Reborn As Noble

Chapter 468: A Battle of Grace and Fury ( 468 )

”Hmm... I wonder what my honey bun is doing right now~,” Fransesca whispered softly with an affectionate smile, even as another wave of white magic missiles tore through shrieking dark beasts around her.

Her expression never wavered—calm. Serene.

Not a single hair out of place—as if she were discussing dinner plans, not bathing in the bloody chaos of corrupted blood.

”Dear?”

Garius glanced back casually, slicing through another monster mid-spin. The creature vanished into dust before hitting the ground. His twin blades kept swinging—each swing a blur of white and green arcs.

”Iʼm just a little worry...”

Fransescaʼs voice dipped with gentle concern.

”...about my honey bun.”

Garius chuckled mid-swing.

”Ahaha, donʼt worry about him.”

”Heʼs not alone, remember? He has Buddy.”

Another dark monster lunged toward him.

Garius impaled it with one sword, then used its collapsing body as a springboard to vault over a cluster of enemies, landing like a phantom behind them.

”Yes... but...”

Fransesca glanced upward, just slightly.

Her magic missiles veered and skewered another dozen beasts without her even looking.

Garius grinned, sidestepping an incoming strike and flicking his blade across the beastʼs chest.

”He also has those white puppet knights—remember?”

”He can summon them anytime. Probably a hundred of them—made of white ore, with shields, light-element cores?”

”Mmhm.” Fransesca nodded, her light aura pulsing in response.

”Not to mention the rest of his puppet army... over 10,000 units, last I checked.”

Nearby, Erinette swung through a wave of darklings and muttered under her breath—

”When did he even have time to build that many? He sleeps in, slacks off, pretends to be useless...”

Alf, flipping a monster over his shoulder, added with a smirk—

”...but then he pulls a whole puppet battalion from thin air. Our young masterʼs frightening in his own way.”

Fransesca giggled behind her hand.

”My little honey bun is full of surprises.”

”He has a tendency to attract girls. And chaos. And trouble.”

Garius smirked again, parrying two strikes at once.

Just as Fransesca casually said:

”He has a tendency to attract girls. And chaos. And trouble.”

—Something shifted on the battlefield.

A faint pulse of mana flared to the left flank, then the right.

Lianaʼs aura erupted in radiant green and silver, her eyes narrowing into a sharp glint as her bow glowed dangerously bright.

Gloriaʼs golden mana surged, her warhammer pulsing fiercely, and her calm expression hardened into one of intense focus.

Without waiting for a command.

They charged into the next wave of monsters.

”Multiple targets incoming—clearing them all,”

Lianaʼs voice was cold.

Arrow after arrow—piercing vital cores, disabling limbs, forcing monsters back into the white barrier wall.

No hesitation. No mercy.

Gloria followed, slamming her warhammer down with explosive force, shattering groups of enemies beneath her.

Every swing broke at least two creatures.

Erinette blinked.

”...What just happened?”

Alf raised an eyebrow.

”They just snapped.”

Fransesca, still calmly firing her magic missiles like she were watching a grand stage, let out a soft laugh, covering her mouth.

”My my~”

She knew the reason.

They all knew.

They knew Javier had become more handsome. More mature.

The maids at the Armand estate had been whispering. Stealing glances. Admiring him from afar. They didnʼt even bother to hide it anymore—whenever Javier passed, conversations paused, eyes followed his every move.

But none dared to approach because Liana and Gloria were always there.

Like elegant, deadly shadows, smiling, polite, but unapproachable.

Not just the maids.

Even merchants daughters visiting, townsfolk, traveling merchants—everyone watched from afar.

And now, as Fransesca voiced those words.

Both girls remembered.

Their pride flared.

Their protectiveness ignited.

And they killed every monster near them with silent, blazing fury.

Garius, sensing the shift mid-fight, chuckled as he cleaved another beast in two.

”Well, now theyʼre serious.”

Inside Lianaʼs mind.

No… no… NOOOOO!!!

Her arrow pierced another dark beast, slicing through two more behind it in a flawless shot, but her expression remained cold—calm, controlled.

Finish training fast…

Kill this filth faster…

Become stronger… much stronger…

Three more monsters lunged toward her.

She spun once, firing three arrows mid-turn, each striking perfectly into their cores. The bodies collapsed before even hitting the ground.

Find Young Master.

Before he...

Her bowʼs glow intensified, fed by her flaring mana.

Before he adds more girls to the harem!!

She surged forward, arrows raining with sniper-like precision—steps light as the wind.

On the outside? Calm. Silent. Beautiful.

Inside?

One more flirt, and Iʼll blast them into another continent.

Gloriaʼs warhammer soared through the air.

Swing.

”Ara…”

CRASH!!

Three monsters slammed into the ground like broken puppets, their twisted bodies disintegrating under the force.

”My my…”

Another leapt from the side, she sidestepped gracefully, barely tilting her head.

CRASH!!

”Young master…”

Her eyes softened slightly as she imagined his smile.

A faint flicker of memory crossed her mind:

A girl clinging to Javierʼs arm.

Smiling. Blushing. Too close.

”…More girls?”

She blinked once.

CRAAAAASSHH!!

Her warhammer came down with such force that the ground rippled, launching five monsters skyward in a shockwave.

Gloria twirled her massive warhammer with one hand, crushing another beast with a soft hum of mana.

”First wife~”

Her voice was gentle, almost playful.

”Yes, second wife~?”

Liana responded sweetly, her next arrow piercing perfectly through the eyes of three lined-up monsters.

”I believe our ʼfuture husbandʼ is probably flirting with someone again.”

”Agree~”

Liana nodded, loosing another mana arrow without even blinking.

”So… what level are we on now in this special training again?”

Gloria asked, casually swinging her hammer into a wave of corrupted beasts.

BOOM!!

Dust and limbs flew everywhere.

”Fifty-five, second wife.”

Liana replied smoothly, pulling another glowing arrow into her bow.

Gloria smiled behind her glasses.

”Ara~ Forty-four more to go.”

Liana returned her smile—deadly calm.

”Yes~ Just forty-four more.”

Another horde charged toward them.

”Do you think~”

Gloriaʼs voice drifted lazily as she spun her warhammer.

”…we can finish it fast?”

”Yes~ I believe we can~”

Liana replied, releasing a shot that ricocheted through four targets in a single blink.

”Yeah~ Cutting the rest, right?”

Gloria hummed, slamming her hammer into a massive beast charging toward them.

CRASH!!!!

The creature disintegrated mid-roar.

Liana nodded serenely.

”Yes~ Eat once a day.”

They both paused.

A moment of silence passed as a dozen monsters surrounded them.

BOOM—BOOM—CRACK!

In seconds, the creatures were dust.

”Hmm~” Gloria brushed her hair back.

”So we continue training after this?”

Liana smiled gently.

”Of course~”

They didnʼt even slow down, simply walking forward as if this was just another day.
