Reborn As Noble

Chapter 1244: Holding One’s Own ( 1244 )

Javier glanced up at Liana while still rubbing his ear.

”Hmm? You’re going somewhere, Liana?”

Liana, who was adjusting her maid dress, glanced at Javier.

”Yes.”

”Huh? Where?” Javier tilted his head, his expression curious.

Liana narrowed her eyes and shook her head. ”Where else? Your future sixth wife is requesting my presence this early.”

”Eh? Really?” Javier narrowed his eyes suspiciously.

Gloria, still rubbing her ear, Felicia, who had just finished putting on her dress, and Delya, who was now adjusting her hair, all turned to look at Liana with curious expressions.

Liana shook her head and exhaled. ”Yes. I don’t know why it’s always me she wants to see. What makes her so attached to me? I’m not a comfort doll, you know. She’s been clinging to me since yesterday, and now she’s requesting me again this early.”

Javier rubbed the back of his head and slipped off the bed in a rush, grabbing a towel.

”Young Master! I’m not finished talking here!”

”Ah... err...” Javier averted his eyes, giving her an awkward smile as he scratched his cheek. ”I... I need to wash up and prepare, right? Besides, I’m sure Father and Mother are waiting for us at the dining room for breakfast.”

Liana crossed her arms and gave him a sharp glare. ”No. There’s no full-course breakfast. Just a light meal and a hot drink. I don’t think we have time for a long meal.”

”Well...” Javier grinned sheepishly. ”You know how my father is... so... err... I’m going to shower now.”

Liana exhaled. ”Don’t be late. And make sure you wear proper attire.” She turned her glare toward Gloria. ”Gloria!”

Gloria, who had just finished putting on her bra and panties, startled by Liana’s sharp call, looked up and noticed Liana’s hard glare.

”Eh? What now, Liana? Come on, it’s still early morning. Don’t be so moody.”

”You make sure Young Master wears an official Armand attire today.”

Javier, who was about to head to the shower with the towel over his shoulder, paused and glanced back at Liana.

”Ehhhh!? Why do I need to wear that!? You know I hate those stiff, flashy clothes. They’re uncomfortable and way too formal.”

”No, Young Master. You WILL wear it today.” Liana’s tone left no room for argument. ”It’s an official duty. Prince Aelius and Princess Athine’s wedding is a formal occasion, and you are a Prince of Armand. You need to look the part.”

Javier’s shoulders slumped in defeat. ”Ugh... fine... just for today.”

Liana shot another glare at Gloria. ”You. Make sure Young Master wears it properly. This is still part of your duty as his maid before we both step down from our roles.”

Gloria gave her a soft, understanding smile. ”I know, Liana. Let’s do our best until the very end.”

”Mm...” Liana nodded. ”I’m going now.” She turned and headed toward the door, stepping out into the hallway. The soft click of the door closing was followed by the fading sound of her footsteps as she walked away.

After Liana left, Javier headed into the shower, the sound of running water filling the room.

Felicia glanced at Gloria, who was adjusting her maid dress.

”Gloria?”

”Hmm?” Gloria looked at Felicia, her hands smoothing the fabric of her dress

”Umm... you don’t feel... you know...”

Gloria chuckled softly and shook her head. ”Why? I don’t think I need to be jealous or anything. Liana already said it before, and we all know how intense things can get when it comes to sex with Young Master. Remember the whole night we spent together not too long ago? We all shared in it, and there was more than enough love to go around.”

”Umm... yeah...” Felicia smiled softly, her cheeks flushing red at the memory.

”Besides... I don’t think I need to be scared of it. Liana is the first wife, so she’ll set the tone and keep things balanced. And as for Gracelle... she might be beautiful, but...” Gloria cupped her own breasts, making them bounce slightly with a playful smirk. ”...I think I can hold my own.”

Gloria smiled when she saw Felicia’s cheeks flush even deeper. ”You know, you shouldn’t worry about anything concerning Young Master. Remember what Lady Mother said? The Elyria Dance binds us all to him, and him to us. He won’t leave us. He won’t choose one over the other. His love is vast enough for all of us.”

Felicia smiled, her expression softening. ”Yeah... I still remember it.”

Gloria adjusted the last part of her maid dress, smoothing the fabric over her hips before glancing at Delya, who was calmly sipping her hot chocolate.

”Just look at that demon princess. She has nothing to worry about. All she cares about is whether there’s enough chocolate for her~” Gloria chuckled. ”So we shouldn’t worry about turns, or love, or anything like that. Young Master has enough for all of us, and he’ll always make sure we feel cherished.”

Gloria smiled softly. ”It’s not us who should feel jealous or worried about our place. It’s Liana who carries that burden. She’s been with him since he was a baby, taking care of him, guiding him, handling his every mood and whim. So it’s only natural that she deserves to claim him for herself from time to time.”

She paused, her expression softening. ”And yet... despite being the most beautiful girl in all of Armand, she still chooses to share. She holds the most special place in Young Master’s heart, but she never hoards his love. That’s why I respect her. And that’s why I’ll never be jealous of her. If she can share, then so can we.”

”T... thank you, Gloria...” Felicia mumbled softly, her tail swaying gently behind her.

Just as Gloria was about to say something, all of them heard a muffled sound from the shower, a soft, breathy moan followed by the rhythmic slapping of skin against skin.

Gloria smiled and leaned closer to Felicia’s face, her voice dropping into a low, teasing whisper.

”If you ever doubt Young Master’s love... you can always go inside the shower and find out for yourself~”

Felicia’s cheeks turned a deep crimson. ”Eh? But... Liana would be mad if... if we take too long...”

”Well, it’s up to you~” Gloria paused, her smirk widening as another muffled, long moan echoed from the shower. ”But I’m sure your little sister is enjoying her turn right now~”

Delya, who had been quietly watching them, tilted her head, her cheeks slightly flushed.

Are they... kissing?

”Umm... I’m sorry if I interrupted something...” Delya mumbled, her voice trailing off.

Gloria turned her head and looked over at Delya, while Felicia also glanced back in confusion.

”Huh? What are you talking about?”

”Umm... since... you two were so close... I thought...”

Gloria’s eyes widened in realization. ”No! I didn’t kiss her!”

”B... but...”

”Ugh! I only have eyes for Young Master. I’m straight and I won’t go that route,” Gloria said firmly before pausing and exhaling, pinching the bridge of her forehead. ”Let’s just finish getting ready. We have a long day ahead.”
