That Day When Suzuki-kun Wasn't the Mob-B!

The cramped, sunlit living room of Kobayashi’s apartment was thick with a heavy, awkward silence, though the faint, musky scent of sweat and last night’s intense debauchery still clung to the air.

Kobayashi sat rigidly in seiza on the floor, her mind completely blank as she stared at the mythical beast sitting opposite her. Only, the dragon had transformed into a breathtakingly beautiful woman.

Hmm... her boobs are huge.

The thought echoed loudly in Kobayashi’s hangover-riddled brain. She genuinely wanted to reach out and squeeze them. Tohru’s human form was undeniably spectacular, but what truly struck a critical hit on Kobayashi’s preferences was her outfit. The dragon was squeezed into a classic Victorian maid uniform. The crisp fabric hugged her waist tightly, while her massive, heavy D-cup breasts threatened to pop the buttons straight off the chest.

Kobayashi was straight, but that didn’t mean she was blind to a woman’s charm—especially when that woman was wearing the ultimate maid attire.

Still, a question lingered through the brain fog: Why on earth did a mythical dragon choose to wear a maid outfit when taking human form?

Noticing Kobayashi’s intense, blatantly perverted stare, Tohru tilted her head, a sweet, innocent smile curving her lips. ”Do you want to fondle my boobs, Kobayashi-san?”

”Really?! Can I?!”

”...Just what are you two doing?”

The raspy, exhausted voice shattered the tension. Suzuki shuffled out of the tiny kitchen, his hands trembling slightly as he carried a tray of freshly brewed green tea. He looked incredibly weak—like a mummy fresh out of a sarcophagus—but he had somehow forced himself out of bed to act as the host. The sharp, earthy aroma of the hot tea briefly masked the lingering smell of sex in the apartment.

”Sorry to just serve you tea,” Suzuki muttered, carefully setting the cups down with a dull clink.

”N-No, it’s perfectly fine!” Tohru flushed instantly. Her reptilian eyes locked onto Suzuki, swimming with a terrifying mixture of obsessive lust and genuine worry. ”Are you okay, Suzuki-kun? You look incredibly weak.”

”I’m fine. I just need to rest.” And eat a mountain of calories, he thought grimly. But he highly doubted either the corporate slave or the mythical dragon knew how to cook a decent meal.

Kobayashi adjusted her glasses, staring at the frail man in disbelief. ”How are you being so calm right now?!”

Suzuki slowly turned his sunken eyes toward her. ”...Did you completely forget what happened last night when you were blacked out, Senpai?”

”Last night? What happened...?”

The moment the words left her mouth, a flood of fragmented memories hit Kobayashi like a speeding train. The dark forest. The crying. The desperate begging for Suzuki to pick her up. Chugging cheap sake. And then... the wild, uninhibited outdoor threesome with a literal dragon.

”...D-Did we really have sex with a dragon?” Kobayashi choked out, her voice trembling in pure horror.

”We did,” Suzuki sighed, massaging his temples.

”...Now I understand why you look like a dying man.”

Unlike last night, Kobayashi was stone-cold sober. Realizing what Suzuki had endured to keep them alive—and how he had somehow managed to satisfy a gigantic, mythological beast with his mortal dick—she looked at him with absolute reverence.

He’s a hero! No, under the heavens, he is the undisputed number one! There is no man equal to him in this world!

”Yes, he is truly impressive...” Tohru purred, wrapping her arms around her own chest and squeezing her massive breasts together. Her cheeks flushed a deep crimson as she reminisced. The fact that a puny, fragile human had made her climax so intensely made her endlessly greedy for more.

Shiver.

A block of solid ice seemed to form in Suzuki’s crotch. The hairs on his arms stood up. If he didn’t figure out a way to evolve his body soon, he was going to be milked to death.

”Er... so, what exactly are you here for?” Kobayashi coughed, trying to steer the conversation back to reality. She knew last night was entirely her fault. She should be begging Suzuki for forgiveness; if she hadn’t forced him into it, he wouldn’t be sitting here looking like a shriveled husk.

But instead of answering, both Suzuki and Tohru looked at her as if she had lost her mind.

”What? What is it?” Kobayashi asked defensively.

”...Did you seriously forget, Senpai?” Suzuki groaned, feeling another headache coming on. ”You told her to become your maid and ordered her to live with us.”

”...R-Really?!” Kobayashi jumped, her heart dropping into her stomach. The memory surfaced: her drunkenly groping Tohru, declaring her the ultimate dragon maid, and demanding they all live together. ”I-It seems that is what I said...”

But that was when she was drunk! Now that she was sober, the reality of housing a mythological weapon of mass destruction in a tiny apartment was absurd. A massive headache throbbed behind her eyes.

