”Cha!” (How long will this glow last?)

Blaziken exclaimed in shock.

This pink light did it really have to look so awkward?

”Uh…”

Lin Feng shook his head. He didn’t really know either.

”But it should last between half an hour to an hour. Do you want to eat more?”

Blaziken thought for a moment. Since it was already glowing, why not eat a little more?

Without hesitation, it picked up a plate holding over a dozen little cookies and devoured them all in one go, completely ignoring the increasingly strange looks from Lin Feng and Gardevoir.

”Cha~” (Delicious!)

After finishing, Blaziken let out a satisfied sigh. Then, noticing Lin Feng’s gaze, it froze, instinctively glancing at itself.

The pink glow had vanished. In its place… a dazzling display of multicolored lights shimmered across its body, flashing like neon.

”Cha?”

Blaziken froze in disbelief, staring at its trainer. ”Cha?” (Why are these colors stacking?)

”Uh… you didn’t ask…” Lin Feng replied casually.

”But it does look pretty a sparkling Blaziken…”

He nodded seriously, though he couldn’t suppress a laugh. ”Pfft…”

Originally, he expected the glow to fade in a couple of hours. But by nightfall, it was still there, only slightly dimmed.

It was amusing. During dinner, there was no need to turn on the lights. Blaziken itself served as a glowing, power-free lamp.

Everyone gathered around, amazed.

”Shaymin?” (Why are you glowing like that!?)

”Ying ying ying!” (It’s glowing! So beautiful…)

”Yuyu?”

”Flora…”

Even Milotic curiously stared at Blaziken.

”Cha mo…”

Blaziken had no words.

Lin Feng didn’t keep the secret. He distributed the colorful cookies on plates and explained their effects.

”These are the cookies made from the colorful pumpkin Serperior brought today, mixed with flour. The color you eat will glow on your body. If you want a specific color, just eat that color cookie.”

The giant pumpkin was no small thing larger than the watermelons Lin Feng had grown before. Using it generously was no problem.

So far, he had only used a quarter of it. The rest would be used carefully over the next few days.

To preserve it, Lin Feng even asked Gardevoir to create a vacuum field with telekinesis.

”Xiu xiu?”

Serperior, curious, lifted a pale green cookie with its vines. Hesitant, it bit into it.

Sure enough, its body began emitting a vibrant green glow, like a shining emerald.

Aslan’s eyes lit up.

Beautiful…

”Shaymin~”

After one Pokémon ate, the others quickly became interested.

The Shaymin, Milotic, and Eevees all flocked to the cookies matching their colors, eagerly eating them.

Soon, a dozen glowing little ”light bulbs” adorned the table.

And today’s newly evolved Pokémon Shaymin, Eevee, Sealeo…

The garden, already bursting with colors, now gleamed even brighter. The Combee, mistaking the glow for daylight, buzzed out to collect pollen.

Lately, the Combee had grown more diligent, probably preparing extra food for Lin Feng as winter approached.

At that moment, Mew, who had been taking Jirachi out, finally returned to Willow Town.

It perked up at the familiar surroundings and, tugging Jirachi along, quickly flew toward the garden.

But upon arriving, it paused.

The garden looked… different from usual.

Everyone was glowing in various colors.

”Yo meow?”

Mew hurried over to Lin Feng, Jirachi in tow. ”Yo meow?” (What’s going on? Why is everyone glowing?)

Jirachi’s face mirrored curiosity, tinged with envy.

Everyone was sparkling, and it wanted to sparkle too.

”Hmm? Where have you two been?”

Lin Feng asked, curious as he saw Mew and Jirachi return.

Excited, Jirachi replied, ”We went to a huge, tall tree. There were so many Pokémon I’ve never seen before, and glowing stones everywhere. It was so beautiful! The tree even talked…”

Lin Feng’s eyes widened. ”You went to the Tree of Life?”

He was surprised. Mew had grown so close to Jirachi that it could take it straight to the Tree.

”Yo meow~”

Mew covered its mouth, laughing, avoiding a direct answer, instead focusing on the colorful cookies on the table.

Having stayed with Lin Feng so long, it knew he often produced odd foods with strange effects. The glowing Pokémon were the result of these cookies.

Lin Feng explained, ”These cookies glow according to their color. Eat a color, and your body glows that color.”

The two mythical Pokémon brightened instantly and flew to the cookies.

”Jirachi~ Can I eat one, Lin Feng?”

”Of course.” Lin Feng nodded.

”Jirachi~”

Jirachi cheered, picking a yellow cookie that matched its own body.

After eating, its body glowed a bright yellow.

”Jirachi~! I’m glowing too!”

Jirachi hovered in the air, laughing like a child discovering something new.

Mew ate a pink cookie and followed Jirachi, their glowing bodies streaking across the dimming sky like twin comet trails.

