Reborn As Noble

475: Graceful Deception ( 475 ) 475: Graceful Deception ( 475 ) “LIANA!!

GLORIA!!” Both girls snapped to attention instinctively.

“Y-Yes, Mrs.

Erinnete?” they responded in unison, sweat still glistening on their foreheads from the intense training.

“Rest!!” Liana hesitated.

“But—” “No but!!” Erinnete’s sharp glare silenced them instantly.

She crossed her arms, her eyes narrowing like a drill sergeant’s.

“You two have already passed level 70.

Continuing beyond this point without recovery is inefficient, ungraceful, and idiotic.” Behind her, Hesbeirn nodded solemnly, like a silent guardian of discipline.

Liana and Gloria exchanged glances, lips tightening.

Still, they obeyed.

Step by step, they followed Mrs Erinnette out of the training chamber.

Just then.

“And you!!

Ari!

Aria!” “Y-Yes!!” two voices answered timidly—though the words came from Liana and Gloria’s mouths, carried by the spirits housed within them.

“Just because you two have perfectly synchronized with your vessels doesn’t mean you can ignore basic responsibility!

Why didn’t you force them to rest?!” “W-We did!

We tried!

But they—” “No excuses!!” Erinnete raised a gloved hand to silence them.

“Liana!

Gloria!

Maid dining hall.

Now.

And eat properly!” “Y-Yes, Mrs.

Erinnete!!” The girls bowed quickly and scurried off.

Erinnete sighed, hands on her hips.

“Ugh!!” Gloria slumped into the nearest chair in the dining hall, poking her food with a spoon.

“If we can’t finish training fast… we can’t go to the young master fast…” She pouted, cheeks puffed slightly like an upset squirrel.

Across from her, Liana grumbled under her breath, arms folded tightly.

“I bet…

I bet he already has a bunch of other women sticking to him by now!” Her lips curled into a deep pout, her eyes narrowing in frustration.

“He’s too kind…

and too attractive.

It’s just asking for trouble…” Gloria huffed, stabbing a piece of meat.

“I bet there’s already two or three trying to become his wife.

I should’ve put a tracking spell on his collar when I had the chance…” “Tracking spell?

I should’ve tattooed ‘Property of Liana’ on his forehead!” Liana muttered.

Both of them paused.

Then, slowly, they looked at each other—and sighed in unison.

“I bet young master already easily seduces a whole flock of girls around him,” Gloria said with a dramatic groan, resting her cheek against her fist.

“Just charming his way through with that soft smile of his…” Liana grit her teeth.

“Yeah!

And if he were already an adult—ugh—I just know he’d be sleeping with more women by now!” Gloria waved her hand, eyes sparkling with theatrical flair.

“He’ll just push his hand on the wall… bam!

Pin the girl like this—” She stood up, mimicking the pose against an invisible wall.

“Then he leans in real close and says something like—’You’re mine now… I won’t let anyone else touch you.ʼ” Liana slammed her hands on the table.

“And then the girl goes all red, her knees wobble, and she just melts!

Kyaah~ young master~!” she mimicked mockingly, before sitting back down with a huff.

Both of them glared at their plates.

“UGHHHH!!!

YOUNG MASTER!!!” Liana suddenly shouted, slamming her forehead onto the dining table.

Every maid in the dining room froze mid-bite, some with their spoons halfway to their mouths.

The clatter of dishes and awkward silence filled the air as dozens of pairs of eyes turned toward her.

Gloria, meanwhile, had her eyes narrowed in silent fury, her imagination spiraling into chaos.

In her mind: Their beloved young master surrounded by beautiful beastkin women.

One feeding him grapes.

One clinging to his arm.

Another trying to sit on his lap.

He laughs—that charming laugh—and drags them all into a fluffy bed— No…

NO!

Not the fluffy bed!!

Both Liana and Gloria slowly realized the intense stares on them, cheeks flaming red.

In perfect synchronization, they sat up straight, crossed their legs elegantly, and forced smiles of the utmost composure.

“Yes?” Gloria asked softly, voice perfectly calm.

The entire dining hall quickly reverted to their food, averting their gaze—no one dared to say a word.

Liana leaned over and muttered under her breath, barely audible, “I bet… he’s already oogling the beastkin girls’ chests by now…” After finishing their meal amid the tense silence of the other maids, Liana and Gloria quietly excused themselves from the dining hall, their calm, professional demeanor fully restored.

They returned to their respective quarters, stepping into the warm comfort of their rooms.

They washed themselves, letting the water wash away not just the sweat from training but the irritation lingering in their hearts.

After drying off, they dressed in their fresh maid uniforms—neatly ironed, clean, and crisp.

But these weren’t just any regular uniforms.

Each piece was subtly reinforced with light enchantments for agility, and beneath the elegant fabric hid concealed weapons.

It was standard Armand maid protocol—always prepared, always graceful, and always deadly when needed.

Once ready, Liana and Gloria made their way outside the estate toward the pekko pen.

Liana entered first, carrying a sack of feed.

Her footsteps were light but steady.

“Pikko!

Food,” she called softly.

Gloria followed with her own pouch.

“Peanut~ come eat~,” she cooed gently.

“Cuquawked!!” The peaceful scene brought a faint, knowing smile to both of them.

“Ahem.” Liana and Gloria froze instantly, straightening with near-military precision.

“Mr.

Alf!!” they chorused in perfect unison, their voices crisp, innocent—almost too innocent.

Alf stood just outside the pen, arms behind his back, his posture impossibly straight as always.

His expression was unreadable, but the faint glint in his eyes told them he was already suspicious.

“Where are you two thinking of going?” “No, Mr.

Alf.

We weren’t going anywhere.

We were just feeding our pekko, sir.” Gloria nodded immediately, her face calm and steady.

“Yes, just attending to our duties, nothing more.” Alf let the silence stretch a moment, then slowly turned his head and gestured toward the nearby resting pekko—Giddie.

“Good.

Because if you try to go somewhere without Lord Garius’s permission, I’m quite sure you won’t get very far.” His words were polite, but the meaning was clear.

Liana and Gloria glanced down at their pekko—Pikko and Peanut—who were happily pecking at their food, entirely oblivious to the silent war of tension happening nearby.

Even without words, it was obvious: their birds wouldn’t stand a chance.

“…We understand, Mr.

Alf,” they replied in unison, bowing respectfully.

Alf nodded once and turned away.

As soon as he was out of earshot, Gloria leaned closer and whispered, “He knew.” Liana exhaled.

“Of course he did.

That man was the best assassin in the kingdom.” They looked down at their pekko, both giving cheerful squawks.

“Traitors,” Liana muttered softly.
