The Versatile Master Artist

She unexpectedly felt a sense of relief in her heart.

In the fairy tale, the Little Prince spent so much time on the Rose, so it was his Rose.

Anna put so much effort and energy into Detective Cat, similarly, it belonged to her older sister.

No matter how she tapped out congratulations with her fingertips.

Miss Elina still felt a significant degree of reluctance about the painter she had raised with soulful resonance potentially running away with other gallery owners.

”I have no problem on my side.”

Anna immediately replied: ”As stated in the contract, I am only the agent for the virtual painter identity ’Detective Cat.’ Your contract with the gallery doesn’t conflict with us.”

”But I suggest you need to agree on specifics with the gallery to avoid future troubles. Is that gallery formal? If it is very small, I wouldn’t recommend signing, or only sign those short-term contracts that renew annually.”

”If you truly want to sign with a gallery, I might be able to find you a better one.”

Anna suggested.

No matter how Painting Knife Painting is out of favor with the mainstream art world, it varies from person to person.

Borges is still a lifelong professor at Brooklyn Art Academy.

Being able to paint to the level of the Detective Cat Sister, certain first and second-tier grand galleries would also be interested.

Moreover.

Aside from the Painting Knife Painting, Detective Cat’s sketches themselves are exceptional. As long as it’s properly managed, with a suitable recommender, even signing with some top grand galleries wouldn’t be difficult.

”If only it had happened earlier.” Anna felt a bit regretful.

The Elina family has channels to communicate with the top galleries, but ”Oil Painting” magazine, in order to maintain its neutrality, hasn’t been very close with those galleries.

It can’t compare to her relationship with Uncle Osborne.

Meanwhile, the conflict between Anna and Sir Brown from ”Oil Painting” is not particularly secret in the upper art world.

At such times, those grand gallery owners would definitely have concerns in signing with the painters she recommends.

Especially after Detective Cat was removed from the buyer’s section of ”Oil Painting” magazine, it seems more like a stance issue.

These gallery owners are all shrewd.

An accusation from Derong Fan Doorn they might not care about.

But standing in opposition to the entire magazine management of ”Oil Painting,” which can be decisive in the hearts of collectors, unless they’re somehow unsatisfied with the challenges of running a gallery.

It’s not like they would shut Miss Elina out, that would also look too bad.

If Anna now makes a private phone call in the capacity of a seasoned collector,

even Larry Gagosian would flatter her with a smile, whether it’s buying paintings or exchanging collections, it’s a matter of a word.

But if it’s recommending an agent painter...

Well, knowing that the result would be insincere, why bother seeking unnecessary trouble?

”There’s no need to worry, the gallery that signed me is not only very formal but also quite large, it is an Intercontinental Gallery. This is where the problem lies. I don’t have much bargaining power in front of them...”

Gu Weijing spoke of his related concerns to Mr. Tree Sloth — he didn’t want Ma Shi Gallery handling Detective Cat related matters.

Faced with difficulties,

whether it’s in painting or other issues, Mr. Tree Sloth is a very good listener.

He clearly remembered when he first added the uncle, the other party had offered to help him review the contract, he seemed to be very knowledgeable.

”Understood.”

Anna chatted briefly on her phone, then comprehended Lady Detective Cat’s needs.

”Since it’s Intercontinental Gallery... Hmm, it should be an exclusive agent, right?” She thought for a moment and asked.

”Yes, it’s an exclusive agent, but from what I see in the terms, it only limits me from working with other galleries or auctions, there doesn’t seem to be a limitation on illustrations.”

”I see.”

Anna pondered for a moment.

She didn’t immediately tell the other party whether it could be signed, many legal complexities can’t be clarified in a couple of sentences over a social app.

”If you don’t mind, could you send me the contract to take a look?”

”Just a moment.”

Before the other party returned to the hotel,

Gu Weijing had added Hanks’ professional social contact, and Hanks had also emailed him a PDF copy of the signed contract.

He pulled up the PDF on his computer, censored all information about ”Ma Shi Gallery” in the contract, and only then sent the document to Mr. Tree Sloth.

It’s not that Gu Weijing wanted to guard against Mr. Tree Sloth.

But since he wished for Gu Weijing and ”Detective Cat” to be handled in such a way that they couldn’t be linked together in the future,

such small matters should be handled with attention, preferably.

No matter how extensively Ma Shi Gallery casts its net, it is still a leading gallery following an elite path, with a history of a hundred years, and it has only signed about three hundred painters in total.

If the news leaks out,

as long as someone knows that Detective Cat will sign with Ma Shi Gallery, and then scans the updated list of agency painters on Ma Shi Gallery’s global official website with a glance,

they can easily identify his true identity.

”I need to work for a while this evening, could you please bring me a computer? Also, I need a cup of coffee, without milk or sugar.” Anna received the new document and took out a mini walkie-talkie from her pocket.

In the nineteenth century, when the upper class traveled by train, it was customary for the host family to book a first-class compartment, and then book a first or second-class berth at the back of the carriage for their close servant.
