken my form?)

As the guardian of the skies, it could sense that someone was borrowing its power.

And it was… that little cat-like Pokémon, Mew, always so full of energy, wandering the world without a care.

What exactly was it doing?

Rayquaza thought, After all these years, it still wanders freely every day. Maybe I should revoke its symbiotic bond with the Tree of Life.

But it had neither the strength nor the authority to do so.

It paused for a moment, deciding not to seek Mew out, and closed its eyes again.

But after a long while, it realized… it had slept too long. Now it could not return to rest.

Since I can’t sleep, I might as well see what’s going on, Rayquaza thought.

...

”In short, Mew is a Pokémon that can transform into any other Pokémon.”

”And when it becomes Rayquaza, the guardian of the skies, as you saw, it’s still an incredibly powerful and majestic Pokémon.”

In the garden, Lin Feng concluded his little educational session.

The towering Shiny Rayquaza had returned to its normal form, only to change again before the curious eyes of the Pokémon, transforming into others sometimes a Shaymin, sometimes a Pidgey, sometimes an Eevee.

Everyone gasped in delight.

When Mew’s transformation showcase ended, Lin Feng brought out the Tree of Life tea.

”All right, have some tea. Time to sleep…”

Lin Feng’s composure wavered slightly, realizing he was encouraging everyone to rest after tea.

Luckily, no one objected. After eating the glowing cookies and playing so much, they drank the tea readily.

Lin Feng eagerly looked at them. ”Has anyone learned a new skill?”

The Eevees looked at each other, shaking their heads.

Blaziken shook its head.

Glaceon shook its head.

Finally, Lin Feng’s gaze landed on a Shaymin wearing a small red strawberry ornament.

It raised its tiny paw weakly, then released a small Aura Sphere.

”Shaymin?” (Is that it?)

”Shh…”

Seeing the Shaymin release an Aura Sphere, Lin Feng gasped. He couldn’t believe the little creature before him.

He recognized it. This was the same Shaymin that had accidentally triggered Blue Flame and Magic Spark before.

In other words, after all this time, luck had again favored it.

”Yes, yes, that’s it! Shaymin, your luck is incredible!”

Lin Feng couldn’t help but scoop it up in his arms.

Pokémon: Shaymin

”Shaymin?”

After drinking the tea, the Shaymin felt lighter, more agile, and more aware of the world around it.

When Lin Feng asked, it naturally released the Aura Sphere.

”Shaymin?”

”Shaymin!”

Before Lin Feng could fully rejoice, another Shaymin peeked out, seemingly learning the skill as well.

Lin Feng blinked. Nearby, a Matcha-flavored Shaymin concentrated an Aura Sphere above its head.

And it didn’t stop there.

A Snow-Salt-flavored Shaymin immediately followed, forming its own Aura Sphere.

”Shh…”

Lin Feng had just contributed to global Pokémon brilliance.

He hadn’t expected that the recipients of the Tree of Life’s blessing would be this adorable group.

The other Shaymin, who hadn’t yet grasped Aura power, watched enviously.

They didn’t particularly care about mastering Aura power, but seeing it made Lin Feng happy.

Lin Feng misread the situation, thinking they were envious.

He reassured them, ”Don’t worry, the Tree of Life tea is still here. Eventually, everyone will learn this skill.”

As for the source of the Tree of Life leaves… naturally, Lin Feng had gotten them from Mew, who always appeared punctually at mealtimes.

Mew, having entertained so many Pokémon today, felt a sudden chill sweep over it but, carefree as ever, continued playing with Jirachi.

Seeing this, Lin Feng grew more confident.

Letting all these Pokémon try would test the chances of obtaining Aura power.

And now, it seemed this probability was at least three times higher than before!

Knowing this, Lin Feng calmly raised his cup again.

After all, gaining Aura power was inevitable; it was just a matter of time.

”Xiu xiu…”

At that moment, Serperior’s voice sounded.

Lin Feng looked over.

On Serperior’s tail, shimmering with a teal-green light, energy began to concentrate, soon forming a sphere.

The orb’s surface shimmered with intricate teal patterns.

Lin Feng froze, unsure why Serperior was suddenly using an energy sphere.

But the next moment, as Serperior channeled its energy, blue streaks began swirling through the teal, as though another power had infused it.

Lin Feng’s eyes lit up.

He realized instantly.

This was Aura power. Serperior had comprehended it and immediately applied it skillfully to the energy sphere.

Aura Sphere’s property is that it always hits if energy remains.

Yet Serperior had taken it a step further, embedding Aura power directly into the sphere itself.

Now, the energy sphere would surely hit as long as the energy persisted.

”Xiu xiu…”

Lin Feng was even more stunned as he watched Serperior’s display.
