That Day When Suzuki-kun Wasn't the Mob-B!

BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOOM!

Deafening, earth-shattering thunder rapidly rolled across the night sky above the Kuoh Academy courtyard.

While the towering Bandersnatch and Jabberwocky possessed the sickening ability to spawn endless, smaller copies of themselves to completely overwhelm their opponents, they had fundamentally underestimated the sky above them.

Akeno had summoned a massive, swirling jet stream of absolute, pitch-black thunderclouds. The storm didn’t just blanket the city; it swallowed the horizon. She hadn’t done it alone. Baraqiel had poured every single ounce of his immense, Cadre-level demonic and holy energy into his daughter’s spell, transforming the sky itself into an apocalyptic weapon of mass destruction.

”Are you okay, Baraqiel?!” Azazel shouted over the roaring thunder.

Azazel looked at his oldest friend in genuine shock. The usually massive, muscular Fallen Angel looked visibly drained, his imposing physique practically thinning out as his energy was violently siphoned into the thunderclouds.

”Don’t worry about me. I am perfectly fine,” Baraqiel grunted, waving Azazel off. ”Don’t try to make me rest. I am going to watch my little girl see this through to the very end.”

Baraqiel looked up at the sky, his heart swelling with an incredibly complex, profound sense of pride. He watched in awe as his daughter commanded a storm that rivaled the wrath of the gods.

”...Is she normally this monstrously strong?” Azazel muttered speechlessly, staring at the endless expanse of crackling lightning.

Was this because of Finn? Did merely submitting to that anomaly of a Devil grant her this kind of world-breaking power?

High above the blood-soaked courtyard, suspended in the eye of the storm, Akeno completely ignored the murmurs below. Her mind was operating at an incomprehensible speed. She was calculating the atmospheric pressure, the electrical resistance of the Anti-Monsters, the precise trajectories of her lightning, and the exact positions of her allies—all functioning flawlessly, like a divine supercomputer.

Finn had granted her temporary access to the Manager’s calculation matrix. That absolute, logic-defying processing power allowed her to push her Senjutsu to its absolute pinnacle, instantly drawing limitless ambient energy from the planet to replenish what she burned.

But the Manager did more than just calculate.

As her master slumbered deep within Kuroka’s shadows, undergoing his own terrifying metamorphosis, Akeno felt a deep, sympathetic resonance echo through her very soul. Driven by absolute devotion, an intoxicating rush of lust, and her fierce desire to protect her resting lover, Akeno bypassed the biological limitations of her race.

She evolved.

”...What in the world is that?” Rias gasped, her blue-green eyes wide in absolute disbelief.

Akeno’s standard lightning was already devastating enough to incinerate the smaller monster clones and fry the remaining Khaos Brigade stragglers where they stood. But to completely eradicate thirteen behemoths without blowing Kuoh City off the map, Akeno knew she had to unleash something she had always subconsciously avoided.

She embraced her holy heritage.

If I want to protect the man I love most, I must become stronger, Akeno thought, a deep, euphoric heat pooling in her core.

Suddenly, a brilliant, impossibly gentle light erupted from her back. The sharp, metallic scent of ozone was instantly overwhelmed by the sweet, intoxicating fragrance of blooming lilies and pure vanilla.

Two bud-like appendages burst from her shoulder blades, unfurling rapidly.

Azazel, Baraqiel, Michael, and every Angel and Fallen Angel present felt their jaws practically hit the floor.

Everyone knew Akeno was a hybrid—the daughter of a Fallen Angel and a human shrine maiden. At her absolute peak, she could manifest ten wings: eight black, feathery wings of a Fallen Angel, and two leathery, bat-like wings of a reincarnated Devil.

But right now, under the blinding glow of the storm, Akeno unfurled exactly twelve wings.

More shockingly... they were pure, unblemished, brilliant white. They were the holy wings of a Seraph!

”WHAT THE HECK?! WHAT THE HECK! WHAT THE HECK?!” Azazel screamed, completely losing his mind. He grabbed his hair, staring at the sky. ”HOW IS THAT EVEN LOGICALLY POSSIBLE?!”

The dark, rumbling clouds above mirrored her transformation, turning a brilliant, sacred gold. It was entirely illogical. How could a hybrid Fallen Angel manifest the ultimate aura of Heaven’s highest echelon? Even though Baraqiel’s specialty was Holy Lightning, for his daughter to suddenly breach the realm of a Seraph defied every known law of theology.

