The Fantastic Little Farmer

Chapter 250: Chapter 250: You Want to Kill Me to Silence Me?

When Zhang Yun saw Yuan You outside Zhang Lifeng’s office yesterday, he caught a whiff of a familiar scent at close range!

His senses were now far superior to an ordinary person’s, including the sense of smell, which most people easily overlooked. At night at the foot of the mountain, there was only the scent of dirt and vegetation, so the smell on the Female Ghost was naturally remembered with particular clarity.

At the hospital, the heavy smell of disinfectant had made her scent stand out even more, directly matching his memory. But Zhang Yun wouldn’t tell the truth. This was his ability; why should he let others know?

”Although you changed your clothes and shoes, you’re still the same person! We had close contact. Based on my height, I can deduce yours. As for your weight, it goes without saying. As an amateur beauty appraiser, I’m quite accurate at judging a person’s measurements...”

”Pervert!” Yuan You subconsciously crossed her arms over her chest.

”Your height and figure match perfectly. Even the angle at which my eyes meet your chest aligns exactly. Naturally, I made a bold guess that you were that Female Ghost! I wanted to shake your hand and get your contact info, but you rejected me right to my face!”

Zhang Yun feigned a look of absolute disbelief. ”With my handsome looks as the designated heartthrob of Tianxin Village, no young girl or young wife could ever reject me, yet you did. You absolutely did it on purpose! You were afraid I would expose you!”

Yuan You fell completely silent.

”Earlier, I was just testing the waters,” Zhang Yun continued. ”Your reaction proved that you are Yuan You.”

Yuan You’s gaze turned complicated. She looked at Zhang Yun, who was sitting on the ground, and wondered how to deal with him.

”You are Old Zhang’s junior brother’s disciple, so you can’t be some old monster who has been in secluded cultivation for decades,” Zhang Yun said as he stood up, firmly claiming the moral high ground. ”You don’t look like a local either, so that Ancient Tomb definitely isn’t your home. You’re forcibly occupying someone else’s coffin! Do you have any morals left? Old Zhang surely doesn’t know about this, right?

”Are you thinking of silencing me right now? Heh, you demoness, strike me down, and millions more of me will rise in my place!”

”Psychopath!” Yuan You was rendered utterly speechless by his theatrical performance. ”Although this Ancient Tomb doesn’t belong to me, my master discovered it. My master used to cultivate inside it in his early years. My senior uncle doesn’t know about this.”

”So, in order to clear your name of forcibly occupying someone else’s coffin and tomb, you’re directly throwing the blame onto your master?”

”I am not!” Yuan You felt like this guy was too good at setting verbal traps. ”And I’m not a demoness either! I have no intention of silencing you!”

”Heh, that’s just because you can’t!”

As he spoke, Zhang Yun struck out swiftly, grabbing Yuan You by the waist and lifting her right into the air!

Yuan You reacted with lightning speed. While suspended mid-air, she kicked one leg straight at Zhang Yun’s head. However, Zhang Yun’s method of attack exceeded her predictions.

Zhang Yun was already capable of grabbing a motorcycle and hurling it away before. Yuan You’s body was much lighter, and his strength had greatly increased since then. Now that he had her hoisted up, he didn’t follow up with a conventional attack. Instead, he simply tossed her straight down the mountain slope!

Yuan You’s kick hit nothing but air, yet she didn’t panic. With an elegant twist of her body, she executed a flawless landing.

Watching this display of Lightweight Body Technique made Zhang Yun incredibly envious!

”See! I’m very strong,” Zhang Yun shouted down. ”If you wanted to kill me, I would’ve just thrown you out. That was merely a warning. If you actually try anything, I’ll chuck you all the way to the mountain across the valley!”

Yuan You remained silent, naturally refusing to believe his boasting. She had felt Zhang Yun’s strength, and his physical tolerance was indeed stronger than she had estimated. It was just that he severely lacked in areas like Experience, technique, and finesse.