On the ground, Glaceon ate a white cookie. The Eevees ate green, rainbow, and dark-colored ones.

They, along with a Smoochum who ate a purple cookie, chased each other across the lawn.

”Bu yi…”

”Ying ying ying…”

”Nian nian…”

Red, green, yellow, pink all these colors interwove across the garden.

Seeing this, Lin Feng realized something was missing…

Music.

This looked like a full-on disco!

Without hesitation, he summoned Rotom to play music.

It wasn’t pop, just the theme from ”Pikachu Hero” that Glaceon and the Eevees loved.

When the music started, the Eevees and Glaceon, who had been frolicking in the grass, immediately leapt out and playfully ”attacked” Smoochum with pretend electric shocks.

Watching them, Lin Feng shook his head and picked up a black cookie for himself.

As the black glow shimmered on him, he also took out a second leaf of the Tree of Life from his storage ball. Pouring hot water over it in a kettle, he prepared a tea infusion.

The cookies enhanced luck; this tea could potentially awaken a Pokémon’s aura power.

But steeping the tea required time. The Eevees and Glaceon were still playing wildly.

Lin Feng calmly looked to Gardevoir.

The lights were on, the music was playing, so a little drink was inevitable.

Gardevoir sat elegantly at the table, sipping honey grape wine occasionally.

Since discovering that this wine could even boost its psychic abilities, it enjoyed drinking it more.

Its body did not glow.

Lin Feng’s eyes twinkled. He took one of the remaining pink cookies and offered it to Gardevoir. ”Don’t you want to try?”

”Gardevoir?”

Gardevoir looked at the cookie and then at Lin Feng’s expectant expression, a small smile forming. ”Gardevoir,” (Alright, I’ll try it.)

It took a bite, and immediately a pink glow emanated from its body.

Amazing.

There was no strange feeling, only the glow.

As expected of its trainer always creating these odd, wonderful foods.

Gardevoir wasn’t fond of glowing, especially in the wild where it would draw attention from other Pokémon.

But now it was safe, and like Shaymin, Blaziken, and Sealeo, it had a place to belong.

”Hehe…”

Seeing Gardevoir’s pink glow, Lin Feng couldn’t help but grin.

Blue hair shining pink it looked really good.

He picked another cookie, ate it, and his body glowed pink too.

Afterward, his first thought was: Next, I should make food that can remove any status effect.

Otherwise, some culinary effects could be truly strange.

What if Pokémon turned green, glowed, or suddenly grew huge or shrank? That would be a disaster.

Imagine a gigantic Dragonite stepping on the plantation…

While lost in thought, a sudden roar shattered the evening sky.

”Ang!”

Lin Feng froze, then noticed Dragonite and Salamence tense up, their heads tilting skyward.

Tonight was cloudy. Heavy clouds suggested rain tomorrow.

Within the thick clouds, a shadow appeared.

Its long body, dozens of meters in length, moved like a celestial dragon, cutting through the clouds.

Its energy surged like a god of the sky.

Black scales shimmered. Its deep black eyes glowed faintly yellow, emanating a divine pressure.

Lin Feng jumped up in shock. ”No way… Rayquaza?!”

But as the clouds parted…

His shock vanished instantly.

The ”Rayquaza” in the sky glowed pink.

He didn’t remember any Rayquaza eating his cookies.

This wasn’t a real Rayquaza it was Mew transforming.

It seemed Jirachi had shared past stories, and Mew had taken on the form of the legendary Sky God.

And it was Shiny.

”Jirachi! That’s it! That’s it!”

Excited, yellow-glowing Jirachi flew to Lin Feng. ”Lin Feng, Mew is amazing! It can not only become me, but also… the Sky God!”

Lin Feng replied, ”It can probably transform into nearly any Pokémon.”

After calming Dragonite and Salamence, he gazed at the Shiny ”Rayquaza” in awe.

Among his favorite Pokémon, besides fluffy ones, he liked cool and cute Pokémon.

Rayquaza definitely fell into his ideal type.

He often imagined flying to space on one, like he had once wished to ride Arceus as a child.

Now, the chance was right in front of him.

He called out, ”Mew, come down.”

In an instant, the dragon-like body broke through the clouds. Its jet-black form glowed under its own light.

Sharp claws, yellow rings of light, crimson mouth, and… eyes carrying a playful smile.

”Cha?”

”Ying ying ying?!”

”Bu yi!”

”Ang!”

The ”Rayquaza” landing startled nearly every Pokémon, some taking defensive stances.

Only after Lin Feng explained that it was the little ”cat-like” Pokémon who always begged for food did they relax.

Still, everyone crowded around, astonished that such a small Pokémon could transform into something so huge and intimidating.

Helpless, Lin Feng assumed the role of Pokémon lecturer. ”I haven’t told you all yet… Mew…”

Meanwhile, far out in space…

On a massive meteor, a figure perched silently, slowly opening its eyes.
