Daily Intelligence System: Don't Kill Me, Honey!

Chapter 1609: Chapter 370: Chen 94: My Turn to Act_3

At this moment, a few seconds passed without feeling any pain.

But just after the next few seconds, that Iron Tower-like man let out a horrifying scream, resembling a slaughtered pig.

Ah!

The sound echoed throughout the cave, because the lava started to burn in the next few seconds, causing an unbearable burning sensation.

The strong man howled in agony, his face, skin, and throat were all covered with lava, and the lava quickly ignited his clothes. At this point, the strong man screamed while trying to shake off the lava from his body, but it was impossible, as the lava had adhered to his flesh.

Soon, this scorching temperature spread around the skin, and the lava’s heat can reach temperatures of 900 to 1,400 degrees Celsius.

Instantly, the terrifying temperature cooked the surrounding flesh, and as time passed, the skin, flesh, and even the internal organs would be cooked, leaving the person with no chance of survival.

Finally, the lava would burn you alive to become a pile of meat charcoal.

”Ah, save me, save me~”

The strong man wailed in pain, and at the same time, the air was already filled with the disgustingly repugnant smell of roasted meat.

Smelling the scent of scorched human flesh, Liu Caidie couldn’t help but want to vomit.

The rest of the people saw his tragic state and wanted to rush forward to rescue him, but did not dare to move, only watching the person scream miserably.

Han Ling’er now had a pale, iron-blue face and shouted, ”We can’t let him cry out anymore, these, these Flame Scorpions are communal!”

One sentence instantly frightened everyone; what does communal mean?

Communal means there is more than one of them, and such screaming

will inevitably attract more of the same kind, and by then, it will be disastrous.

Thinking this way, everyone had a bewildered expression, all having a tough expression, things were going bad, very bad.

At this point, the guard captain, being seasoned in matters like this, gritted his teeth and stepped forward, saying, ”Brother, travel well.”

With a swift knife, he ended the wailing man’s suffering.

Looking at the corpse of the strong man, everyone’s mood wasn’t great; losing someone right after entering wasn’t a good sign at all!

However, everyone did feel a bit relieved; after all, the man was dead, but the noise was gone, so no longer would they rouse the resting Flame Scorpions here.

Thinking this, Han Ling’er said, ”Alright, no time for grief, get ready to leave, better hurry out of this treacherous place!”

Upon these words, everyone snapped into awareness, yes indeed, leaving this dangerous place was the priority, or else death was certain.

At this point, everyone disregarded the sadness of losing a teammate and got ready to leave.

But just as they moved, everyone suddenly heard a sound, pfft, splat...

Though the sound was tiny, it startled everyone into stillness, eyes wide with horror.

Upon turning around, they saw a small scorpion emerged from not far where the previous scorpion was discovered, shaking its head and rudely spitting a glob of lava mucus (lava); witnessing this scene, everyone broke into a cold sweat.

At this moment, Han Ling’er swallowed her saliva, signaling with a wave of her hand, meaning ignore it, and quickly run.

Everyone agreed with Han Ling’er’s idea, when else to run if not now.

Then everyone turned to look towards the exit not far away, but upon seeing it, they turned cold with fear, the small gravel in front now shaking violently.

Rustle~

Rustle, rustle, everyone’s eyes filled with terror, as one by one, small scorpions awoke from their slumber.

Dense, endless, at a glance, at least one to two thousand, with more awakening in the distance.

These small scorpions can survive just by feeding on lava, hence their survival requirements are minimal.

Due to such minimal survival requirements, they reproduce abundantly.

Now, densely packed, blocking the entire area, seeing this scene, everyone swallowed hard.

For a while, no one knew what to do.

Chen Jie looked left and right, seeing more scorpions awaken further away, with these tiny scorpions already searching for targets, madly rushing towards them.

The tiny scorpions could crazily move atop the lava, as fast as lightning.

These scorpions’ bodies were so light they could run atop the lava, like walking on flat ground.

Seeing these scorpions madly swarm in, Han Ling’er was terrified, standing frozen not knowing what to do.

Now, Chen Jiusi knew he couldn’t hide anymore, decisively shouting out, ”Charge through.”

Then led the attack, rushing towards the exit, remembering at all costs, they must avoid getting surrounded by these scorpions, being surrounded would certainly mean death.

Thinking this way, Chen Jie had already charged through.

Liu Caidie trusted Chen Jie, shouting now, ”Follow him.”

Then immediately followed Chen Jie forward, and everyone realizing there was no time for thinking, hearing the command to follow him, immediately rushed forward.

A group crazily charged towards the scorpion swarm.

At this point, Chen Jie casually took out a newly forged longspear from the storage ring, its quality surpassing the Fire Dragon Spear, with more precious materials added by Chen Jiusi.

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh...

Leading the charge, facing the Flame Scorpions, Chen Jie swept them away like autumn leaves, controlling the spear’s power, he swept through the Flame Scorpions.