”You’re already much stronger than the last time I saw you,” Yuan You said. ”It’s because you took the things from our coffin, isn’t it? Hand them over, and we can still be good friends!”

Zhang Yun burst into laughter. ”Are you kidding a child? I won’t believe you. Besides, I didn’t take anything of yours. I just checked with a flashlight earlier. Whether inside or outside the coffin, I didn’t take a single thing!”

Yuan You had no retort. She had inspected it herself, which was exactly what puzzled her. Something was clearly missing, yet she couldn’t articulate what it was.

”By the way, what exactly are those lines and patterns carved inside the coffin?” Zhang Yun asked.

Yuan You leaped up, dashing right in front of Zhang Yun in an instant. ”You even went inside?”

”I even lay down in it. How else would I have discovered them?”

Zhang Yun’s blunt admission left Yuan You at a loss for words.

”You can go back in and take a look for yourself. The carved patterns are still there, so don’t go claiming I stole anything from you again.” Zhang Yun stretched his arms lazily. ”I won’t report you guys for tomb raiding over this matter, so stop pestering me. If we really come to blows, I’m not afraid of you! In fact...”

Zhang Yun stared fixedly into her eyes and whispered, ”I could even kill you!”

Yuan You shuddered. In that single glance, she had felt genuine killing intent! That was not a look a country boy could possess; not even a seasoned martial artist would have it. This guy was not simple at all!

Zhang Yun then directly scanned Yuan You up and down. He wondered if he could drain Yuan You dry. The Energy on the coffin could be absorbed, and the same went for the Ancient Rong Tree and that Ancient Tower. What about a living person?

Yuan You got goosebumps under his intense scrutiny and couldn’t help but cross her arms over her chest again. ”Pervert!”

Zhang Yun shook his head but said nothing. He turned and walked back toward the front of the Ancient Tomb, as his hoe was still resting there.

”You can’t just leave like this!” Yuan You quickly followed him. She was deeply conflicted now, entirely unsure of how to properly deal with him.

”Miss, I’ve warned you. If you don’t listen to my advice and something goes wrong later, don’t blame me.”

”You must swear that you won’t tell anyone about the situation here, including your sketchy friends, and especially my senior uncle!” Yuan You demanded sternly.

”Are you begging me?” Zhang Yun looked at her playfully. ”Beg me, and I might agree. Swear an oath? Heh, you’re overthinking things!”

”Beg?” Yuan You frowned. ”I suggest you reconsider your attitude. Don’t forget, I know your home address!”

”Are you threatening me?” Zhang Yun’s hand shot out with blistering speed, directly seizing Yuan You by the throat!

Yuan You felt a wave of sheer frustration. Just like when he had grabbed and lifted her earlier, even though it was a sneak attack, she had clearly reacted in time. Why couldn’t she dodge it? How could this kid’s speed be so fast?

This was completely different from before; he was strangling her! This was the same hand that could hoist her up and throw her effortlessly. If he applied his full strength, he could snap her neck! Even though she was extraordinarily formidable, it was impossible for her to train her throat to be as tough as steel and iron.

”Were you threatening me just now?” Zhang Yun asked again.

He could endure taking a palm strike that sent him flying, suffering internal and external injuries in the process, without complaint. But if someone used his father to threaten him, he would absolutely never tolerate it!

”Not speaking? Believe it or not, I’ll knock you out and drag you into the coffin right now.” Zhang Yun increased the pressure of his grip slightly.

Initially, Yuan You hadn’t wanted to yield. She didn’t believe he actually dared to strangle her to death. But if she were knocked out and dragged into the coffin... would he just leave her in there? He would definitely violate her from head to toe, likely kill her in the end, and then bury the tomb so no one would ever know!

”URK! URK!”

She was forced to make muffled sounds to beg for mercy while pointing desperately at her throat. It wasn’t that she refused to speak, but that she physically couldn’t!
