Medic Martial Dragon King

Chapter 363: Chapter 363: Show Me Your Fist Technique Once

”Lin Zhiyan, I truly...”

Jiang Chen was in the school library when he received a call from Lin Zhiyan and was about to explain.

”Mr. Jiang, you listen to me well, I am now in Jingming Martial Arts Dojo directly across from the school alley. If you don’t come, I’m going to your school and will say you molested me; I’ll let everyone at your school know!” But Lin Zhiyan didn’t wait for Jiang Chen to finish and cut him off mid-sentence.

Speechless, Jiang Chen shook his head, ”Fine, wait there for me; I’m on my way.”

After hanging up the phone, Jiang Chen put the book in his hands back on the shelf, shook his head helplessly, and turned to walk towards the library exit.

Leaving the school and arriving at the entrance of Jingming Martial Arts Dojo, Jiang Chen was stunned.

Above the entrance where the dojo’s signboard should have been, there was a rectangular mark; it was obvious that the signboard had been violently removed!

Could it be that violent little girl, Lin Zhiyan?

With a hint of suspicion, Jiang Chen stepped into the dojo and was taken aback once more.

Upon entering, the first thing that struck his vision wasn’t the crowd, but rather the two halves of the signboard on the ground.

A dojo’s signboard is its face. With the signboard dismantled and kicked in half, someone was clearly causing trouble!

”Jiang Chen?!” a cry of surprise sounded, Jiang Chen looked up with a frown.

Xu Zhiyan?

At that moment, the people inside the dojo were clearly divided into two groups. The dojo’s staff stood at the east side of the sparring platform, while the members of the combat club stood at the west. The shout came from the combat club’s side, with Xu Zhiyan staring daggers at Jiang Chen, his eyes flaming with rage.

After scanning around the dojo, Jiang Chen began to understand what had happened and moved toward Lin Zhiyan, who was with the dojo’s staff.

”Teacher Shanben, this is the man who hit me. You must take revenge for me!” Xu Zhiyan then ran to Shanben Liang’s side, pointing at Jiang Chen.

But Shanben Liang didn’t need to be told. His eyes were already bulging with fury as he glared at Jiang Chen, filled with resentment.

Ha, good! So it’s this guy, huh! Yesterday you made me look like a fool, and I was worried I couldn’t find you. But now you’ve come to me? Today I’ll make sure to teach you a good lesson!

When Shanben Liang encountered Jiang Chen yesterday, he only knew that Jiang Chen had made the Crown Prince retreat; he had no idea about Jiang Chen’s actual skills.

In his view, someone like Jiang Chen could absolutely not be his match!

Jiang Chen also recognized Shanben Liang, but he didn’t care. He directly approached Lin Zhiyan and asked with certainty, ”What’s the situation, a martial contest?”

Lin Zhiyan briefly explained what had happened and handed her phone with the recorded video to Jiang Chen.

After watching, Jiang Chen couldn’t help but cast another glance at Shanben Liang, a cold smirk forming on his lips.

”Boy, if you have the guts, come up here. Today I am going to teach you a lesson!” Shanben Liang stared at Jiang Chen, his face full of arrogance as he thought about how to regain his lost face from yesterday.

Jiang Chen still smirked and lightly shook his head, ”If I fought you, it would only take one finger to finish you off. Did I hear the dojo master lost to you? Then let the dojo master defeat you again!”

Everyone was taken aback, looking at Jiang Chen with confusion, not understanding what he meant.

”Ha, to let this defeated subordinate beat me? Are you dreaming? Even if he practices for another ten or eight years, he couldn’t possibly defeat me!” Shanben Liang spoke with utter arrogance.

Lu Jingming had by now regained consciousness, his complexion ashen. He gave Jiang Chen a wry smile, with a look of confusion and deep sadness in his eyes. Are you mocking me? I deserve it, I failed; it’s only right to be ridiculed!

”What’s the matter, Jiang Chen? Scared now? Lost your nerve? Weren’t you all high and mighty at school? Now that you’ve met a real master, you’re shaking in your boots?” Xu Zhiyan said mockingly, looking at Jiang Chen with derision.

Jiang Chen didn’t even glance at Xu Zhiyan, holding his phone and watching the video of Lu Jingming fighting Shanben Liang. He looked up at Lu Jingming and said in a serious, soft voice, ”Mr. Lu, could you show me your boxing technique again?”

Lu Jingming was startled for a moment and frowned slightly, feeling indignant.

What does he mean?

He wants me to demonstrate my technique to him?

Is this some kind of insult? Who does he think he is!

”Mr. Lu, if he asks you to demonstrate, just do it. He won’t ask you to demonstrate for nothing!” Lin Zhiyan turned her head to look at Lu Jingming, her admiration for Jiang Chen’s martial arts cultivation was genuine. Shen Zhenguo had studied the cultivation technique for decades without finding a way to fix it, yet Jiang Chen resolved it in just a few days, which was beyond human capacity.

Lu Jingming glanced at Lin Zhiyan, knowing her identity, and hesitated for a moment before starting to demonstrate his learned boxing technique.

”What... what is Mr. Lu doing?”

”Don’t know, is he teaching that kid?”

”Isn’t that guy the one Miss Lin brought to challenge the fighters here? Why is he learning on the spot?”

”Can this kid really handle it? He seems so unreliable!”

The martial arts academy’s staff did not catch their conversation and began to whisper among themselves filled with doubts.

Shanben Liang watched Jiang Chen with a cold smirk, confident in himself no matter what Jiang Chen was doing.

”Jiang Chen, are you trying to cram at the last minute? Is this how you earned your reputation as the ’New King’ of Dingjing University, by scrambling at the last moment?” Xu Zhiyan mocked again.

”The New King? He’s the ’New King’ of Dingjing University?”

”I heard he beat up an instructor right after he enrolled, and the head instructor had to personally come and apologize!”

”And he’s a real tycoon, too. He drives the only Knight XV in Dingjing, worth fifteen million!”

”Also, I know something else, he’s Yè Yùwǎn’s songwriter and composer; all of her songs are written by him!”

Only then did the martial arts academy’s students realize Jiang Chen’s identity, and they burst into excitement, looking at Jiang Chen with surprise.

Jiang Chen wasn’t distracted by the voices around him, staring intently at Lu Jingming, his mind recalling ancient cultivation techniques to mend Lu Jingming’s boxing.

After a while, Lu Jingming completed his set of boxing techniques and looked at Jiang Chen expressionlessly. He demonstrated his techniques for the sake of Lin Zhiyan’s face, but he didn’t have any respect for Jiang Chen in his heart. Now that he had finished the demonstration, he wanted to see what Jiang Chen had to say.

”There are some flaws in your boxing technique, but I don’t blame you; it’s a problem with how the cultivation technique has been passed down. In your technique...” Jiang Chen spoke softly, pointing out the flaws and adjustments in Lu Jingming’s technique and also quietly shared some key points for combating Shanben Liang.

At first, Lu Jingming was resentful, but the more he listened, the more astonished he became. After Jiang Chen finished speaking, Lu Jingming suddenly felt as if a light had turned on, his face filled with excitement.

”Mr. Jiang, this, this... thank you so much!” Lu Jingming expressed his respect, bowing deeply to Jiang Chen with a clasped fist.

Jiang Chen reached out to lift Lu Jingming up, laughing lightly, ”No need for formalities. Later, you’ll have to show this foreigner what martial arts from the Flame Dragon Kingdom are like! But before that, let me heal your wounds first.”

”You can heal too?” Lu Jingming was shocked.
