That Day When Suzuki-kun Wasn't the Mob-B!

”Carrion, and Frey?”

When Suzuki mentioned those names, Anrietta frowned and reminded him earnestly, since if he had this light attitude, he might die. ”They are Demon Lords. They are existences that have stood above the food chain. You will die if you take that attitude.”

”But, there is a reason why you mention those names, right?” Suzuki stared at Anrietta and spoke bluntly to her. ”If I have to say the reason, it is because those two are slightly weaker than Clayman and Milim that you have mentioned, right?”

”...even if they are weaker, they aren’t something that a human can face, okay, but if you hide on the Dwargon, then you will be okay.”

”I might as well hide in the Empire.”

”.....”

Anrietta was speechless, but she knew well that despite being a weak human, Suzuki had guts, which made her always look at him differently, especially with his desire to see how he dared to face those beings who were stronger than him on the bed.

”....” Suzuki.

To have sex with a being that was higher than him meant that he would be sucked dry, especially when his Magicule was low, and while he might not be weak, as he was an Otherworlder, which gave him a certain Unique Skill, Anrietta knew that a human still had a limitation unless...

’He evolves into the Enlightened.’

Yet, was it easy?

”....” Suzuki.

While he knew that Anrietta had a certain misunderstanding about him, especially when he was an Enlightened, he wouldn’t tell anyone about it, as it was better to keep it quiet. Frankly, his Etymologist seemed to be stronger than he had imagined, as it could hide away his status from Gazel and all others, except for Rimuru.

Still, Rimuru had the Sage and Veldora within his body, and this guy was the protagonist, so Suzuki didn’t feel surprised.

”So, why did you recommend Carrion?”

While Suzuki had some information about this world, and also knew the plot due to the memory of his previous life and the other him, there were some facts that he didn’t know, and what he had read was just the webnovel of Tensura, and he also watched some of the anime, and read the manga, which hadn’t ended yet, so there were many things that he didn’t know, especially when a popular work like Tensura usually had many extras or spin-offs.

”First, Carrion, the Lion King, works like a beast.”

”...okay?”

”I am not kidding.”

”I know. Beast, right? In other words, he is simple, and as long as someone is worthy of his respect, Carrion will let him go, or treat him like a friend.”

”That’s right.”

Anrietta nodded, glad that Suzuki understood her words. ”Also, he is a land-based beast, and while he might be able to fly, it isn’t his specialty, so in case something happens, we can run away.

”Oh, most of his skills are direct and direct, so it is easy to dodge, as long as you are being careful.”

”...I think most people will die, though.”

Anrietta might say it easily, but Suzuki knew that the reason she could say it was because she was strong enough and had the backing of Gazel.

”That’s why I am telling you not to do anything stupid.” Anrietta sighed. ”Isn’t it better for you to focus on the Western Countries?”

Based on her understanding, it was far easier for Suzuki to monopolize or control the economies of the Western Countries than for the Demon Lord.

”The Western Countries aren’t as simple as you think. They might seem fragile and fragmented, but that’s the way they’re designed to be.”

”Why?”

Wasn’t it better to be united?

”That way, it is easier to control.”

”.....” Anrietta.

Who was that person?

While she wanted to ask that question, she swallowed those words, realizing this perverted young man wasn’t as goofy as she thought he was, and probably, despite his pervy acts, he might hide many burdens, which she didn’t know.

”.....”

Suzuki wasn’t sure what Anrietta was thinking, but he was still interested in visiting Carrion’s place. As for what kind of chances he could find there? Please, are there any places that have their own values? Even Alaska, which was covered in snow, was rich in resources, and the Middle East, which was covered in desert, was rich in oil. While some people might not see the value of those things now, with his vision and business acumen, he believed he could change that.

’But...’

As Anrietta had said, Suzuki also felt like it was better for him to just focus on the Western Countries, yet when he thought of all of the problems that were hidden there, it was better for him to walk away for a moment, slowly, took his time, since if he poked too hard, he was afraid those villains, who thought that they were the mastermind, the one who controlled behind the scene, would notice what he had done.

Regardless, while Rimuru’s village had just started, it had a lot of potential, especially with Rimuru himself, as the leader, the god, the one who started everything.

Regardless, Suzuki was polite and unlike any of the humans the monsters had faced, so they treated him well. More importantly, he was also a friend of Rimuru, so, of course, they gave him the best hospitality, including the best meat they had caught and grilled like yakiniku.

”Is it delicious?”

”Um!”

Anrietta, who was completely relaxed, nodded as she ate the food prepared by Haruna, the cute Goblina in charge of cooking.

”Is it good, Suzuki-sama?”

Haruna tucked her hair behind her as she leaned forward, cooking for him, yet when she moved like that, her bountiful chest trembled violently, as the clothes that wrapped around her chest seemed to be about to burst.

”Thank you, but let me do it myself.”

”Eh, no. Please let me do it since I know that you might be uncomfortable, but please... let us show our hospitality toward Rimuru-sama’s best friend...”

While Haruna said so, she looked at him sadly with puppy-like eyes, which made him feel guilty, since Suzuki didn’t want her serving him because he didn’t want to look at her the wrong way. He wanted to be polite, yet he knew well that it was hard, especially when he had to admit that despite having pale-green skin, they were all pretty cute.

Not as beautiful as Treyni, Mama-san, the elves, or even Anrietta, yet like any flowers in this world, each of them had its own charms, which made him helpless.

Yet, his will wasn’t so weak that he would be swayed so easily; after all, he could even withstand the charm of the group of elves, so it should be easier with the Goblinas, right?

”Okay, then.”

”Thank you.”

Anrietta, who had been watching him, nodded, thinking that it seemed Suzuki wasn’t as perverted as she thought he was, which was why she knew it would be safe if she slept with him tonight, right?

”.....” Suzuki.

Yup, it was extremely safe, as he would protect her.

Yup, yup, and yup.

Still, he forgot to ask one question.

”What’s wrong with Frey?”

”....” Anrietta.

By the way, while I know that I am easy to get bored, I can’t help it since it is better for me to change the world, so that way, I can get more energy, and have time to think of a proper continuation of the world where I have been before, since if I just write it casually, it will be boring, and once again, I will get bored since I have been writing many stories for the past... how many years is it again?

But thank you for continuing to read this story.

I am glad you share your opinions. I have been thinking of writing an original story since I have been writing fan fiction, which I feel is similar, but I haven’t written any originals except in the past, which I have deleted.

But I am just thinking about it and haven’t written anything yet.

As for the theme?

It might be a slice-of-life and a romance, but I first need to finish my thesis. Well, I should hopefully be done with my third semester, graduate at the end of the year, and by then, I will have a lot of free time.

Anyway, thank you for your support, since you all give me many opportunities to improve.