She looked over at Suzuki. He was so incredibly thin and weak. If he forced himself to keep up with Tohru’s draconic libido, he would actually die. But... she had made a promise.

”Please allow me to work for you two as a maid from today on, and live with you!” Tohru beamed, her tail swishing happily behind her (invisibly to normal humans, but very present).

”You can’t.”

”Eh?” Tohru froze, her bright smile shattering as she looked at Kobayashi.

”I know I spoke carelessly last night, but I don’t think I can actually hire you.” Kobayashi reasoned. She was already planning to support Suzuki as a homemaker; how could she possibly afford a live-in maid on a programmer’s salary?

All the color drained from Tohru’s face, replaced by sheer, desperate panic. ”I-I don’t need to be paid!”

”No, that’s not the only problem...” Kobayashi sighed. What even happens when you live with a dragon?

”I can be useful! I promise!”

”Useful how?” Kobayashi asked, raising an eyebrow.

”I can turn this entire city block into a sea of fire! Or curse your enemies to a slow, agonizing death!”

Despite the bright, cheerful smile on Tohru’s face, the words leaving her mouth were terrifyingly brutal.

”No, no, no! Absolutely not!” Kobayashi frantically waved her hands, shutting that down immediately. ”But... wait, why a maid? Why are you dressed like that?”

”Because you said a maid is the absolute best! Right, Suzuki-kun?!” Tohru looked at him with big, hopeful eyes.

”Did I?” Kobayashi turned to Suzuki, horrified.

Suzuki, who had desperately wanted to stay out of this, sighed inwardly. He was exhausted, but he couldn’t just let her rewrite history. ”You did. You said you wanted a dragon maid, and you forced her to wear that while fondling her breasts repeatedly during our threesome.”

”...I am so incredibly sorry.”

If Suzuki asked her to, Kobayashi would have dropped into a full, forehead-to-tatami dogeza right then and there.

”Then, can I live here with the two of you?” Tohru pleaded, her hands clasped together. ”Don’t worry, I will be the best maid in the entire world!”

As Kobayashi hesitated, agonizing over the logistics and the sheer absurdity of it all, Suzuki finally spoke up. ”You know, Tohru... with your raw power, even if you just forced us to let you stay, you wouldn’t have to beg, right?”

”....”

Kobayashi blinked, a cold chill running down her spine. Suzuki was right. The cute, busty young woman kneeling before them wasn’t a cosplayer—she was an apex predator capable of turning them both into ash in a millisecond.

”You two saved me, after all,” Tohru began, her voice dropping into a solemn, ancient cadence. ”And while it is true that I could easily burn you to ash, stomp you to death, or curse you with unimaginable pain...”

”.....” Suzuki and Kobayashi both held their breath.

”...I owe you two my life.” Tohru offered a small, deeply sad smile, bowing her head gracefully. ”I know my sudden arrival has bothered you. I am sorry for intruding and asking for the impossible. My true wish was to live with you both and finally have a home... but since I am only causing you trouble, I will leave.”

Tohru knew she had to step away, especially after seeing Suzuki’s withered state. Yes, as a human man, he was magnificent. But if she forced her draconic needs on him again, he would break. Furthermore, Suzuki and Kobayashi seemed to be a couple. If she stayed, Kobayashi would surely grow jealous.

Dragons were fiercely territorial. While they weren’t strictly monogamous, they hoarded what they treasured and would slaughter anyone who tried to take their partners away. But these humans had saved her from death. She refused to be a monster that destroyed the lives of her saviors just to get what she wanted.

She placed her hands on the tatami mat and prepared to stand.

Suzuki watched in silence, waiting for Kobayashi’s answer. He was the one who had decided to commit to Kobayashi, and it was only fair that she made the final call for her own home. If he demanded Tohru stay, Kobayashi would yield, but it would be unfair to her.

As Tohru turned toward the door, Kobayashi’s heart clenched.

”W-Wait a moment!”

”Hmm?” Tohru paused, looking back over her shoulder.

Kobayashi pointed a trembling finger at the withered husk of a man sipping his tea. ”C-Can you take care of him?”

”Eh?!”

The exclamation left both Tohru and Suzuki’s mouths simultaneously.

While Tohru’s eyes instantly lit up like a thousand suns, glowing with pure, unadulterated joy, Suzuki went pale as a ghost.

Does Senpai not realize that a dragon’s version of ”taking care” of a man is different from a human’s?!

Suzuki gripped his teacup in absolute terror. His life was officially on a terrifying countdown. As the two women began to happily chatter, accepting their new, bizarre living arrangement, Suzuki realized one absolute, undeniable fact:

If he didn’t figure out a way to rapidly evolve his mortal body, he wasn’t going to survive the week.
