Medic Martial Dragon King

That evening, after dinner, Jiang Chen sat idly in the Gong family’s villa living room.

”Jiang Chen, do you really have the nerve to freeloade at my house like this?”

At this moment, Gong Yue, enraged by the morning’s events, charged in front of Jiang Chen and interrogated him, ”Are you used to sponging? What are you doing staying at our house? Don’t you have a big company? Aren’t you wealthy? Go buy your own house!”

Jiang Chen looked at Gong Yue amusedly and raised an eyebrow lightly, ”I like it here, and your sister doesn’t mind either. If both parties are willing, what’s it to you? Besides...”

His gaze turned cold, Jiang Chen pointed at Gong Yue and spoke in a low tone, ”The last time you got my clinic shut down, I haven’t settled the score with you yet. If it weren’t for the fact that you’re Gong Lin’s sister, I definitely wouldn’t let you off.”

Gong Yue’s complexion changed, and she could not help trembling inside.

The sudden coldness in Jiang Chen’s eyes actually made her feel scared.

Why should I be afraid of him! Regaining her composure, Gong Yue’s eyes darted around, and she moved forward to bump her chest against Jiang Chen’s hand intentionally.

Jiang Chen was taken aback and tried to withdraw his hand hastily, but Gong Yue grabbed it and shouted, ”Sister, sister, come quick and see, this jerk Jiang Chen is harassing me again!”

This little troublemaker! Jiang Chen, filled with anger, grabbed Gong Yue’s hand in return, pinned her down on the sofa, and began smacking her buttocks harshly.

”Smack! Smack! Smack—”

”What are you doing? Let go of me! You jerk, let go of me!” Gong Yue was terrified, and the intense pain shooting up from her butt almost made her cry.

This jerk is really hitting me!

He has no idea how to treat women with tenderness!

Gong Lin came out from her room upon hearing Gong Yue’s cries and was taken aback by the sight in the living room. She looked up at Jiang Chen and asked, ”What’s going on here?”

Before Jiang Chen could speak, Gong Yue was the first to accuse, ”Sis, he’s being lewd, he hit my butt.”

Jiang Chen let go of Gong Yue, turned to Gong Lin, and said in a grave voice, ”Your sister is just too unreasonable. I couldn’t take it anymore and had to teach her a lesson.”

Gong Lin didn’t say a word, but her face grew dark.

Seeing her sister’s expression, Gong Yue’s eyes showed a hint of delight as she looked up at Jiang Chen. She believed that Gong Lin would surely take her side and scold Jiang Chen.

Unexpectedly, Gong Lin turned the gun and aimed it at her, speaking sternly, ”Good for you.”

What?! Gong Yue was stunned, wondering if she had heard wrong, and looked at Gong Lin in astonishment.

Gong Lin glared at her sister, ”I’ve heard about what happened with Jiang Chen’s clinic and looked into it. Can you believe you actually went and hired people to sabotage your brother-in-law? That’s outrageous, truly deserving of a spanking! And your spoiled princess temper really needs an adjustment. He hit you for your own good.”

”I... Sis, you...”

Gong Yue was dumbfounded. She had never anticipated Gong Lin siding with Jiang Chen like this.

Gong Lin glared at Gong Yue again and snapped, ”Enough, stop making a fuss. Do I not know Jiang Chen well enough?”

Jiang Chen chuckled, raised his palm slightly, and looked at Gong Yue with a teasing expression, ”Be careful in the future not to provoke me again. If you do, I won’t hesitate to spank you.”

”You, you jerk!”

Enraged, Gong Yue turned and ran upstairs back to her room, slamming the door shut. Then she threw herself onto the bed and burst into tears.

Now both her butt and heart were in agony!

Gong Lin was being so biased towards Jiang Chen, how awful!

No, I must take my sister back from Jiang Chen’s clutches! I must!

After crying for a while, there was a knock on her door.

Gong Yue wiped her tears aggressively and yelled, ”Who is it? Don’t bother me!”

The door opened, and Gong Lin walked in.

”Go find your Jiang Chen, why come to me?” Gong Yue said, still in a huff.

”Enough, stop making a fuss.”

Gong Lin came over and sat down beside Gong Yue, consoled her with a few words, and then asked softly, ”Let me ask you something serious, aren’t you studying at Dingjing University? Who is the principal in charge of admissions there?”

”Why are you asking about this?” Gong Yue replied, puzzled.

Gong Lin knew that Gong Yue had a grudge against Jiang Chen and didn’t say it outright. After thinking for a moment, she said softly, ”I have a couple of friends who want to further their studies at Dingjing University. I’m looking to talk to your principal in charge, to arrange for them to be special admissions students.”

”Oh!” Gong Yue nodded, took out her phone, and gave Gong Lin the phone number.

Once Gong Lin had left, a sinister smile appeared on Gong Yue’s face—what friends? It must be Jiang Chen, right? If it really is him, once he’s at school, I’ll make sure to deal with him properly!

The next morning, Jiang Chen was woken up by the ringing of his phone.

”Hello!” Rubbing his eyes groggily, Jiang Chen smiled and answered the phone, ”Mom.”

”Xiao Chen, I’ve brought a few relatives to Dingjing, we’re staying at a relative’s place here. But these relatives want to borrow some money from you to start a small business in Dingjing; they say it’s a partnership. Can you come over?” Shen Xiaoqin’s voice came through the phone.

Jiang Chen was taken aback for a moment, then quickly realized that his good-hearted mother must have been entangled by those opportunistic relatives.

After thinking for a bit, Jiang Chen said softly, ”Mom, where are you all? I’ll come right over.”

”We’re at Riches Complex in Health Street, Building Three... at your auntie’s house.” Shen Xiaoqin provided an address.

After hanging up, Jiang Chen got out of bed and freshened up.

He stepped out of his room and into the courtyard, where he was taken aback—his car couldn’t be driven today due to traffic restrictions, and Gong Lin had already left. After glancing at the car Gong Lin had switched from, Jiang Chen turned and walked back towards his room.

He went upstairs to Gong Lin’s room and found the keys to the car Gong Lin had switched from.

A hand reached out and snatched the keys right out of Jiang Chen’s hand.

”What are you doing?” Jiang Chen raised an eyebrow.

With a mocking tone, Gong Yue said, ”I need the car, and you need it too? Where’s your car? Oh, right, your car can’t be driven today because of the traffic restrictions. You can just take the little BMW we used for grocery shopping.”

Having said that, Gong Yue walked off, looking pleased with herself.

Jiang Chen, with no other choice, had to drive the Gong family’s modest BMW, worth a couple hundred thousand, out the door.

First, he went to the bank, where he withdrew three million in cash and placed it in the trunk, planning to use the money to intimidate those opportunistic relatives at his relative’s house, before discussing anything else.

Continuing on his way, Jiang Chen felt a bit stuffy and rolled down the windows to let in some air.

Before long, a Mercedes driving in the opposite direction passed by Jiang Chen’s car. Someone inside felt unwell, opened the window, and vomited out some content, with a few drops of filth blown by the wind onto Jiang Chen.

Jiang Chen frowned slightly, feeling annoyed. But then, he froze, as he caught a foul, fishy scent from the liquid that had splattered onto him.

His expression changed, and he immediately u-turned, speeding after the Mercedes.

”Screech—Bam!” He hadn’t been chasing long and was just about to catch up when the Mercedes suddenly slammed on the brakes. Jiang Chen couldn’t stop in time and crashed into it.

Fortunately, Jiang Chen reacted quickly and hit the brakes; there was no serious damage, but the front of his car had caved in significantly.
