You call this a projection?

”The Counter Force does not wish for anyone to make a wish upon the Grail, especially wishes that are far too outrageous...”

Emiya Shirou continued, ”Therefore, when I mentioned that Miyu came from a parallel world and arrived in ours by chance, there was actually one more thing I didn’t say—Miyu didn’t just arrive here alone. The leylines and terrain surrounding Mount Enzou were transferred along with her, undergoing a displacement with the Mount Enzou of a parallel world.

This includes the Holy Grail originally buried in Mount Enzou and the magical ritual that constructed the Holy Grail War...”

Naturally, the environment of Mount Enzou that transferred over came with its own set of magical rituals for a Holy Grail War from another world. However, that was already completely different from the ritual co-constructed by the Einzberns and the other two Founding Families. Even the starting point was different. It wasn’t a ritual designed to perfect the ”Grail” through the Winter Saint; rather, it was a ritual built to better utilize Sakatsuki Miyu, a ”Grail” who was already complete.

The victory conditions Shirou and the others had accumulated previously meant nothing in the face of this new Holy Grail War.

”The Counter Force—or perhaps a mere coincidence—has indeed brought our Holy Grail War to an end in a way where there is no winner.”

As Shirou spoke these words, he kept his tone as calm as possible. But no matter how calm he remained, or how much he framed it as a minor occurrence, to Saber, this was no small matter. It was a crisis of such magnitude that it nearly made her scream.

”Wh-what?! How is that possible?! Shirou, you’re joking, right?

The Grail was purified by you, and even Archer has been defeated. Shouldn’t the Holy Grail War proceed smoothly now?

Could it be... that everything you said before was a lie!?”

Saber was agitated. At any other time, she might not have been this worked up. Just like when she was first summoned and told the war was a sham—that even with victory, the tainted Greater Grail couldn’t grant her wish—she had remained composed. At most, she had felt a touch of disappointment.

But what time was it now? It was the moment the war was supposed to end, with her and Shirou as the victors, the pollution of the Grail resolved, and the wish-granting ceremony finally within reach!

She was so close to going back to save Britain, only to be told the Greater Grail was gone and her wish could no longer be granted?! How could she possibly accept this!

”As for a solution, it’s not like there isn’t one,” Shirou said.

”...!?”

So there was a solution. He should have said so earlier.

Saber’s agitation quickly subsided. She stopped her vocal protests. Although less than a single night had passed since she was summoned by Shirou, he had ended the Holy Grail War in that same short span of time.

Saber, acting alongside Shirou, had witnessed many things. Many problems she deemed unsolvable had been—solved—by him. This roller-coaster experience of watching Shirou display such divine prowess before one difficulty after another had, unknowingly, filled Saber with absolute trust in his words.

Even if Shirou told her that the Britain of a certain parallel world hadn’t actually perished, but had fled to the Americas to continue its legacy and risen to become a Holy Britannian Empire that unified the world, Saber might actually believe him.

”And not just your wish to save Britain, Saber, but Miyu’s as well...”

Shirou didn’t just say this to Saber; he looked at Sakatsuki Miyu as he spoke.

”The crisis facing your world may also find a resolution through a method that requires no sacrifices.”

After all, is this a tradition of the Emiya family? Children who take the name ”Emiya” all want to become Heroes of Justice. Shirou was like this, and so was Emiya(Sakatsuki) Miyu, who had been adopted by Kiritsugu as a tool to save the world. In Prisma Illya, after crossing to Illya’s world, she also wanted to help that world solve the problem of the Class Cards.

Therefore, to prevent Miyu from coming up with the idea that sacrificing herself could save the world—as she did in the original story—Shirou intended to block that thought in advance.

Besides, Shirou wasn’t wrong. In Prisma Illya, Illya’s method of saving the world involved traveling through time, going back to change history. Saber also wanted to go back and change history. If it truly came to the worst-case scenario, those two wishes could actually be merged into one.

Of course, that was a last resort. Before that...

[Cooldown for the next New Game: 7 Days. Would the Host like to pre-register?] [If the Host selects ”Yes,” the system will prompt the Host in advance when the New Game arrives.]

Yes, Emiya Shirou still had a system. He could contact other worlds through it and seek solutions from them.

Things that couldn’t be solved in the Nasuverse would be solved using the noble ”Outer Worlds.”

One must remember the tradition of the Nasuverse: foreign powers are always more ”noble” than local ones! Shirou had already verified this with his Stands.

As for now, during the time spent waiting for the system cooldown... what they should do next was...

”Saber, and Miyu—are you hungry?” Shirou smiled at them with confidence and composure. ”If you’re hungry, let’s go home and eat first.

By the way, Tohsaka, and Bazett—do you want to come too?”
