Chapter 482: Chapter 163 Chen Jiu Si: Nan Ba Tian, Are You Convinced? (Please Subscribe)_5

Clang, clang, clang...

Chen Xiaohu immediately became entangled in battle with the two men.

At that moment, Zhou Chu waved his hand and said, ”Brothers, follow me.”

Then, knife in hand, he led a hundred White Tiger Guards to surround those fifty unfortunate members of Eagle Hall.

Seeing the White Tiger Guards, who were obviously much more robust than themselves, the members of Eagle Hall immediately cowered—dropping their weapons and squatting on the ground.

Seeing this, Zhou Chu shouted, ”Those who kneel and beg for mercy will not be killed!”

Hearing this, the rest of the White Tiger Guards also shouted, ”Kneel and beg for mercy and you will not die, not die!”

Upon hearing these words, the members of Eagle Hall decisively knelt; after all, for a mere two maces of silver a month, what’s the point in risking their lives!

Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh...

In the dark night, a woman dressed in black clothes, with disheveled hair, drifted through the streets like a ghost.

Yes, this was the blind fortune-teller hired by Nan Batian.

However, she wasn’t a blind fortune-teller, but rather a disciple of the old blind fortune-teller. Old blind fortune-teller met his end one dark night at the hands of another blind man.

That blind man’s last name was Yuan, and upon their encounter, the old blind fortune-teller, who claimed to be a blind fortune-teller, was dealt with by the blind man named Yuan.

Only this female blind martial artist was left behind.

This blind woman was also a prodigy; even without her master, she had still managed to reach the level of Energy Transformation.

However, because of her master’s death, she dared not wander around Mianshui County for fear of encountering the blind man who had killed her master, so she had been hiding in Tanzi Alley.

But today, she had received a task to block someone named Chen Jiusi.

It was worth taking a look.

Zip, zip, zip...

The blind woman made her way through the streets, but just then, a stone was suddenly thrown from an alley ahead.

Whizz...

It shot straight at her. Startled, the blind woman immediately did a backflip to dodge and then listened intently with her ear turned to the side.

”Who’s there?”

At that moment, a voice came from the alley, ”Mianshui County, Chief Wu Hong, requests the young lady to come down and talk!”

”Wu Hong?”

The blind woman paused, recognizing the name; he was one of the newly-appointed Thirteen Grand Protectors.

The blind woman said, ”Chief Wu, I don’t believe I’ve broken the law. Why are you stopping me?”

Wu Hong chuckled and said, ”According to the Daqian Decree, when the drums beat three times, it signals the night curfew; commoners are not allowed to be on the streets. Young lady, you have broken the night rule!”

The blind woman frowned and said, ”Chief Wu, I’m not the only one out tonight. Why are you singling me out?”

Wu Hong replied, ”There’s nothing I can do about it—I just happened upon you. Please come down, young lady, to avoid any unnecessary misunderstanding.”

”What if I refuse to come down?”

Wu Hong chuckled again, ”Then I’ll come up!”

Whoosh!

Wu Hong leaped onto the wall and then faced the blind woman, saying, ”Young lady, please cooperate!”

The blind woman said, ”Ha, sorry, I don’t know what ’cooperate’ means. Get out of the way!”

With that, the blind woman lunged directly at Wu Hong with a claw.

Wu Hong quickly stepped back half a step and dodged the claw, ”Netherworld Ghost Claw?”

The blind woman said, ”You know it, and yet you don’t dodge?”

Wu Hong smiled, ”Please forgive me, young lady, but I cannot let you pass today. Tomorrow, you may pass as you wish.”

”I want to pass today!”

At that moment, the blind woman raked her claws toward Wu Hong’s head. Wu Hong immediately ducked, and her claws swept over his head.

Wu Hong ducked to avoid the swipe and said, ”Young lady, your strikes are quite fierce!”

The blind woman replied, ”Still, they can’t shut your mouth.”

Wu Hong smiled, ”Young lady, you might as well fall back. If you don’t, I am going to have to make a move.”

The blind woman replied, ”I’m not afraid of you!”

Saying that, she clawed directly at Wu Hong, who squinted his eyes and immediately reached out to counter with a claw of his own.

Swipe, swipe, swipe!

The two rapidly exchanged more than a dozen moves in the air. The blind woman suddenly stepped back, her face filled with shock, ”Bone Dislocation!”

Wu Hong chuckled, ”You flatter me.”

At that moment, the blind woman felt her hand become numb and powerless.

Wu Hong said, ”Young lady, it’s about time to stop.”

”You underestimate me!”

The blind woman, suddenly infuriated, let out a roar and then charged at Wu Hong.

Wu Hong was confused. He had been holding back, so why would she refuse his leniency? Little did he know, the disabled often have strong pride—the more you yield to them, the more they insist on proving themselves.

[Netherworld Ghost Claw]

Swipe, swipe, swipe!

Wu Hong furrowed his brow and decided to stop taking it easy, immediately unleashing his Bone Dislocation technique.

Bone Dislocation could be considered a peak technique among claw styles, quite formidable. This time, as he clashed several times with the blind woman, he found that her strength wasn’t bad either—above average within those who had mastered Energy Transformation. However, Wu Hong had made even greater progress over the past six months. When his master left, he passed on the final two most powerful moves of Bone Dislocation, [Fen Jin] and [Bone Breaking] to him.

One could say he had fully mastered the art and his strength was no less than his master’s.

Step, step...

Wu Hong sent a claw strike, and the blind woman countered with one of her own. With a crack, they clashed head-on, and the next moment, the blind woman lost her footing and fell from the rooftop.

Wu Hong immediately followed her down.

With a thump, the two landed. The blind woman immediately launched a claw strike toward Wu Hong, who dodged it.

Rip! A deep gash was torn into the wall of the small alley.

Wu Hong was truly enraged by this claw strike. Frowning, he immediately launched his Bone Dislocation technique.

Crack, crack!

One claw seized the blind woman’s left hand and another grasped her right hand. Then he pressed forward, preparing to execute the killing move [Fen Jin!]

However, as Wu Hong closed in, his face nearly touching the blind woman’s, he could feel her breath on his nose.
