Medic Martial Dragon King

Chapter 606: Chapter 106 Jiang Chen Assists_1

Scar had chosen to join Long Yan not only because Long Yan had saved him and his men, but also because he saw the pure, unadulterated feelings among some brothers of Long Yan.

Especially at the time, Xuan Long, An Long, as well as the ten brothers from Storm, Thunder, Lightning, Ice, Fire, Frenzy, and Gentle—they were the kind of brothers who would never betray each other, even with a gun to their heads.

Such brotherhood made Scar yearn deeply for it. Furthermore, Xuan Long and the others were from the Flame Dragon Kingdom, the people he was most familiar with since childhood. His mother was from the Flame Dragon Kingdom, and he had spent his childhood there.

Later, when he met Jiang Chen, and especially when Jiang Chen nearly fell out with Howard from the Dark Night Angel over Mengte De’er and Xing Fei, Scar distinctly felt the murderous intent Jiang Chen released. He also believed that if Howard refused to stop the fight between Xing Fei and Maguire, Jiang Chen would definitely take action to subdue Howard and threaten the Dark Angel, not ruling out the possibility of killing Howard.

A boss who would disregard his own safety for his brother and friends was worth following!

Due to all these reasons, combined with the trouble Mengda Ge’er brought today, Scar decided to come clean with Jiang Chen and the others.

”Scar, about this matter...” Jiang Chen started softly.

”Dragon King!”

Scar interrupted, his face resolute, ”Since you’ve said this, I will strive for it. This time, I’ll make Ge’er Kusi withdraw Mengda Ge’er and his men. Before the Heir Competition, those eligible for the title of heir cannot use the Ge’er Family’s clan power against each other, and this naturally includes the people from the Spa Training Camp!”

”But by doing this, you...” Jiang Chen slightly furrowed his brows.

Scar gave a slight smile, ”Dragon King, I may need your help.”

”Just say it!” Jiang Chen nodded emphatically.

Scar spoke earnestly, ”You don’t have to worry about my safety. The Blazing Flame Mercenary Corps was established by Ge’er Kusi for me—it’s my power. When the time comes, our two mercenary corps will attack together, and the Dark Spider will definitely be defeated.

However, the Heir Competition is not based solely on martial strength; there are other aspects to the competition, including commercial influence.

I know you must be the young master of a certain family from the Flame Dragon Kingdom, or perhaps you are the boss of a large conglomerate. I may need your support when the time comes.

Of course, if your family doesn’t allow it, that’s fine too. I also have my own connections, at the very least, to avoid too much embarrassment,” Scar said candidly.

Jiang Chen smiled faintly, ”You don’t need to mention it; I will work hard on my own development. However, before the competition, I can’t openly reveal that my company supports you. I hope you can understand that.”

”Of course. There’s no need for you to expose yourself in advance. I don’t even need you to show up in person. Just have Long, my brother, come with me to the family later, and then give Long a position in your company. If it’s needed, let Long reveal this position; if not, then there’s no need,” Scar said hurriedly, nodding his head.

”Ge’er Yan, with these words, you are underestimating me, Jiang Chen!”

Jiang Chen looked deeply at Scar, ”To talk now is to speak prematurely. I will respond to you with action when the time comes!”

After pausing, Jiang Chen moved on from the topic, ”Ge’er Yan, you deal with Mengda Ge’er and his problems first. I have less than two months to take down the Dark Spider and let the sect forces feel pain, so they don’t dare target Long Yan again!”

”Yes!” Scar nodded firmly, took out his mobile phone, and walked aside to make a call.

Mengda Ge’er glanced at Scar, his expression solemn, ”Once Mr. Ge’er Yan’s identity is revealed, Long Yan may be targeted by the other sons of Mr. Ge’er Kusi!”

”It’s not that serious,” Jiang Chen waved his hand, ”After all, Scar doesn’t have much of a foundation in the Ge’er Family, and now that we’re going to confront Ge’er Te, others won’t intervene. They’d love to see Scar and Ge’er Te fight to the death!”

Mengda Ge’er was stunned for a moment, then, after some thought, he nodded in agreement with Jiang Chen’s point of view.

”Dragon King, Kuang Shi will be coming over soon,” Scar said after finishing the call and returning to Jiang Chen’s side.

Jiang Chen nodded, ”Good, Kuang Shi. At least his impression of us is still fairly positive, and he’s not someone who likes scheming. We can be a bit more open with him.”

After thinking for a bit, Jiang Chen gestured to Xuan Long to come closer, and Xuan Long leaned in to listen.

”Give Xing Fei a...” Jiang Chen instructed in a low voice.

Xuan Long was slightly taken aback, then nodded and turned to Xing Fei, ”Xing Fei, come with me.”

Xing Fei was surprised for a moment, but when she saw Jiang Chen nod, she followed Xuan Long out of the room.

”Mengda Ge’er, work hard, and when your strength reaches the Semi Innate Peak, come find me. I’ll have a gift for you,” Jiang Chen said with a light smile to Mengda Ge’er.

Mengda Ge’er blinked in confusion, ”A gift? Mr. Jiang, what are you going to give me?”

”I can’t tell you now, but you’ll definitely be satisfied,” Jiang Chen replied with a slight smile.

Mengda Ge’er’s eyebrows lifted, and his expression suddenly became serious: ”Mr. Jiang, you’ve spared my life and saved my brother’s life. I can’t accept more from you. Just tell me what you need me to do.”

Jiang Chen chuckled softly, ”That thing will be a gift to you, of course. If you feel uneasy about it, you can join Long Yan, but that’s after you’ve taken that thing. For now, just stay put in the Spa Training Camp.”

”This...” Mengda Ge’er hesitated for a moment, then stopped speaking and nodded lightly, falling silent.

Mengda Ge’er was a person of great loyalty and honor. The Spa Training Camp had given him a chance to live, and Jiang Chen had not only spared his life but had also saved his brother’s. He owed a massive debt of gratitude to both sides and would find it truly difficult to choose between them. Since Jiang Chen had said that they would discuss it later, he decided to postpone that worry for the time being.

Ding dong!

A doorbell rang, and Mengte De’er got up to open the door. Seeing the visitor, Mengte De’er greeted, ”Vice commander Kuang Shi.”

”Mm!” Kuang Shi nodded and stepped into the room, followed by an elegant man wearing glasses.

After glancing around the room, Kuang Shi looked solemnly at Jiang Chen, ”Mr. Jiang, I didn’t expect us to meet again so soon. May I ask, are you Mr. Ge’er Yan?”

”I am not,” Jiang Chen shook his head and turned to look at Scar.

Without a word, Scar pulled a ring with a skull from his pocket and put it on. Atop the skull was a dagger, a longsword, and a gun crossed over one another, forming a pattern.

”You, you’re Mr. Ge’er Yan?” Kuang Shi asked in astonishment, looking at Scar, then suddenly bowed deeply, ”Blazing Flame Kuang Shi, at your service, Mr. Ge’er Yan.”

”Blazing Flame Yan Mo, at your service, Mr. Ge’er Yan,” the elegant middle-aged man also bowed and spoke.
