I Have the Alchemy Emperor in My Head

Chapter 364: The Competition for Instructors Begins

Very quickly, a group of alchemy students was gathered, and the bus to the school departed. During this process, the boys on the bus started striking up conversations with Bai Ling’er because of her beauty.

Students who were able to gain admission to Federation University, regardless of whether they were civil or military, were the cream of the crop. This modern society did not produce socially awkward citizens. Therefore, regardless of whether they were beautiful or ugly, all of these boys were very confident in themselves. They were the cream of the crop among the students of their old school. They naturally dared to walk up and start a conversation.

But to Bai Ling’er, they were clearly not enough. She simply ignored them. These boys were smart. Bai Ling’er’s attitude was obvious. They did not continue to pester her. They knew that if they continued to pester her, they would only leave a bad impression on her.

Bai Ling’er and Chu Yunfan did not talk along the way. And finally, they arrived at The Metropolis. Although the schools of modern society were big, compared to the city that surrounded Federation University, they were like peanuts.

Different departments were scattered everywhere, each occupying a large area. After registering, Chu Yunfan was assigned his dorm and separated from Bai Ling’er.

Seeing as how large The Metropolis was, each student was assigned to their own villa. The rich atmosphere of Federation University was evident. The other top ten universities were only able to allocate one apartment to be shared among a few people. And that was already considered quite generous.

The technology of modern society was constantly improving. But in reality, the environment that the human race faced was bad. Most of the world was occupied by monsters. This resulted in the continuous rise in land prices.

The reason why so many villas had been built was a decision made by the Federation University’s president. According to his words, those who could enter Federation University were the future elites of the Federation. Since they were elites, they should be treated as such. Especially the students of the martial arts class. They needed sufficient personal space to train.

This was one of the signs that Federation University was full of generosity.

When Chu Yunfan arrived at the villa area, he discovered that there were already many students moving in. When he got to his assigned villa, he scanned his pupils, scanned his fingerprints, and entered his information. This three-story villa was considered his. It was to be his living quarters for his next four years at Federation University.

After bringing out his luggage from the Mountain River Diagram, Chu Yunfan received a message. He had been invited to participate in the competition for instructors tomorrow at nine in the morning. But this competition was not happening in the real world. Instead, it would be happening on the virtual network. There were thousands of students participating in this competition. If it were to happen in the real world, it would be a huge amount of work.

The university was to officially start classes in three days. They would only start classes after they’ve confirmed the instructors for each student.

Chu Yunfan was not in a hurry to contact Tang Siyu and Gao Hongzhi. They would surely meet again anyway. He planned to take advantage of this opportunity to enter the ninth level of the Energy Refinement Stage. If he could do that, was 100% certain that he would be able to win the competition.

After a night of silence, although Chu Yunfan had not achieved a breakthrough, he was one step closer to the ninth level of the Energy Refinement Stage.

Early the next morning, Chu Yunfan connected to the virtual network through the device provided in the villa. This was his first time entering the network and had to first carry out an update. After updating his latest state into the virtual network, he was sent to a huge venue.

A venue that could hold thousands of people was beyond imagination. It was shocking. The place was packed, and only a sea of people could be seen.

Soon, Chu Yunfan received a message from Tang Siyu and Gao Hongzhi. He was instantly teleported to their side. After more than a month, the two of them had also changed a lot.

Gao Hongzhi’s aura was more stable. He had stepped into the sixth level of the Energy Refinement Stage. In these two months, he had improved a lot, but the gap between him and Chu Yunfan was now bigger than ever.

“D*mn, how did you become so strong?!” Gao Hongzhi had been full of confidence. These two months had not been in vain, but he knew that he was still no match for Chu Yunfan. He was afraid that he would not be able to withstand even one strike from Chu Yunfan.

Gao Hongzhi could not help but admit gloomily that some people were just born to attack others.

Meanwhile, Chu Yunfan looked at Tang Siyu. Tang Siyu’s improvement was even greater. She had stepped into the eighth level of the Energy Refinement Stage. This leap was really too astonishing.

“Let’s forget about this freak. Siyu, what are you playing at?” Gao Hongzhi asked straightforwardly.

“I was about to tell you guys. I’m just here to go through the process. I already have a instructor. No matter the outcome, it’s already decided,” Tang Siyu said. She clearly was not happy.

“Was this instructor arranged by your family? Or maybe the Jiangs?” Chu Yunfan asked.

“She’s one of my cousins. An Innate expert. She’s currently teaching at Federation University. Over the past two months, she has been putting me through special training,” Tang Siyu said lightly.

Chu Yunfan and Gao Hongzhi suddenly understood. No wonder Tang Siyu had made such significant improvements. For an Innate expert to condescend and personally guide a junior for two months, it would be strange if her improvement had not been great.

An Innate instructor was one of the best instructors in Federation University. Moreover, the Tangs’ had poured all of their resources into Tang Siyu, so it was normal for her to improve so quickly.

In the past, Tang Siyu had been able to reach this level because of her efforts. Now, with the help of her family, she was like a tiger with wings.

“Are the two of you flaunting the fact that you have strong family backgrounds?” Gao Hongzhi said gloomily, “I used to think I was the richest kid in the world, but now I feel like sh*t compared to the two of you!”

It’s like, I thought everyone was just tooting their horn. But when you guys became the stars, turns out I was the only one tooting my horn.

“But isn’t your family always trying to control you? Why have they suddenly changed their attitude?” Chu Yunfan asked.

Tang Siyu smiled bitterly and said, “Because of the Jiangs’ request. Apparently, I have to be worthy of Jiang Lingxiao.”

“F*ck! Are these guys even human?!” Gao Hongzhi could not help but curse.

Seeing their concerned expressions, Tang Siyu said, “Don’t worry, I’m not ungrateful. This is also a good thing for me. The stronger I am, the more likely I am to be rid of the shackles that the Jiangs and my family have placed on me.”

Seeing that Tang Siyu was optimistic, Chu Yunfan was relieved. Not long after, the three of them received the signal that the competition had begun. After confirming their positions, the three of them disappeared and entered their respective battle zones.