Akeno didn’t offer them an explanation. She simply didn’t care. Her absolute focus was entirely on executing her new technique.

As her holy aura washed over the battlefield, the static electricity in the air caused her traditional miko outfit to cling desperately to her skin. The thin fabric hugged the incredibly lush, heavy swell of her breasts and the wide, sensual flare of her hips. Her skin was flushed a beautiful, deep pink. She brought her hands together in a perfectly pious prayer, but the deeply sadistic, blissfully lewd smile spreading across her glossy lips made it impossible to look at her with pure reverence.

It was an intoxicating, terrifying blend of saintly divinity and demonic sadism.

Dozens of massive, golden magic circles stacked like translucent layers in the sky, aiming directly down at the Anti-Monsters. Akeno knew perfectly well that Finn hated wasting valuable land and resources. If she simply nuked the city, her beloved would likely scold her for destroying potential real estate—a thought that made her giggle softly.

So, she had formulated a much kinder technique. A localized, surgical strike of absolute divine punishment.

”I announce.”

Her voice echoed with terrifying clarity. The moment those two words fell from her lips, every enemy on the battlefield felt a bone-chilling shiver of absolute horror.

”Thy existence is a blasphemy; thy flesh, kindling for the divine pyre.”

”Let the earth reject thy corpse.”

”Let the heavens cast out thy prayers.”

Each line of her prayer sent a sickening shudder through the Khaos Brigade. This wasn’t a standard baptismal rite meant to send lost souls peacefully to the afterlife. This was a direct, unfiltered execution meant to drag heretics straight into the deepest abyss of Hell.

Even the towering Bandersnatch and Jabberwocky—mindless beasts utterly devoid of emotion—suddenly thrashed in uncharacteristic, primal terror.

The moment the chant enveloped them, their massive bodies began actively rejecting their own existence. Blinding, freezing white light violently erupted from beneath their thick hides. The spell literally boiled their blood into holy water, burning them from the inside out. Their massive bones and thick muscles calcified, turning into brittle, salt-like pillars. Any attempt to struggle caused their joints to completely shatter internally, paralyzing the behemoths in unimaginable agony.

”Ash to ash.”

”Bone to dust.”

”Spirit of the void.”

But Akeno wasn’t just targeting their physical forms. Tapping into the Manager’s network, she locked onto the soul of every single enemy present, including the desperate, bleeding Leonardo.

”AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! STOP! STOP! STOP! I BEG YOU! MAKE IT STOP!”

Leonardo and the surviving terrorists screamed like tormented souls trapped in purgatory. The spell violently ripped their minds open, forcefully flooding their human brains with the raw ”teachings of God”—an infinite, unfiltered stream of divine information that a mortal mind simply could not process. It felt exactly like having their skulls cracked open and filled to the brim with molten lead. They were forced to vividly, simultaneously experience the agonizing guilt and terror of every single sin they had ever committed.

”May the holy light strip thee of thy name, thy memories, and thy genesis.”

”Shatter upon the absolute wheel of judgment.”

Their egos and identities were violently peeled away, layer by agonizing layer. They forgot their own names seconds before they even died.

Akeno didn’t practice Christianity, but her father was a byproduct of the Christian faith. Unleashing this absolute, hypocritical divine judgment upon the very people who wanted to murder her sleeping lover sent a deeply thrilling, euphoric shiver straight down her spine.

Her sadistic smile widened into something breathtakingly gorgeous.

”Kyrie Eleison.” (Lord, have mercy... for my hands bear none).

When those final words were spoken, her spell reached its horrifying, flawless climax.

The phrase traditionally translated to ”Lord, have mercy,” but Akeno’s spell enacted the exact opposite. It created a localized vacuum of absolute, unfiltered divine wrath. The enemies’ souls weren’t sent to the afterlife to be judged; they were violently ground down into raw, neutral mana and completely scattered into the atmosphere.

”ARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!”

For exactly one microsecond, Leonardo, the terrorists, and the towering Anti-Monsters remained fully conscious, experiencing the ultimate, unspeakable terror of ceasing to exist entirely.

Then, there was silence.

No explosions. No shockwaves.

When the golden light finally faded, the towering beasts and the remnants of the Khaos Brigade were completely gone. All that remained on the blood-soaked concrete of Kuoh Academy were scorched, pitch-black silhouettes—the utterly forgotten shadows of enemies who had just been completely erased from reality.
